Waianae Market

Surprisingly good local store in Waianae.  Picked up some mochi and ubae cookies this time.  The cookies were great, and cost less than directly from Ubae.  Go figure. It's a small market but has all necessities for a vacation stay

Market's still there behind Burger King, Starbucks and Jamba. Vendor today mentioned the market takes place in that location every Saturday morning except the last Saturday of the month when the area is used for food distribution. A few rows of tents with some plant vendors, fresh produce, some specialty type meat/fish vendors, acai bowls, and artsy kine things. Was happy to have my first lychee of the summer today.

Couple of dozen stalls (+/-) located in the parking lot behind Starbucks and Burger King which operates Saturday mornings from 8am to noon. You can find people selling fresh produce, jewellery, soaps, honey, food, flowers and more. If you're in the area it's a fun way to spend half an hour.
