Having recently gotten married but with no engagement photos, I searched high and low for a reputable photographer on Instagram. Eventually I ended up on Vivid Fotos Instagram page (@vivid_fotos) and fell in love with their work. Their pictures were absolutely amazing and the owners seemed like genuine people.I messaged them and the owner Melissa responded right away and answered my questions. We agreed on two locations and a date. Little did I know the covid lockdown was right around the corner. We ended up having to reschedule. Melissa was open to rebooking when the state and we were ready. Over a year and a half later or so, I finally emailed her again and told her we were ready so we set a new date. The day of the shoot, another company I had booked for hair and makeup failed to show and instead sent a free lancer in their place. Because of such, we were 20/30 min late in meeting Melissa but she didn't miss a beat and got started right away when we arrived. We felt awkward in many of the shots so I honestly wasn't expecting to love the photos. However 2 weeks later (although she had quoted 3-4 I believe) she emailed me the photos and I was in shock. They were so perfect!!!! I can't stop looking at them every single day. I would definitely recommend booking with vivid Fotos. Besides knowing what they are doing , I also love how the owner takes ownership (lol) of the entire process and is the one communicating and working with you throughout. Melissa is very easy to talk to and work with ! Thank you Melissa!!!

Melissa was fantastic! We were fortunate enough to have Vivid shoot our wedding ceremony at the Halekulani Hotel. Her and her team was so easy to work with. So far, we only received our preview album, but ALL the pictures were fantastic. I cannot wait to see the rest of the photographs. I would highly recommend VividFotos to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

VIVIDFotos is awesome! When we reached out to them, we were thick in the tumultuous world of COVID days, haggardly planning amidst our third date change. We needed another photographer, and VIVIDFotos was accomodating and understanding of our request. They were also flexible with our various changes, be it switching venues, adding on a last-minute hour of photography, or dealing with sudden outdoor gathering restrictions!On the day of the wedding, Melissa was fantastic. When the shooting location we originally planned on taking photos in fell through, she thought of another place for us to take photos. Though neither me or the groom have posed much for pictures before, she managed to get us and the wedding party comfortable and loosened up through all the photos. She also captured every detail of the day of, from stills of the decor to candids of the reception! When we received the photos, we were floored by how beautiful it all looked, as well as how promptly we received them! We absolutely recommend VIVIDFotos to capture your wedding!

The Vivid Foto's Team is the best! I first saw their portfolio from A Perfect Day's workshops. Their style of photography is unique and signature edits are amazing! From the moment I contacted them via their site, Melissa has been excellent in responding to emails. I arranged to meet with Melissa and Crysta for a complimentary initial meeting, we talked about their wedding packages, edits, details, etc. and went over other options. They showed me some photos and a sample wedding guestbook with photos from another couple's engagement shoot. I knew at that moment, we needed to hire them!We added on an engagement shoot as well, giving us an opportunity to become comfortable with being photographed (and to learn various lovey-dovey poses). We scheduled our engagement shoot about 6 months prior to our wedding, which also happens to be prime holiday season! Melissa and Balbino arrived just before us and texted us that they were there. Melissa took care of the permit while we chatted with Balbino. Both were so nice and made us feel super comfortable. They taught us typical, fun playful, and lovey-dovey poses, giving us positive reinforcements throughout the entire time! It took about 3 weeks (again, during prime holiday season) to get our all our "lightly edited" photos back. Melissa was so accommodating to our busy schedule since my now husband, and I were both unable to make any of the dates and times she proposed. She offered to meet us in town, brought us headsets and played a short video of our shoot. Every photo was beautiful, even the ones I thought weren't going to look amazing somehow did!We also ended up ordering a "Well Wishes" guestbook for our wedding with photos from our engagement shoot. Crysta was so helpful when going back and forth making changes to photos, wording, fonts, etc. The site they use is extremely user friendly and will allow you to make suggestions, comments and finalize the entire book prior to it being ordered.During our wedding day, they arrived right on time and went to work capturing all my bridal details and the two of us getting ready. We did a father/daughter first look, a bride/groom first look, portraits of bride and groom and (tons of) family photos. Melissa and Crysta were so accommodating and patient with our big group photos and were so generous with their time.About a week after our wedding, we were sent a preview of about 15 photos, a nice surprise to keep the wedding bliss going. Then about a month later, Mel contacted us to get together. She presented us with another short video and a thumb drive with all of our 600 something edited files and a stack of 4x6 photos in a beautiful box. From the moment we hired them, I just knew they were the right fit for us! Throughout the time we've known them, we received encouraging and thoughtful cards and emails, as well as holiday greetings and a big thank you card just after our wedding day. Everything they do is beautifully presented and the overall experience is absolutely amazing! We will treasure this experience and these photos, FOREVER!

It was so great to work with Mel and Crysta!! When it came time to find a wedding photographer my husband and I met with lot of different people and when we met with the Vivid Team we knew right away they were the ones for us. During our first initial meeting you can tell they really cared about us, wanted to know us feel our vibe and most importantly it didn't feel forced like some of the other people we met with. They genuinely cared and we could tell. We did our engagement shoot and they made us feel so comfortable and the process so easy. My husband is not into these types of things and they made it really fun!! AND me being the absolute most last minute bride asked them about 2 hours after our shoot how fast I could get pics for our save the date cards. AND YOU KNOW WHAT, they sent me pics like a day later!!!!! And it gets better! Unfortunately my big wedding I spent years planning and thousands of dollars on (shh we can't tell my husband the real numbers) got canceled due to Covid-19. So instead we had a really intimate small ceremony at my sisters beach house and the Vivid Team was so so so kind enough to send someone to capture that moment. They didn't have to but they did. I cried tears of joy. When everything was falling apart they stepped in and made it feel like a real wedding and for that my husband and I are truly so grateful for them. Now we are excepting a baby and of course we chose to do all future shoots with them!! Melissa, Crysta and the entire Vivid Team Family thank you so much for what you've done for us. We tell everyone we ever come across about your work ethic, generosity, and how fun and easy it is to work with you all!!!!!!!!

Melissa and Balbino were the best wedding vendors! It started from when I made my first inquiry on their website. I recall submitting it late Saturday night, hoping to get a reply by early next week... but Melissa emailed me that night! This is how our relationship has been since. They are always quick to respond and are on top of it.It's really important to feel comfortable with your photographers since they are basically glued to you the entire wedding day. For most of us, we are not used to having a camera in our face for more than a few minutes of day, nonetheless for 8+ hours. We opted for the package that included 8 hours and videography with another local company (10th Letter Media), recommended by VividFotos. Our package included an Engagement session that we had about 8 months before our wedding. Balbino was laying and sometimes crawling on the sand to get those magnificent shots. We used the amazing pictures for our Save the Date Cards.Even the in between time leading up to the wedding, Melissa was in contact with us checking in on us. The week before the wedding, they event sent us a HANDWRITTEN CARD WITH A STARBUCKS GIFTCARD! They told us to go have a cup of coffee on them - without talking/stressing about the wedding. How thoughtful! Even though our package included 8 hours, Melissa and her team spent near 10 hours I would say on our wedding. All the pictures were amazing, and even made the shots with rain look spectacular. When the pictures were ready, Melissa made an amazing slideshow of the pictures. She also developed about 150 of the pictures and put them in this cute box with their fancy USB drive (with all the pictures). VividFotos not only takes great pictures, but their presentation is great! They go all out on the packing - from start to finish - great experience. Even with all my comments and edits to our wedding album - Melissa was quick to respond and make the changes. I just picked up the album last weekend and it is perfect! We got our wedding pictures proofs in less than 2 months and the finished album in about 3.5 months from the wedding. Talk about efficient!I would recommend VividFotos to anyone looking for a wedding photographer - or even for other photo sessions. I wish Melissa and Balbino the best in all their future endeavors. *Since we hired them, they have expanded to have their own videography and photobooth business. Book them for all!

Melissa was a pleasure to work with, and we love her photos! Melissa is a pro with a great eye and a keen sense of composition. She truly captured the joy of our wedding day in stunning detail. The photos are beautiful, with many to choose from to frame. We'll be able to relive the memories of our special day in the coming years.

Where do I even start? From the first time I inquired with Melissa about what is offered for photography and videography, for my wedding...She was quick to respond to my e-mail, and any questions I had. We had a zoom meeting, sent me over a quote, and from there I knew I wanted to hire her and her team for my husband and my special day! Months leading up to the wedding, she was always on it with answering any questions I had, or followed up with me on specific things. I even asked if they were able to create a video with interviews from our bridal party. Let me tell you, it came out so BEAUTIFUL, and we loved how it was incorporated into our same day edit! The day of the wedding, from start to finish; Melisa and the rest of the team were so amazing, friendly, and made things so easy and smooth! Thank you so so much for being awesome, and I'm speechless to how our beautiful photos turned out. Let alone our videos!!! Absolutely would highly recommend
