The phone number did not work, and this place was closed there was another place nearby called MOKU about a block away that was about $10/hour for surfboard rentals.

Loved the Waikiki Surfboard Rental service. Why drag your boards from the mainland when you don't have to!!! Very convenient to have them delivered or pick them up when you want to surf. American and Hawaiian Air wanted to charge me $100 each way per board from the mainland. That is not cheap and the hassle of dragging along boards with all the kids stuff.Waikiki Surfboard Rentals surfboard selection was plentiful. I needed a soft board to get my 8 yr old up and a 8'6" long board for my wife, then I rented two SUPs. William set us up with longboards, SUPs, soft boards, and let me borrow a gopro mount piece I was missing so I could capture my kids and wife surfing. WSR also let me rent a board 7'6" fun board to take to the North Shore for the last part of our trip. Waikiki Surfboard Rentals also has a service my friend Bob and his family used, where WSR delivers boards to you at your hotel. Super easy to order online prior to your trip and the boards show up at your hotel when you do. Bob ordered two SUPs and a long board and kept them in his room all week. One word to wise is reserve your boards early, so they don't run out.

I was vacationing in Waikiki for a week last month and decided to not bring my board. Best decision ever once I found these guys! I rented a surfboard for six days for $95! Best thing was I could grab a board anytime, return it to eat lunch, pick up the same board or another, and repeat for as many days as I paid. This was super convenient! Plus their location across the street from Canoes was excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff too. Only complaint was an old, dodgy leash broke while surfing, but they replaced it. I'll definitely come back here next time I visit Waikiki!

Hells yes! -Workers were super knowledgable and if you're honest about your skills, abilities and fears, they will pick out the best board to match you. -They also give out the best tips and advice to maximize your experience-they have a tiny set up on the side of a restaurant on the outside but they are always available to help and provide you with your choice of water toy! -loved my the rental service here, it was quick and easy!

i liked personally the option to combine a GoPro camera with the surfboard. The service was with not doubt good: nice (also for tourists like me), reachable during the day, and flexible. In my opinion It's not preferable to rent for a short term, therefore for a long one.I don't know other rentals services, but for me was is a way greater than those on the beach, because of the low prices that can allow you to rent longer and so to get use to with the board.hope i could help! :)

This guys are the best ! I was there with my girlfriend to rent the sup and longboard with go pro camera . the guy ( William) was super fast with great customer service he made and prep everything we needed in few min while we checking the waves . Thank you for Everything I'm sure we going to come back again ! Super convenient ! Right on the spot!

If I could put a negative review on yelp, I definitely would for these guys. In town on staycation and wanted to work on some surfing skills, so I set up a surf lesson. When I did my original google search it looked like they were two blocks from my hotel, and had multiple 5 star ratings. I walked to the location google had, no shop at that location. The employee I had been messaging with sent me a completely different address that was a 56 minute walk. I hopped in a Lyft and headed that way, messaging them that I was on my way. When I arrived, the door to the shopped was closed and locked. I tried messaging the employee multiple times with no reply. Tried calling the shop number, no answer. Emailed the manager that I sent my Zelle payment to, no answer. Sad and disappointing.

Once again - I rented two longboards from this business- Roy delivered them to our hotel and picked them up at the end of our amazing trip. Great people and really fair prices. I will continue to rent from them every time we go.Mahalo for the amazing board you loaned me- I received so many compliments in the line-up.

Good location, great deals on rentals. Santiago is a true professional. He works here 8am-6pm. He is very knowledgable and friendly. Shaka brah!!

Just returned from a trip to Honolulu with our three teenagers. We were very disappointed with all the surfboard shops because the boards seemed old and battered and the service was mediocre. After researching on the web we discovered Waikiki Surfboard Rentals, where the people were all helpful and the boards were state of the art! Best of all, the boards were delivered to our hotel.
