Waikiki Nanny

We had the pleasure of having Jenn babysit my 1 year old when we were visiting Waikiki. Let me save you the painstaking agony of spending hours online researching and scouring reviews for the right sitter. I read all of Jenn's reviews and decided that she would be a good candidate. The clients that she had all gave her stellar recommendations and the reviews were all consistent. When we finally met her she was very warm and just a genuinely good person to be around. Upon introducing herself she gave us a binder that had her credentials, CPR/first aid and license they were all up to date. We talked about her background and how she moved to Waikiki from SF. Honestly, I would have loved to have just hungout with her myself and knocked back a few Primos! I had emailed her from the mainland which days we wanted to book well in advance to give her a heads up. Jenn will send you an invoice to secure those dates via PayPal. All the communication from the first email to the very last text message were all smooth and clear! I never had to worry about her not showing up, reliability in all aspects were met. We had her for a total of 6 nights and she has a 4 hour minimum. My son is an amazing sleeper and we kept him on Cali time so he was in bed completely knocked out by 3pm Hawaii time. So Jenn would come over by 5pm and we would go out and enjoy the rest of the evening. Jenn even gave us tips on things to do and where to eat, which all turned out to be great recommendations. The funny thing is she never met my son as he was always a sleep! We had a monitor that we brought which was very helpful. Trusting your child to someone who is an absolute stranger is the scariest and most daunting decision but at a certain point you have to start somewhere. My husband and I has the most amazing date nights due to Jenn, they were much needed. I've even told Jenn she is more than welcome to stay with us anytime she visits the bay area. We were sad to leave her but really happy that we met. I've already given her name and email to most of my friends and family. **Bonus: we had a lot of left over groceries in our condo and I asked if she was willing to take whatever she wanted and it felt so good to not waste it all!**

Jenn Clark was our nanny during our family vacation to Waikiki, Hawaii. Jenn is professional, punctual, reliable, trustworthy, honest, hard-working, dedicated and conscientious. She is an excellent nanny and took care of my three children, ages 8 years, 2 years and 10 months. Jenn always made sure the children were well fed, clean, diapers changed promptly and most important, that they were happy. She took my 8 year old daughter on a special field trip to Waikiki Beach to go boogy-boarding and she spent special one on one time on the beach with my 10 month old son relaxing under an umbrella. Jenn's energy was a great match for my active 2 year old son as well! My husband and I were able to enjoy each other's company on vacation because we knew the children were in good hands and being well taken care of with Jennifer. It was obvious to us that Jenn truly likes children and takes her job seriously.

We had a great experience with Jenn during our recent vacation to Honolulu.I did a fair amount of research before visiting as I wanted to find an option for my two kids (ages 7 and 4) that would allow my wife and I to have some "kid free" time during our vacation. Jenn came highly recommended on Yelp and another travel site so we reached out to book some time.Jenn was extremely responsive - generally responding within 60 minutes to my emails. We locked on a date for child care and followed up the day before to settle on a time.Jenn was punctual, polite, and immediately presented her credentials (business license, FBI background check, etc.) to help make us feel comfortable with our choice. She was very outgoing and friendly and our kids immediately took to her.My son (the 7 year-old) can tend to gravitate towards electronics, so I gave her a heads up so she could have several varied activities that would limit the video games. She did a great job - brought crayons and paper, games, and a movie. We had lots of books and she read with the kids and kept them engaged for the four hours we were out and about.Her rates were very reasonable (especially considering the premium one often pays in Hawaii) and settling up at the end of the night yielded no surprises.I'd highly recommend Jenn if you are going to be in Honolulu and are looking for safe, caring, reliable child care!

We have known Jenn since before our children were born and we knew we could trust her to take good care of our son. But knowing someone doesn't necessarily mean they're good with kids. However, in addition to bring a great friend, Jenn is an excellent babysitter. She came prepared with lots of fun activities for our son to do, and when we came back to the room he was asleep. When he woke up he told us what a great time he had. We recommend Jenn very highly. She is patient and fun and sets boundaries in a firm yet caring & loving way.

Jenn watched my 5 year old and my friends 3 year old one evening while we went out. She came with credentials and wanted to know basic info about the kids such as allergies etc. she is very professional and easy to reach. The whole process dates, time, and location was very smooth. We text the whole time she was watching them which kept me at ease. I would definitely recommend Jenn and would seek her services again.

Jenn Clark is pretty much everything you could ask for in a nanny, the sort of person who becomes the "favorite aunty" if she were family. My little one (5 years old) is very very shy of people she doesn't know which could have made finding a nanny a touch difficult but we got lucky since we called Jenn first. Jenn has a very calm, genuinely nice, demeanor and made her feel at ease right away. Jenn also brought a selection of age appropriate toys with her. Couldn't have asked for better. I just wish she lived closer to home so I could call her all the time!

Jenn is amazing. I can't begin to explain how nerve-wracking it is trying to find a trustworthy person in a strange town to watch over your child. We had a 12 day stay in Waikiki and my husband and I found Jenn's recommendations impeccable. We took a chance and were rewarded with one of the best overnight childcare experiences. She was so good with our Tommy during our 2 week vacation. We had a few functions that weren't appropriate for a toddler...and also a couple of romantic date nights, and Jenn stepped right in to take care of Tommy. We were lucky to find her.

When we decided to do a staycation in Waikiki with our three children we decided that the evenings were going to be reserved for us as a couple. We found Jenn Clark / Waikiki Nanny who provided evening childcare. Jenn was professional, prompt, and very child friendly. Jenn Clark took the extra time to get to know each one of our children's personalities and was very warm and engaging with them. I was amazed at how Jenn was able to care for my 3 children keeping them entertained as well as setting limits and boundaries. I found Jenn to be extremely trustworthy, honest, kind, and responsible putting my children's safety first and foremost. I would highly recommend Jenn Clark as your childcare provider for tourists and locals alike. My kids love Aunty Jenn and she has become our go to childcare provider if we are enjoying Waikiki's nightlife.
