It says, No Parking Access Aisle. Guess some don't like following parking rules.
How are you going to enforce the rules when you busy breaking the law and smoking..ugh..stink.

Waianae Mall Shopping Center. (3 stars). This is a mall that people come to for last minute shopping or because they live near. I am a person of the latter. The mall is right down the street from where I live so I find myself running here all the time! This is definitely not a mall I would go to "just to shop" as the businesses here are very very limited in what they offer. This mall has a 5$ (Starbucks), Burger King, Subway, Little Caesar's Pizza, Jeans Warehouse, Radio Shack, Chinese Take Out, Korean Take Out &a Sushi, American Savings Bank, Bank of Hawaii, Church that sells Dave's Ice Cream, Longs (24 hours), and City Mill to name a few.I normally come here to go to City Mill and Longs! These two stores usually carry what I need so I don't have to drive 12 miles to Kapolei everyday!!While it would be nice to get a Target or Walmart or Costco in Waianae I know that will never happen but I can hope can't I!!???

Finally, Waianae Mall is starting to look pretty decent. After majority of the parking lot in completion and the big trees gone...there's no hidden speed bumps or more bird droppings on vehicles. The mall has been a place to hang out, dine-out, emergency last minute shopping and places of good local businesses. There's a EV parking in the back, located by Sun's Laundromat. A nice mix of local eateries from American, Korean, Chinese, Local and your typical franchise restaurants. On the weekends there's events and activities for families, especially around the holidays.

The trip up and down the Waianae coast was pretty cool, checking out the scene on a brisk Saturday morning in April 2017. I ended up at the Waianae Mall for eating options and to check the mall out. It was a nifty experience, but then again...For all intensive proposes, it was a way to leave Honolulu and just enjoy the rest of what Oahu has to offer. I knew I wanted to check this mall out, just because it's basically the last vestige of commercialism before hitting Makaha and Kaena Point further north. To the east, Kapolei would be the big hot spot. In between Waianae and Kapolei, is basically Koolina, Nanakuli, and Maili, which are essentially residential neighborhoods - along with the resort properties on the coast. Most of the community would come here because it is the closest thing to a mall to get daily essentials and to have a place to just hang out or whatever without having to drive to Kapolei. For what it's worth though, the Waianae Mall does have ways to go and definitely could use a spruce up here and there. You may want to take your kids here, but keep them close in hand. For the most part though, the Waianae Mall does have its perks, but it's a general community mall for those who work and live in Waianae, Makaha, and Nanakuli. The overall experience here at the Waianae Mall was that of convenience. I was here for a pitstop from a morning of traveling on TheBus and playing some Pokémon Go here on the west side of Oahu. The mall carries decent amount of merchants, so that's a good thing really. They have the basic familiar stores you've come to know and love, like Longs Drug stores (CVS Pharmacy). There is a cluster of eateries here, as well as fast food options for those of us who are ballin' on a budget and need that value for the price we pay for meals on the go. For the most part though, the Waianae Mall is basically open air and a basically like Hawaii Kai Towne Center, where it's like a strip mall in a lot of ways with multiple buildings strung together to look like a commercial center of shops and other merchants showcasing their wares and services. Many long time merchants are here to serve you, but there is always room for those who want to set up shop here in Waianae. Good local businesses are here at the Waianae Mall for your convenience and the mall itself is pretty much centrally located, right off the main artery. You can't miss it at all. Waianae Mall shopping center is located at 86-120 Farrington Highway in the heart of Waianae. Many merchants here accept credit card payments for their services, so check with each individual tenants for their payment policies. The mall itself seems small, compared to others around the island, but this mall has a lot of heart and community support. To me though, if you are not living or working in the area, there is no use to be here. It's always great to explore and discover new places, even in your back yard. The Waianae Mall has plenty of parking here for y'all who drive. For those of you who are like me, TheBus routes "C" Country Express and route 40 is basically the two routes you'd use to travel here from Ala Moana shopping Center and downtown Honolulu to come to the Waianae coast and this mall. On any given day, you could just sit here and hang out. Nothing much happens here. Life tends to slow down a little and that is a good thing. Live life at your own terms and being here in Waianae helped me see that aspect of life, even on a Saturday morning. Life's crazy this way, but you can find good places to eat here at the Waianae Mall. Plus there's a couple of banks and a handful of service oriented business here at the mall.Overall, I felt like this place did not WOW me or anything. Sorry, just your typical community mall, which services area residents. 3.5 stars. Might be in need of a major renovation work to revitalize the entire neighborhood.Support local!C+

Not the usual idea of a mall but I guess good enough for Waianae. there's a Longs Drugs in this area they have lots of eateries . they have Bank of Hawaii ,they have a church which is named Ark of Safety . there's a City Mill here and then there's a gas station Tesoro and another bank I believe it Central Pacific Bank. Nice small area. It would be better minus the panhandlers and the bums.

Zero public restroom unless you get the passcodes! This forces the public to barge their way into all the businesses looking for a restroom!!! Pretty pathetic management of this shopping center. Their security allows the same loiterers who constantly scam everyone for loose change hang around the mall benches. Nanakuli stepping up their game with a new shopping center but Waianae mall has no desire to make improvements including more restaurant options.

Oh gosh, Waianae Mall. I don't know what to do with you. I think this mall has so much potential but it needs better management and organization. Needs better events too and if the events are pulled off to be awesome then I think it could attract a lot more people.Sadly though, businesses here have a hard time trying to make it. People just don't "shop" at Waianae Mall. They come here when they need something. The best thing about this mall is the 24-hour Longs. Thank goodness, seriously. We needed that for a long long time. After hours, the only option any of us on the West Coast had to go get things was to go to one of the Wal-Marts, usually Kunia. While personally, I'm sad for no more trees in the lot (and no more shade), I am glad that the roots are no longer lifting up the parking lot pavement like crazy.Other than that I'm super glad that we have a Jeans Warehouse because what girl does not need clothes?! I hope that that's one of the stores that never shuts down. What I would like to see here in the future is more unique food places that might attract more customers. Yes, they'll be competing with existing restaurants but if a shop is unique enough and does well and has that viral characteristic on Yelp, I think it could not only survive but thrive. It's not the best mall at the moment but I hope it builds up in the future.

Ever since my bank moved to Waianae Mall I have visited this place so many times. Before there were trees around the parking lot to create shade for the cars on a sunny day but the tree trunks created makeshift speed bumps through the pavement of the parking lot. The trees are no longer around. There are more parking stalls for the customers.Waianae Mall tenants includes two banks as well as a credit union, two pizza joints, a laundromat, City Mill, Longs, Subway, Starbucks and Jamba Juice, Radio Shack, Rent a Center, Mobi, Jeans Wharehouse, Ark of Safety in the former Big Way Supermarket location, and other eateries or shops that I can't remember at this moment. LOL. I can't forget about the farmers market that's held in the parking lot behind Pizza Hut every Saturday mornings.I remembered that Blockbuster Videos was located here at Waianae Mall until they went out of business. Uncle Lani's Restaurant was here as well.....I would love to eat their poi mochi. Sadly this restaurant had closed down as well. I'm hoping more local businesses open up at the empty store fronts. That way the residents of Waianae can shop in their own town and support their community.Update: Just read in the Westside Stories community paper that Waianae Mall is turning 40 years old in February 2015. WOW....that makes the mall one year younger than me. LOL.

Low star rating today. Placed a mobile order, arrived my order was not ready, I understand they were busy this morning and waiting a few minutes is acceptable. However, when I got to my car and sipped on my iced shaken espresso was very disappointed, it looked and tasted like iced milk. I would have walked back in to have it re-made, but I can see how busy they were and it wouldn't be worth my time. Everyone that goes up Starbucks know it costs money and it is not cheap. Just a suggestion to the upper management, employees should be reminded to not rush thru orders and to be mindful of what they are doing and perhaps this kind of mishaps can be avoided.

Not much going on in this side unless you head out to Kapolei, but at least this little mall has Jeans Warehouse, Blazin' Steaks, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Long's, Goodyear Auto Service, a gas station, Rent-A-Center, BK, Subway, and Little Ceasar's. Right around the corner is the 24 hour dry cleaners.Everything in this mall is affordable.
