Great food and great service from staff. I came here to a yell elite event with my sister and I am not being biased they truly do offer amazing açaí bowls. Waffle and Berry is located on the other end of Waikiki Shopping plaza down the stairs near the street road. I love how aesthetic it feels. The ambiance is great!

OH MY GOD! This place is absolutely WORTH HAVING BREAKFAST AT NIGHT! So delicious! And the portions are absolutely ASTOUNDING!!!! Worth the cost and the taste of the waffle was delicious on its own too! I'd love to come back again! What I especially loved about this place was the photos he has up on the walls. For those of you who knows about Uncle Soma's Famous Amos cookies... THEN YOU were lucky to have had a visit in school from him, didn't you!? Anywho, the owner has photos of himself working with Uncle Amos, whose cookies were delicious too! So, off topic here... BACK in the 80's, uncle Amos would visit elementary schools to read his story about uncle Soma. It was HIS STORY of his cookies. He'd then pass out one cookie per student. I was kind of a "distracted" child and couldn't sit still, keep quiet & stay focused. Back then, they didn't call it A.D.D. Or A.D.H.D. They just called it "BAD BEHAVIOR" Therefore, if your name was on the board, you wasn't suppose get a Cookie or ANY reward for that matter. I... would ALWAYS have my name on the board. Yet, somehow... he still managed to give me one instead. My teachers knowing that I wasn't suppose to get one would give that "stink eye" look at me & say "Birdie... your names on the board. Do you deserve a cookie?" And he'd turn around to them and say... "All kids deserve at least one of uncle Soma's Famous Amos Cookies." I was so embarrassed, I'd hide my cookie in my hand and eat it on the side when the teacher wasn't looking. LOL! Only because one teacher actually took my cookie away and said I'd get it back after class & never gave it to me. Of course over the years, I grew out of it & just behaved when I knew he'd come. Point is... this owner was fortunate enough to know Uncle Amos & work along side him. Which means... he knows what he's doing and this thing he's got going, IN MY OPINION... IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH TRYING! That's is if your are an açaí, fruit loving, waffle eating kind of person.IF NOT... I'd suggest staying away and sharing this place with others who WOULD like it. Prices are average. WORTH IT THO! I'd say carry at least a $20. Enough to get a dish and tip. Maybe 2 small dishes or sides and tip. It's large enough to split it with someone or few someones. I DID! These few someones were 3 little rugrats who devoured my dish! Of course AFTER I had several bites FIRST! Quick run down. The interior is calming and classy but with homely look. The ambience is quite quiet. Perhaps I came a little late but, I think it was only that way because of their location. You see, they should be on the STREET LEVEL. With the way the place is set up and with all the room he has, he could be busy all day! But because it's actually on the basement level, makes it hard to foot traffic. So by posting our reviews, I hope this gives a better idea of what they're like so it invites everyone to try it!And me, I'm not one to lie about my thoughts! If it's terrible or bad, I'll say it! But, I'll try my best to be nice about it. This place is worth the cost and the travel. Unfortunately for now, there is no access to this place by escalator or elevator. We don't know WHY, but, you can ONLY **ACCESS this Waffle & Berries by walking down the stairs to the basement of Waikiki Trade Center. And NO... I don't mean like a basement, basement. It's what they refer to that lower level beneath the street level. (FUN FACT: There use to be an escalator AND elevator access to this level back in the early 2000's. But because they closed up shop beneath, they shut down those accessibility to the public.)Now there's only 2 sides that has stair access to that lower level & you must enter on the ROYAL HAWAIIAN SIDE for this restaurant. If you're on SEASIDE AVE., you'd have to cut thru the lobby of WTC to the other side and take those stairs down. You CANNOT take the stairs down on SEASIDE AVE and think you can cut across underneath because it's CLOSED OFF!! (Don't know for how long or if they WILL OPEN IT LATER. But for now as of today (01/2025) it is closed!)**You must make your way to the ROYAL HAWAIIAN side street and walk down the stairs on that side of WTC & there you are, BOOM! Front door on your left at the very bottom of the stairs! As I said... basement refers to the level. That's all. So don't be afraid to go!In fact, right side is this Lobster Roll place. And OH MY GOD! That place is super yummy too! HIGHLY RECCOMMEND & be sure to HAVE MONEY. They charge by the market price for the day. It could be as low as $15 and as high as $50. You'd have to see what they price at. Anywho, go HERE for BREAKFAST & eat there for lunch! If I could, I'd GO BACK to BOTH PLACES if I had the money to spend so easily. OH... perhaps I'll return when I do my TAX RETURNS this year. MAYBE. lol! But yes... please please go atry then out. Otherwise thank you for reading and have a good one! Tah-tah

Adorabe little spot in the heart of the Waikiki district. Tried the Acai bowl and the Peanut Butter Strawberry Waffle with ice cream. WOW! Acai bowl you add your own amount of toppings--granola, cocoanut flakes, chia seeds and such. Flavors were quite good, prices a bit higher than expected but then again, with inflation and all, their prices are just a little higher than average. $18 for Acai Bowl, $19 for the peanut butter Strawberry waffle. Service is good, we went when it wasn't too crowded. LOTS of sitting, eating space. Great location even if a bit hidden. Love their little videos on how to find them. Perfect.

The waffle was 4.5/5! Made fresh, hot when served and delicious. I would recommend the peanut butter banana with ice cream! I can't wait to go back and try the other waffles! The staff were sweet and kind. Plenty of seating, but everyone's here to try their amazing waffles, so you might have to wait. It's worth it!I would say going around 9:30/10am. We didn't have to wait long. Theres plenty of seating.I also liked how the staff were quick to turn over tables for the next guests. As for the acai bowl and it was a 3/5. It was a frozen base, just blended? I love a smooth textured base and this wasn't it for me. I'm not sure, but I did like how they had a toppings station and I added coconut, goji berries and granola.

Waffle and Berry has stolen my heart with their Berries and Cream Waffles! This is a delectable masterpiece. The waffle is perfection--warm, golden, and just the right mix of crispy and fluffy. It's topped with an abundance of fresh, juicy berries that taste like they were picked at peak ripeness. And then comes the ice cream. Creamy, rich, and slightly melting all over the warm waffle. Each little square of the waffle holds a piece of fruit in a pool of yummy ice cream. The homemade whipped cream is the perfect complement to the fresh berries and adds a luxurious touch to every bite. The balance of flavors and textures is unmatched. It's sweet but not overly so, and the freshness of the fruit makes it feel indulgent yet light. I'm not a fan of super sweet food or drinks. This waffle is perfect for my taste. However, if you like your bite sweet, there's a cup of powdered sugar on the side. I really appreciate how you can adjust the sweetness of your food to your preference here. Perfection! Every bite feels like a celebration for your taste buds! The staff at Waffle and Berry are always so friendly and welcoming, and the space has a bright, cozy vibe that makes you want to linger. Whether you're treating yourself or sharing with someone special, the Berries and Cream Waffles are an experience you don't want to miss.Cali is Mr Aloha and his crew are his rays of sunshine. This place is a must-visit, and this dish is a must-try. Would you rather have chocolate instead? Don't worry, there are so many scrumptious waffles combos, açaí bowls and drinks to try. Everyone will find something that they love. Five stars isn't enough. Waffle and Berry deserves all the praise!Lower level of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza.Easy parking.Monday - Thursday 8am - 2pmFriday - Sunday 8am - 8pm

I've known this owner from humble beginnings before he launched his business! He opened his establishment at Ohana Hale in Ward area. This place is brightly lighted and roomy to hold a party ! It's average noise level and inviting. Looks like I have to bring the Ohana Hale gang since I know where he is and parking at Royal Hawaiian Mall is reasonable with first hour free and $3 for second hour! However, you either eat at one of the restaurants to get the discount in the mall, then go over for desserts! This is the spot to be for the tourist to cool off after being at the beach!!!The Açaí bowl is awesome filled with fruits and additional toppings to boot. It's filled with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granolas, coconut, and chocolate pieces. Hallelujah! Heaven on earth...Ciao!!!

One word: Amazing!Ordered the Peanut Butter Banana Waffle and gf got the Berries & Cream Waffle. Perfect combo- waffles, fruit and ice cream for breakfast! A must eat place! It was so good that conversation momentarily stopped as we indulged in it - Hehe! Casual setting. Good food & service. You order at counter and find a table. Server checks on you and busses tables. Fun Fact: This place is hidden downstairs (basement) in the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. Lots of other great food options nearby in sort of a food court maze so you can go exploring! Tip: We parked at Ross's store parking garage a block away on Seaside Ave (formerly Waikiki theater parking) where you can get 2 hours free parking with any purchase at Ross's no matter how cheap.

These are some very tasty waffles! The portions are large and the flavor is amazing. I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy a waffle at 5 PM in the afternoon, but boy was I wrong. We went back two or three times in the week that we were in Oahu. Decor-4/5 stars. Not much to the decor, but some beautiful pictures and large windows. It's tucked down a set of stairs underground that leads into some other food spots. Plenty of seating and comfortable chairs.Service-4/5 stars. Friendly staff that greeted us with a smile.Food-5/5 stars. The waffles are the star of the show, and they did not disappoint. The waffle itself is very nice, flavorful, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The ice cream is very sweet, and 2 large scoops and fresh fruit finish off this waffle. We really enjoyed it and went back several times during our stay.Well done guys!!
