Our diving experience was nothing short of extraordinary, and the team that supported us made it even more memorable. Selina, who drove the van, ensured our journeys to and from the dive sites were enjoyable. She kept us entertained throughout the drives and added so much fun to the overall experience.Captain Louigi was another standout member of the team. His expertise and knowledge of the area were unmatched. He ensured our safety and made sure we were always in the best spots for diving. His friendly personality and passion for the ocean made him an integral part of the experience.During the dives, we were fortunate to work with two incredible instructors, Jonathan and Ana. On one day, Jonathan joined us, and his expertise was invaluable. He coached me through mistakes I made underwater and patiently helped me improve. On another day, Ana guided us. She was not only a fantastic instructor but also a joy to talk to. Both of them enhanced our dives significantly. Now, let's talk about the dives themselves. We had the opportunity to go on three: a coral reef dive, a 100-foot shipwreck dive, and a night dive. Each one was unique and breathtaking in its own way.The coral reef dive was a vibrant display of marine life. The colorful coral formations, schools of fish, and diverse aquatic creatures were mesmerizing. The shipwreck dive, on the other hand, was surreal. Exploring the sunken vessel was incredible, and we encountered eels, turtles, octopi, and countless fish amidst the wreckage. But the night dive was on an entirely different level--an experience beyond words. The beauty of the underwater world illuminated at night is something everyone should witness at least once. The tranquility and the glowing marine life created a scene that can only be truly appreciated in person. If you're ever in Hawaii and looking for a phenomenal diving spot, I cannot recommend this experience enough. The team, the location, and the dives themselves make it absolutely unforgettable.

Amazing experience here with the Waikīkī Dive team! Big thanks to Taylor, Hannah, and Captan Yoshi for making this a memorable experience! The booking process was very easy and we made a last minute reservation the day before our dive. The staff was very welcoming and nice when we arrived and had all of our gear ready to try on before we got into the water. They were kind to take the equipment for us to the dock and loaded everything into the boat for us as well! Captain Yoshi did a great job with the initial briefing and was very happy to answer questions. While on the boat, Taylor did great with providing instructions and letting us know what we can expect for every part of the trip. There was a another gentlemen that I did not catch the name for, but when I ran into an issue with my BCD, he was kind enough to let me borrow his personal one in order to finish my dive. I'm so grateful the crew took the BCD issue seriously and also grateful nothing happened on the ascend for the dive. The boat ride was short - which I'm thankful for since I easily get motion sickness, and they also had snacks and water for the divers. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this dive shop for an affordable and experienced dive crew.

Very convenient location in the heart of Waikīkī. I was in town for a week and took the open water certification course with them (heads up you can take the prerequisite learning course direct in the PADI website for $59 cheaper). It took three days in total which I did back to back; first day was in a shallow bay instead of pool which I appreciated, more of an authentic test experience, the next two days each had two dives at the same site which kind of bummed me out. Would have been nice to check out various sites given how far I flew to get certified. Pros: very friendly dive masters - shout out to Micah and Matt! And Selena at the front desk was super friendly and knowledgeable. Gear was clean and dry for the most part. Cons: It pissed me off they buried the lead on the computer not being apart of the very expensive certification cost. On top of that, to my surprise on day two I learned renting the watch for an extra $50 was DAILY and not for all three days. To the owner - that's ridiculous and sneaky. Not to mention the poor quality - none of them which had a part to tuck the super long neck into which kept getting in the way. Be transparent about add ons please. They also charge you for new mouth pieces on the regulator but on day two I inhaled mine and there was sand in it so that's a farce. Because they bundle you up with other groups that booked different types of dives - expect to lose most of your morning/day to these sessions. Typically we'd get back to the dive shop at 2:30 (starting at 9). Suggestions: - The moment I got " certified" was so lack luster both on the boat and at the shop. I'm a UX designer and I highly recommend investing a little more delight into this for your customers, it will go a long way both in reviews but also memories and referrals. - Would have been nice for the masters to at least offer to take one picture of you on your dives so you have a keep sake - as students you're not allowed to bring your own cameras in the water. Huge bummer. - Sell headbands for those who want to avoid dreads after dives - Incentivizing five star reviews for a sticker is unethical. I tried to buy the sticker to commemorate my certification (god forbid they give these out for free); because I wanted to write an honest review, and they won't let you. So you're forced to inflate your reviews which is just bad business practice. All in all outside of all those very manageable opportunities to improve- was a good experience and a great check on my bucket list!

My favorite dive shop! Had such an awesome experience here. I saw so many turtles, and some of the other divers on the boat got to see a manta ray too! The boat had plenty of snacks and water as well. An absolutely wonderful day of diving, can't recommend them enough!

Pretty much what you would expect in a very touristy location. The pros: everyone was friendly and professional including the captain Jim. I did get a very good safety vibe and briefing from everyone. Drive coaches were very good. Captain Jim was very detailed in the safety briefing before we left and double checking divers and giving us a hand in and out of the water. They use vans to give you a ride from the shop to the boat. The boat was smaller, but fine (no bathrooms on board). Dives went without a hitch. The dive masters were very good. Great on communications in the shop, getting on the boat and during the dive. We had one leading our small group and one following. As we were done early, they did drop us each off at our hotels on the way back to the shop. I did go for a night dive. I have done night dives before and this one was fine, just really boring, other than the bioluminescence at the very end, which was really cool. You turn off you light and wave your hands and see it. Dives at Monterey CA at night had a whole extra level of things to see at night, seems like everything here goes to sleep. After seeing very little on the first dive, we pretty much stayed in the same location for the second dive. This is pretty close to the shore, just a short ride and other dive boats were out there. I would think there could be better places to go. Maybe a bit further away from all of the busy-ness? Maybe it is just me. The gear all worked. It was pretty well used. One person's rented equipment required a swap out on the boat during a leak. It may have been a problem with more divers and more equipment not working. I would suggest testing at the shop, we didn't. I did get hit with an extra $50 charge for using their dive computer (gauge) at the shop. Wasn't expecting that, but not a big deal. So, great adventure diving here, maybe not, but if you are looking for some dive time, education or just an outing, I would recommend.

I was in town for vacation and researched out a number of dive shops in the area and was so glad that I chose Waikiki dive center. They do an amazing job with their dive tours. Friendly staff, and great dive sites. Our deep dive took us to a wreck where we saw sharks and turtles. The reef afterwards was great with out needing a long boat ride to view. This was definitely one of the shorter boat rides, which makes it even better for people prone to motion sickness. They are definitely knowledgeable and i would consider them for certification or tours in the area. Their pricing is also reasonable compared to some of the other shops in the area.

Great crew! Dillon, April, Alex, Yoshi and Jonathan were professional, patient with the beginners and kept the PADI divers in first and out last so everyone was at their desired pace. Thanks all!

Chad was a great scuba instructor! He taught us the basics, helped us get familiar with the gear and procedures, and was very helpful and patient as first time learners. I would highly recommend him for anyone's first time diving!
