Thank you fellow Yelp Elite Ray L. for creating this page. I initially don't like driving in Waikiki but tonight our group of five decided to walk off dinner :)After a very short drizzle, we were able to safely walk along Kalakaua Ave., coned off from vehicle traffic. It appears that both locals and tourists enjoyed walking around this festival.I felt safe, no one got rowdy, and it was a pleasant walk to see and support our local arts, crafts, and food vendors. They also had a variety of beverage vendors.I'm not very good in art so I can certainly appreciate seeing the fine arts and crafts available for sale. These would make great gifts for the holidays.

This was so fun! There was foods, jewelry, clothes & other knickknacks for sale. They closed down part of the street & it was just a fun atmosphere.

What a fun way to end our last night in Waikiki! Kalākaua was closed off from 4-10? pm and lined with local vendors, food trucks, and local eats. Vendors selling everything from local handmade soaps, jewelry, t shirts, beef jerky, etc. Many unique eats- fried giant squid, satay, local plates, malasadas, Hawaiian churros, you name it! There's a bounce house for the kiddos, and an entertainment section set up with a stage and DJ.The entertainment was awesome! Started off with a hula show danced by the local keiki, a local teenager band with a spectacular singer- the band played tunes ranging from pop, to classic rock, to the 50s, a fabulous ukulele show, and a group of DJs that definitely got the Party started. Everyone was dancing in the streets! Dancing on the street, outside, near Waikiki beach- all ages...happy, happy. What a blast!Very safe, local police at site.

This festival is from Lewers to kanekapolei avenue and filled with local vendors selling food and crafts. This festival does not have any entertainment like others but it's just fun being out on the main drag and the look on the tourist having fun is priceless!!
