Delivery service with Pat and Riah was great! They communicated the whole way through especially giving me a heads up that I was next on the delivery route so that I can prepare for their arrival. They delivered in the home and they organized the boxes in a way that would make it the most easiest and convenient way for me to assemble my couch on my own! Thanks for your service!!

Ive been nothing but content with my white malibu (feather filled) sofa! I was very hesitant in the beginning after finding many many bad reviews all pver the internet about this company but my sofa came on-time without any delays, the color and quality is what I was looking for. Also I have toddler and it has been very easy to keep it clean any spots comes off right away with gentle wipe (their material is stain resistant) i didnt even get the ultra stain resistant option but it has been holding so well! People who wrote it gets in a bad shape after a while definitely dont know how take care of a feather filled sofa you have to maintain it and FLUF it, rotate it, move around the feather often and it comes back to FULL looking like new!. Please google "how to take care of feather sofas" people! Also if it gets flat later on i think you could order extra feathers from them. Do not get it wet obviously because the feathers will clump together and that is why Everything comes off and is machine washable! My sofa came all the way from this location and thats why Im writing my review here.

This place is a scam. Their marketing is incredibly misleading and their customer service is poor. We purchased the Malibu sectional and after just a few days, the couch was covered in dirt stains that would not come out. We have a dog, but we never had an issue with any other furniture or rugs with dirt or other stains. We even got a new light colored rug to match the couch, and there wasn't a single mark on it even though it is right in front of the couch. The company claims this couch is stain resistant, and we even paid the $100 to get the "ultra stain resistant" treatment. This fabric is NOT stain resistant, in fact, it seems to ABSORB dirt, and it is very difficult to remove, and even impossible in some spots. After 5 days, we tried to contact the company because we assumed the fabric must be defective, but they don't even have a phone number to call! You have to text them, and they text you back, red flag right there. We let them know what happened, and they basically told us we must be dirty and there's nothing wrong with the couch. I showed them pictures of our other furniture and rugs that our dog goes on without any dirt marks, and they still claimed their couch is stain resistant. They said that we could not return the couch, but we could purchase custom covers, and they offered a 30% discount. This is where it gets even worse...When we purchased the couch in early November 2024, we were concerned about the lighter color, but the salesperson in the Honolulu store assured us that the fabric is stain resistant, but we could always purchase custom covers for $200/piece if we changed our mind. Everything at the store was 20% off at the moment, so we thought it would be good to buy them at the same time. The salesperson recommended AGAINST purchasing the custom covers now because we could wait until after we purchase the couch, and we could use the rewards points from that purchase towards the custom covers during the next sale. Fast forward to end of December 2024 (couch took over a month and a half to get delivered) and we received the couch and had the staining issues. We went back down to the Honolulu store to look at the custom fabric, and the salesperson told us that none of custom fabrics are stain resistant. On top of that, the same salesperson who told us to wait to buy the custom covers a month and a half ago told us the cost of the custom covers went up 50% to $300/piece!! We ask customer service if they would honor their original price and they said no. Another big red flag!! So at this point we paid $3k for a stain resistant couch covered with stains that's only a week old, and our only option is to pay $1,500 more to get custom covers that are not even stain resistant. But wait, it gets even worse...When we got to the Honolulu store to pick out the fabric, we noticed three new colors for the Malibu! Wtf! We had no idea that there would be more options a month after buying it, and the salesperson was completely silent when we talked at length about concerns with getting the light colored couch (but remember, he assured us that it was "stain resistant" so no need to worry). Ok, we chalked it up to bad timing, so we inquired about purchasing just the covers from the new colors since they were darker and maybe would hide some of the stains. They originally said no, we would have to buy the whole couch to get the new covers. After several days of negotiating and prying, they finally agreed to sell us the covers from the new color for all five pieces AND the throw pillows. They sent us an invoice and we paid it, billed our credit card and everything. When they told us the covers were ready for pick up, they said the pillows aren't included. Ok, so I asked when they would be ready, and the customer service rep said no, they aren't included in the order. WTF??? They sent us an invoice with the covers for all the pieces AND the pillows. We paid for the covers for all the pieces AND the pillows. Ok, so they will refund us for the pillow covers, right? Nope! They'll keep the money and send us what they have. After a few days of trying to get a hold of them to figure this out, they responded back and said that the rest of the covers are no longer available and our order was canceled. This is insane! We were flabbergasted! You sent us an invoice, we paid you money, you removed items from the order and didn't offer a refund, and then you just cancel it! After all this, they go back to their offer for 30% off custom covers (that are not stain resistant) on the new price of $300/piece, which still ends up being more than what we would've paid if we bought the custom covers with the couch like we initially planned, but their salesperson TALKED US OUT OF IT!! Exceeded character count max, so see the screenshot in the photos for the cherry on top (spoiler, our rewards expired). We should never have given this place any money, and neither should you. This company is a SCAM!

I had pretty high standards when it came to my future seating arrangement, and Valyou Furniture checked ALL the boxes. Not only did I find my dream couch with every feature I ever wanted (Feathers Sectional), but the customer service truly made the experience exceptional. Massive shoutout to Cheyne and Riah - they went out of their way to help me, were super friendly, and made the process that much smoother. Cheyne and Riah were incredibly kind (love them both), careful, and made everything feel effortless. They also gave me some useful home tips/tricks- which is awesome and well-appreciated. Maria, who sold me the couch, was equally impressive - cknowledgeable, professional, and super friendly without being pushy. I didn't expect this level of service, but it completely elevated my impression of Valyou as a brand.As for that Feathers Sectional that I got - it's incredible. It has everything I could ask for - adjustable firmness (I can add or remove feathers to customize the feel), adjustable sofa leg height, stain-proof, and a modular design that lets me rearrange the sections however I want. I snagged it during the Black Friday sale, and I'm still in awe at how affordable it was for such high quality.I'll admit, I was skeptical at first. When brands throw around the word "luxury," it can sometimes just mean a higher price tag with nothing to back it up, but nope, Valyou is the real deal. The value is insane and I honestly have no idea how I lived with my doodoo old couch for so long.If you're looking for really great sofa/couch, Valyou is a great option - if not the best in Oahu! Go to the showrooms to actually see your future couch on display, in person if you're still on the fence.

This is our second sofa purchase from Valyou Furniture. Our first purchase was the Feathers Collection sofa and ottoman - and we absolutely love them. Our guests always compliment them as well. So, it was an easy decision to return to Valyou Kapolei to add to our guest room. Again, from the start at their (new!) showroom at Kamakana Ali'i to the tracking updates (thanks Maria!) and end point delivery -- great quality and customer service for the money well spent!At delivery, Cheyne and Riah showed up to our door with much aloha and professionalism as they introduced themselves and provided us with helpful information regarding our daybed. They also worked to ensure quality and safety, along with kind care of our purchase, and even our home, as they moved about.
