Were my review based solely on the ladies' attitudes and personalities, I'd give them more than 1 star... HOWEVER, my wedding experience with them summed up in one word was: disappointing. My family is huge and all hands were on deck that day. My one request from Vida Chic and Chavah Grant that I re-iterated a dozen times was that it was MOST important that my family do as MINIMUM set up and MINIMUM break down as possible. This shouldn't have been difficult since absolutely everything was organized in detail to the 't' and they still would have had many helping hands regardless. When I say "organized", I mean ORGANIZED OCD LEVEL. Everything was delivered and ready in clear containers that were clearly labeled with everything in them, ready for set up. We had a detailed timeline that everyone had copies of. It was foolproof which should have allowed my family - namely, my OWN MOM and aunties- to just sit back and enjoy the wedding. This couldn't happen because nothing would have gotten done. I paid Vida Chic for day-of assistance which we still had meetings to prepare for and it seemed as though they understood my expectations. Come the day of, Chavah Grant who was SUPPOSED to be present as she had been my only point of contact, was NOT present for the wedding at all. She left everything to two (nice but unprepared) ladies who had no real idea of what we had discussed apparently. I can't even get upset with them since I never had an opportunity to meet with THEM to tell them what I wanted them to be responsible for. Specifically, all I asked for was:- the tables set up with the runner and centerpiece-the runners and centerpieces put back in boxes afterward-the aisle runner and the signs be layed down and then put away- the candy items for the candy table be set up and taken down- help my family accomplish this...Seeing my family hustle they even TOLD ME "yeah wow! Your family's got everything covered!" No kidding, Sherlock!! They didn't have a choice!!! All in all, I would never use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. When we called Chavah after the wedding to let her know that we weren't thrilled with the service, she was "surprised" since she heard "it all went so smoothly" and she made excuses for their not delivering what was honored in the contract. No attempt to even apologize was made. Of course it went smoothly!! My mom and aunties made sure of that but had they left it to Vida Chic, it would have been a mess!! Look elsewhere for your wedding needs. I can't speak for other events.

I have experienced Chavah's work first hand and let me tell you... SHE. IS. AMAAAAAZING! I call her ''The Modern Day Renaissance Woman.'' She is a wedding coordinator, a stylist, AND a florist! Talk about hitting a trifecta! Her work speaks for itself.She is soooo talented, not to mention... she is the easiest, most sweetest person to work with! She is always super busy so you're lucky if you can book her! Whether you are going for a classy/elegant, rustic, or boho chic wedding, she will make your event look absolutely stunning!!

Chavah was amazing throughout the entire process of planning a wedding. Our day was absolutely perfect. Our guests continually commented about how "on top of things" Chavah was throughout the wedding day. Prior to, Chavah helped with vendor recommendations, payments, tracking down invoices, creating stationary templates, florals, timeline, and other details we would have missed. Yes, she is super busy, but always came through to execute. She was also very understanding of my need to change my mind on rentals, florals, etc. The day of my wedding, before guest arrival, I walked through the reception area and fell in love with everything. The welcome table was perfect, bar decorated super cute, seating chart and reception table seating exactly how I had requested. She was super fun and sweet and I would highly recommend her services. We miss her already! Thank you Chavah! xx

Chavah and Julie were THE BEST!!!I always wondered why people would hire a wedding planner... well.. guess what... I found out!!She organized everything, kept in touch with me, had a fab online site to coordinate me and all my vendors... and that was all before the big day. I absolutely could not have done it without her the day of the wedding! She helped get my guests on base (my dad is military and had our wedding on Hickam AFB), she decorated, she directed, she took care of little issues that ALWAYS come up... and... she did it with grace, style and a huge smile. After all was said and done, she cleaned up and returned things for me to get my deposits back.I can't say enough about her and her amazing team. Classy lady...Classy company.Well done!!

Emailed them end of March for assistance and haven't heard back. Its April 9th. I am a project manager by profession so I really didn't think I needed a wedding planner or day of coordinator. That being said I could not be more thankful I hired Chavah and her team to help for my special day. I never thought having a destination wedding would be so difficult, but Chavah and her team were ready for anything anyone (vendors, weather, life) threw at me. They were a few steps ahead of me every step of the day. Not only were they amazing at communicating, they also had an awesome online program we used to communicate (tasks, budgets, timelines, etc). I am SO HAPPY I hired Vida Chic for the special day (wedding planning + florals), if you're on the fence - make the call and hire them. You won't regret it.

Chavah recommended wonderful vendors for our hair/makeup and rentals. She was also great about being hands on to take out the trash after the wedding.Besides that, I can't say that having Vida Chic as our day-of coordinator relieved my stress by any means. Planning this wedding from Denver and being very Type A, I would have appreciated much better communication from them. A simple email saying "X got done" or "Here's the timeline we drafted" goes such a long way in terms of relieving a bride's anxiety and stress...which you'd think a professional would understand. Honestly, I put together the layout, timeline, everything anyway, and it would have been so much less stressful for me to simply do it all myself instead of waiting...and waiting...and waiting for Vida Chic to give me anything.If I hadn't been so Type A and had everything that needed to get done written out and if I hadn't had such amazing family and friends helping us on the day of, there is no way Chavah and her "assistant" would have been able to execute everything. As it was, Gentry, her actual assistant, came to our rehearsal, but told us that she wouldn't be helping on the day of. Then...why bother coming?? And who does Chavah bring in her assistant's place? Her mother. I have a feeling that if Gentry had been able to assist that day, some things would have gone smoother...like the 300 loose white orchids I ordered would have been put out on the tables with the centerpieces instead of being left in the fridge all night...the chairs would have been brought up from the ceremony lawn during cocktail hour (instead of my cousins realizing they still didn't have seats right before dinner and having to bring them up themselves)...tables would have actually been released promptly for dinner. As it was, I was told that I wouldn't have to lift a finger. I knew that wouldn't be the case and I was fine with that, but it is extremely annoying to pay for that extra help and then find out day of that your coordinator's mom expects you, the bride, to take the chairs down to the ceremony site and such when you could be doing other things like putting out those dang flowers!I do not feel like having Vida Chic as our day-of coordinator was worth it. I felt like they were too busy to treat us like we deserved to be treated and made to feel like a priority, and even having as much help as we did on the day of, we felt like they dropped the ball on executing our vision and making our day special for us.

I had my wedding on 4/6/19 - planned with Chavah. We did the partial-planning but nothing about it felt partial. Chavah went over and above for my Wife and I. From the updated check-lists online throughout each week, to the monthly, then weekly, then daily calls. It took A LOT of the pressure off of my wife and I could not have been happier about it. Our wedding turned out picture perfect thanks to Chavah and the hard-work of her team. I would HIGHLY recommend her for all of your wedding needs.
