I went to visit the Vue Hawaii at Pearlridge today 6-7-2018 and there was a young Japanese salesgirl sitting down, and did not welcome me and did not say a word! Nothing, not even say may I help you! I am a local person & have not see this store for a long time! I used to shop at this store. Now it has mostly warm clothes and too thick material. Before they had all kinds of soft & cool clothes. I gave this store a one star cuz the sales clerk was ignoring a customer coming inside. So I did not have no interest shopping there! Bye bye, Aloha, Mahalo! No class & will not shop over there!

I purchased 3 items about 3 years ago and I am I did. For me personally....the garment designs and colors are eminent and high-end eye candy. "Casual Elegance". I wish I could afford to shop there on a regular basis. However, not only is the Kahala store still open, but I saw recently a store is in the Pearl Ridge shopping center ( been there about a year ) and this means to me that their clientele has expanded probably for a variety of good reasons. I wish this store well.

I like to come in here for funny locally designed t-shirts that make great gifts for the guys. They also carry those big spam musubi/saimin/shave ice pillows if you're looking for a cute grad gift. The owner is always nice and helpful!

Japanese inspired ladies clothing. Small amount of similar themed accessories that might make good small gifts. Small amount of men's t-shirts, though nothing special (3 stars because I recognize I'm not the target customer!).

Chonate (salesperson) is very "pushy" to make sales - - almost to a point of harassment. She don't leave customers alone to make their own choices. She was supposed to give me the discount on a cotton $42 blouse but didn't so I had to go back and have her make the correction! She is too anxious to make sales and go to the next customer. She does not treat people the way she would want to be treated. When I told her that the owner is going to hear about this and I was doing to do a review on Yelp --she says "that's fine!" She has a bad attitude and I will never shop at Vue again! She is too irritating!

Stopped in on a recent vacation to check out non-chainstore island wear. Sales associate Carolyn made some great suggestions and I tried a new style...loose tunic over leggings for the first time. Clothing designed locally and manufactured in Thailand from 100% cotton...very artsy and flowy.
