The sweet lady of Waiahole is delicious. It's something I would love to have every time I'm back in Oahu because it's that tasty. They have two types of ice cream. The main difference is what they put on the bottom of the delicious coconut ice cream. The sweet lady of waiahole is our favorite. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you're on your way up north in Oahu. It's always hopping here, aka it's worth it! Enjoy!

Wow, the store had upgraded since we last came here. They have a new menu board, picnic tables, and a general store. The food is just as good. We always come here on every trip. The staples to order are kalua pig, pork lau lau, sweet lady, and chicken long rice. We also take it down to Kualoa park to eat and enjoy the beautiful views. New item that we tried this time around is the Ho'io fern salad and the Po'e banana dessert. Parking is in a private lot. Casual. Great service. I love this store and this experience so much. Please come and create your own adventure.

Sweet Lady- 10/10The plate was okay. The squid luau wasn't that great. I wish it had a little bit more coconut milk in it. The Kalua pig was dry. You gotta add hella shoyu & Hawaiian salt.

Looking for some authentic Hawaiian food? Don't forget to stop here! They offer plates and bowls, as well as freshly made dessert.PARKING: There's a small dirt parking lot right by the entrance. Follow the signs and you can't miss it.ORDER: There are two windows to order food. One at the front along the street side is where you can order your hot food. The other window has a sign that says you can order your dessert there.FOOD: Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on this menu. Just don't forget to go back and order dessert after you finish your meal you won't regret it!SERVICE: Amazing individuals who work here and everyone is so friendly!SEATING: There is also seating outside. Quick reminder that it could get rainy on the side of the island so be prepared!

I was referred here by LOCALS. They said it was the "Best spot in the Island" so we came and OMG by far the best authentic hawaiian food we had. it's a small corner shop with multiple food options. there's plenty of parking in the back and you order thru a window. This has been the most flavorful authentic hawaiian food I have had in my stay. Lines normally go by quicklytheir pulled pork is so good something like i have never had. Their sweet lady desert is defenitely a new taste yet a good combination. Love the isolation and authenticity of this place.

If I'm in the area, I am going to Waiahole Poi Factory for their juicy laulau (slow-cooked luau leaves with pork and a small piece of fish), beef luau (same but cooked more with coconut milk and beef) combo with lomi lomi salmon (tomato, onion, and salmon), poi (so fresh, so ono) and haupia (sweet, so ono, love it), plus some mamaki iced tea (unsweetened is my thing) - I ate it all, all gone, no leftovers uh uh, none, all in my tummy. Mahalo nui loa! I can't wait to come back again and again!

We stopped by the Waiahole Poi Factory after visiting the nearby Byodo-In Temple. Me and my parents wanted to try a little bit of everything so we got the Kanaka Nui as a sampler set. The lau lau and kalua pork were delicious as expected. The poi was silky smooth and refreshing. The squid lu'au had a nice coconuty flavor. I just wished that the squid lu'au and the salmon lomi had a bit more pieces of the protein as I could hardly find any. We were pleasantly surprised by the chicken long rice. It's a soupy side with rice noodles in it. It had a nice familiar umami flavor that I can't quite recall where I had tasted before. I could be wrong but maybe it tasted like the Filipino Mama noodles. Lastly, the haupia dessert was a very refreshing way to end the meal.We came here in the morning as they were opening up so there was ample parking. I am glad we made the trek out there to experience this place.

We've been here many times and this is hubby's first stop for his North Shore Food tour to celebrate his birthday. We got the Kanaka Nui. It's a sampler of the local favorites and has a bit of everything, a scoop of rice, squid luau, lau lau, kalua pig, chicken long rice, lomi lomi salmon and haupia. Everything was excellent! Great local food with fresh ingredients. It's not overly salty too and I just love all their flavors.Hubby also got an extra plate of lau lau, lomi lomi salmon and poi. Poi was notably fresh and not sour. For dessert, our all-time favorite here is the Sweet Lady of Waihole, it has thick and creamy haupia ice cream served with kulolo. While the kulolo wasn't warm this time (it's usually served warm, and that makes a difference), it was still delicious and I still enjoyed it Quick Tip: We often forget to call ahead for our order, but I highly recommend doing so since the line can get long. That said, service here is always friendly and quick, even when it's busy.I really love this store and their foods. They also now have some benches to sit and dine-in. Highly recommend!

The Waiahole Poi Factory seems to be a local favorite, especially for their luau.We came here for lunch, and while walking up, you can see a couple of the employees, making poi by hand. You order around the building, and then you wait until your order is called at the pickup window - we tried:+the Combo Plate - opting for the Squid Luau and the Chicken Long Rice, served with lomi salmon, haupia, and a choice between poi or rice (we opted for the latter)I was just not a fan of the luau - there wasn't much squid in there, and the green 'sauce' just wasn't flavorful or enjoyable; the chicken long rice was actually tasty, as it was similar to a chicken soup with vermicelli noodles - I wished there were more chicken in there, though. The lomi salmon was kind of like a pico de gallo with small chunks of smoked salmon, which was interesting; the salmon was slightly fishy, though. The haupia was like a coconut jelly, and it had good flavor. We initially received an incorrect order, as they gave us a huge portion of the kalua pig; just check your order(s) for inaccuracies.Wooden picnic tables are available, as there is only outside seating available.I was surprised that their restroom was actually clean and decent, so don't be scared! There is a small lot, as well as side street parking available. +Chicken Long Rice+check of inaccurate order(s)+outdoor seating available

We came over the weekend to eat here as we had a couple chances to go but skipped out on it the last couple months.Parking is tight but we were able to park. Line was long for the lunch rush but it went pretty quick. We ordered a single plate of laulau and poi and the kanaka nut plate which was probably like 3 minI orders in one. We also ordered two sweet lady of waiaholes, a single and a double scoop. We ate our desserts first outside on the benches. We really love this dessert and kulolo but today kulolo was not warm. This dessert is best when you get the warm kulolo and cold ice cream on top.The plates we took back to the hotel and ate there. The laulau is arguably the best I have on the island. They fed us well and will come back again when we get the craving.
