We were looking for a new place to eat and the food and Kelli's extra care and attention made it our new favorite place! We wanted a nice place to take our Christmas photos and it had a beautiful waiting area with a perfect Christmas tree to take a photo in front of. The wait was long but we understand it was Christmas day and probably short handed. Kelli was so amazing she made up for the long wait by being so thoughtful and cheerful. She helped us feel like we knew her for a long time since she is so friendly!! Thank you so much for helping us enjoy our special family time!!My father in law was extra happy with the kalbi for the large portion and the taste. My mother-in-law was very pleased with the salmon. Even if she does not like shiitake mushrooms usually, the chef made it taste so good she actually enjoyed it! The kids enjoyed the Waikele burger and of course my husband and I enjoyed the food as well~

The country club restaurant is OK, nothing to revisit and hardly memorable. Came here for a work holiday luncheon. They did have our table set up well, and served our pre-ordered food all together. I ordered the tempura teishoku, which did come with a heft portion of tempura. There was a dense piece of white fish, 3 shrimp tempura, and assorted veggie tempura like asparagus, shitake mushroom, squash, okinawan sweet potato. Some of the tempura pieces (shrimp) had soggy batter. The salad dressing was pretty good. A coworker got the tonkatsu teishoku, which I got to try, and it was dryyyyyyyy.I did see some large, plump fries which looked pretty food and I'd want to try if I ever come back. A major pain point was the amount of flies. So. Many. Flies. They places the revolving fly fans at our tables, but only 1 fan in the middle of a long table, meaning everyone at the ends were just bombarded with flies. So off-putting.Parking was free and ample. We had auto gratuity of 20% due to large party. Servers were friendly.

Food here is amazing! Never a disappointment. Their crispy pata is the best!! My favorite appetizer is their delicious garlic fries, so crispy & right amount of garlic. My husband comes here for their ribeye, which he loves. Ambiance is nice, service is good...Overall, this is a place to come for such delicious food

Waikele Country Club Restaurant: Not Worth the Hype We had high hopes for Waikele Country Club Restaurant but unfortunately left disappointed. Here's the breakdown: Food: We tried the steamed basa dish, which was well-cooked but overly salty, and the spicy ahi don, which was decent but nothing special. Overall, the food was okay--not terrible--but way overpriced for the quality. Service: The service was painfully slow, and despite bringing up a serious issue (a fly landed in our water), the servers only replaced the water without much concern. We had to ask for a discount ourselves to acknowledge the poor service. Ambiance: The restaurant was extremely loud, making conversations nearly impossible. Plus, the fly problem was unacceptable--staff even brought out a fly-swatting fan, yet the bugs were still a nuisance. The entire experience was frustrating, and for the price, it just wasn't worth it. We can't recommend this place until they address their service, ambiance, and cleanliness issues.

Great place for big parties! We always go here since it's wheelchair accessible. Service has always been great. The food is kind of eh, like nothing too outstanding here. I haven't really found anything that I keep coming back to. This time I got the Nabeyaki udon. Kind of plain but still pretty good. The tempura is probably the best part.

Came here for a friend's Birthday, sadly disappointed. The grounds outside are nice and interior is pleasant, however food's taste needs some help. I think kitchen doesn't believe in more robust flavors. They were fairly busy when we arrived, which made for very noisy atmosphere. Our order was taken, two Teriyaki Salmon with grill veggies over rice. Look decent but very weak flavor. It was the least flavorful Teriyaki sauce I've ever had. The two Salmon dishes came out more than 5 minutes after the rest of the dishes. My co-diner's food, tempura veggies and Asian soup. The tempura was not very warm. The server was responsive with water and helpful in other ways.

Thankyou Doc, most generous and thoughtful daughter as ever for treating us to this Mothers Day buffet.Luckily they started seating parties earlier than 4:30 pm because the weather was iffy and we brought our umbrellas.Tables were set with white table cloths, red cloth napkins, two roses with babies breath in a tiny glass vase.Live music added to the atmosphere. Very glad we were seated outside and socially distanced from the indoor crowd. The two pretty young ladies rotating around our outdoor tables were very cordial, one got our crab shell openers and the other one filled our water glasses. One manager manned the reception podium. Another manager, Alex informed the tables when they could head to the buffet.Alex was super helpful in settling our tab that Doc had pre-arranged. He was majorly professional and went above and beyond til it was taken care of.Being outside was perfect for fresh air, and the view. You just needed to contend with a few flies drawn by the food. The menu was well planned out and although it included crab legs and prime rib my palate needed more flavor. Possibly it was not piping hot. I didn't take the butter or the au jus/ horseradish and I should have. Dessert: there were only four kinds that were tiny and cut into inch and a half sized cubes; they looked great but perhaps 2 more would have been better like bread pudding or custard pie or jello or a chocolate chip cookie. For $99 per adult you would think it would include iced tea or coffee but none included.Atmosphere=1 starMusic=1 starAlex and 2 female employees=2 starsThanks again Doc!

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We went for an office lunch and we were in and out in under 90 minutes despite how busy the restaurant was. The crispy pata was delicious and the oxtail soup hit the spot.
