I can't thank this team or location enough. When no one would listen, Dr. Ashley Kong* did. I was able to find an awesome doctor in her. The whole team and everyone I've spoken to has been so helpful. They helped me find comfort, get in for an MRI and with a surgeon. They were patient with me in my wheelchair, my walker and cane. They have been consistent in their communication and support in my continuous care! I am so grateful for the support and genuine want to make sure I am back on my feet and healthy. You folks and professionals are the best! I recommend this doctor office to everyone I know!

moved here 3 years ago, established this place for my children to get check ups, sports physicals etc. every year my k da play sports i pay cash for a sports physical (make sure u bring ur own forms) it's $60. Every year i get a bill for almost 300$ do they really think I'm going to pay $300 for EPSDT charges? NOT u guys are so dumb get ur s***t together! I call complain that this was a cash payment cause the receptionist always wants me to call my insurance to pay it! We payed cash so there should be no extra charges that are not stated... everyone one here hates working only like talking story, so beware of extra charges they will always appear but don't pay them it's all bogus!!!!

I'm not sure why there are negative reviews for the Comprehensive. The staff are kind and helpful and the care you receive there is excellent! It's great that the west side has so many good doctors, registered nurses and specialists. It's also great that your records are all in their system, so if you go to a different clinic or go to a specialist, they can see all of your records so you're not constantly having to fill out paperwork everywhere you go. Yes, sometimes they're really busy, and yes, sometimes people have bad days, but you get treated with aloha at the Comp.

They'll accept new patients but the wait is ridiculously insane. Even if they're not busy, you still have to wait at least an hour to get checked.

I went in on the 12th. Dr Williams came in, listened to my lungs for a moment and decided I had bronchitis. He then prescribed me a codine cough syrup and an antibiotic. He sent over the prescriptions directly for me(I thought great :) ) well then the receptionist calls me while im at longs and tells me that I have to go back to the comp to pick up a hard copy of the prescription because it is a "controlled substance." After picking up the prescription and back out to my car I notice the dr hasn't even signed the script. So I go back in, wait for 20 min to find out the dr had already gone home, so they had to call in the script anyways(wasting my time) The antibiotic seems to be making me much sicker, I get a horrible pain in my stomach about 20 min after taking it, and its giving me the runs. So I called to see if I could switch to another antibiotic, this was now 3pm on the 14th. The receptionist said the dr or his nurses would call me back... No word from them at all. So today, noon on the 16th I called back, I'm not feeling any better. But Fridays are the drs day off.... So I won't be able to get an answer until Monday at the earliest. Looks like I'll be going to an emergency room tonight and finding a new doctor as well. Thanks Waianae comp doe your bad customer service!!

The staff is friendly and helpful. I didn't have an appointment but they squeezed me in cause of my hypertension. They were accommodating and also helped me with signing up with Quest. Hopefully I can get the medical coverage. The nurses were funny, trying to keep my mind off of being poked with a needle (I told them that I hated needles). Hopefully if I do get Quest, I will keep coming back here. Doc was quiet but very friendly and made the visit a wonderful experience since I haven't seen a doctor in over two years. Also Doc was a lot more helpful than the Urgent Care Center in Pearl City.

The people that do the Referral for your appointments are ridiculous it's been a month and a 1/2 since of asked the manager to call me back because I had mri appointment set up 3 months ago and nobody knew what was going on and when I call them to say Hey I really need my MRI i I do have a aneurism and I'm having dizzy spells and I'm going in-and-out of the ER when I went to my doctor she said she saw the MRI refer, but for some reason the girls at the referral line did not look at it and when I called for a supervisor she's like all yeah I do see it how do you guys miss MRI appointment!!!!! Also the girls were playing music in the background!! The artist was the weekend that's sad. Long story short they are a hot mess they dont look at Instructions from my doctor my doctor pacific instruction mind you this was about 3 and a 1/2 months ago she put this referral and only now I'm going to see her for what happened to my mri. I will be going higher to fight this since the manger doesnt want to call back. Because she probably saw that the MRI was there and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE MADE THE APPOINTMENT FOR MY MRI. Still till this day its just in lala land

My room mate was sent a letter stating that she missed her appointment and that someone in need could not be helped. What's funny is she called the clinic and told them that she would no longer be seeing them and cancelled her appointment two weeks prior to the scheduled session. A secondary follow up was done in person as well to inform the clinic they will no longer be attending their counseling sessions and needed to cancel all future appointments. Yet the clinic still sent out the letter with the condescending remark to someone who actually needs help. Congrats on your attention to detail and your unavailing ability to be considerate. On top of all this, the clinic states they accepted my room mates insurance and then proceeded to have a counseling session only to be told AFTER THE SESSION HAPPENED that the said insurance is no longer valid and has issued a full bill to her, again, after the fact. How are you going to charge a customer a full bill AFTER you said you accepted their insurance? False advertising and due to lack of the clinics due diligence to properly do their job now expects my room mate to pay in full. What a joke.

Today, 10/8/21, my wife and I received our Pfizer third shot buster. What a pleasure to experience such a vaccination at the Wai'anae Coast Comprehensive Health Care Center. From check in to check out the procedure was seamless. After registering on the phone, nurse Molly did some further documentation after which FEMA nurse, Eric, administered the shot. Other places we called were much more difficult to work with, not so at the WCCHC. For all those considering the Pfizer booster or the preceding two regular shots, save your time and energy and go to the west side, the BEST Side at the WCCHC.
