I love pizza and get really picky about it. Lately, Valentina's has become a favorite due to their specials and made to order brick oven crusts. Valentina's is in the parking lot of Tap & Barrel by Lanikai Brewing Company and their main food option. So if you're a beer fan, this is a great compliment to locally made styles of beer. The kitchen is in a trailer outside, and their food is available to go whether or not you're visiting the taproom. They have a bunch of different special options, with most featuring local ingredients. A highlight is the Bee's Knees with spicy honey, pepperoni, and pesto; rich but light.Their prices are reasonable for the quality; one pizza is the perfect size for two people, or more if you're looking for a snack. The staff is great, quick to serve. If you're enjoying the taproom, you can order with your server and they'll bring it to your table. Tap & Barrel has bar seating, high tops, booths, and my favorite outdoor tables to bring the furry friends and dine al fresco. If you love pizza and are looking for something different in the Kailua area, this one is recommended.

I got the pepperoni and my husband got sausage. Not only was there hardly any cheese or flavor besides the pepperoni, the crust was not good at all. My just said his was the same.Perhaps we are too judgy because we are from the NJ/Philly area and know really good pizza, but I've had good pizza in Hawaii and this isn't or it was a bad day.

A full 5 out of 5 stars. I have lots of food allergies, so eating out can be tough. The staff knew the ingredients so well that I was able to safely eat - AND the pizza was great. I've been turned away from enough pizza places to know that it's a treat when I can have pizza! I got the basic pizza - just dough, red sauce, cheese, and basil and it was so yummy. So you can order at the food truck or you can go in to lanakai brewing and order in there. After i chatted with the staff at the food truck about my allergies, i ordered inside. The food came out quickly and was so so yummy. I would gladly eat here again!

Fantastic pizza to go!The beaches in Kailua are so beautiful you do not want to kill time sitting and eating somewhere. With that being said. Valentina's Pizza in conjunction with Lanikai Brewing Company is a great option because you can get pizza to go to bring with you on the beach or you can dine in. We got the Mac Daddy and Suprema. Both fantastic.Thank you VP!!

Dude. I cannot articulate how outta control dank this spot is!!! I'm dreaming about coming back to the island for it. We placed our order directly with the guys at the truck. They gave us a wait time of 45 minutes....I'd wait two days for the hot honey, pesto, pepperoni deliciousness at this joint. Pizza oven in a food truck... wild!

We sat down at the brewery and ordered pizza from the menu. We had breadsticks first which were absolutely delicious. I really like the Olive based ingredients. The wood fire pizza was really good and the ingredients delicious. We will definitely eat here again.

Fantastic service and even better pizza. The overall vibe of the restaurant is great. We had such a relaxing time and the pizza took a little bit to come out, but it was well worth it. I would definitely come back here in a heart beat. The staff is friendly and allows customers to bring their dogs on a leash, into the restaurant.

Oh man, ordered a pizza on Saturday and it was awesome. Ordered three pizzas for the family and houseguests and the crust was BURNT! Wife is not happy. I guess check your crust when you pick up. Takes about 20 minutes to make so be ready for a long wait if you have to reorder.

(Dined 09/20/22 TU @ 4:30pm): Whether my pizza came from a truck or a trailer... it's all semantics, right!?I was at Lanikai Brewing Co. tasting some beers when I learned that they had a partnership of sorts with Valentina's Brick Oven Pizza Food Truck (trailer was probably more appropriate) as their in-house food option. Unaware whether or not they allowed outside food, and I was already settled in, I figured why not grab some grindz from this establishment. As was commonplace back on the mainland, most breweries had daily food trucks to feed beer-guzzling patrons, and I always loved trying new trucks. Would they be a perfect fit for the brewery!?QUICK BIO"Conveniently located behind Lanikai Brewing Co., their brick oven pizza is made with love. Their dough is hand-made using 4 simple ingredients - flour, water, salt and yeast. Hand-stretched to order and baked in their brick oven using local Kiawe firewood. They use local produce whenever possible!"PURCHASE11" Suprema Pizza ($20.00): Made with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, Ezzo pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, kalamata olives, keiki mushrooms, and red onions all laid out on a crispy slight airy crust, this pizza hot all the rights spots on my taste buds and in my belly! Be careful because it was extremely hot once it arrived at your table, but once it cooled down a bit and the potential for the roof of your mouth has dissipated, I dove right in and quickly ate two slices. There were plenty of toppings; however, I couldn't detect the distinct flavor of kalamata olives. No worries, the pizza did its job as I resoundingly polished off all six slices as they helped to soak up all the beer, cider, and hard seltzer - bravo https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ziRZBKvo7PI4dF_J8jrRsA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw!SERVICERather than the actual food trailer, I placed my order with a brewery staff member (and made payment the same way) who handed me a menu https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=grd-I-1mWbh2C_Vhk9v9Zg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, and about ten minutes later my pizza came out piping hot with a lovely aroma. I didn't recall any condiments such as parmesan cheese or chili flakes which was fine since the pie stood on its own. Once I polished off my dinner, the tray was cleared away as were any empty glasses. Things were straightforward, but I honestly would've liked to have dealt directly with my meal supply.PARKING (FREE)Being a food truck, they were at the beck and call wherever they were serving food. In this case, they were the in-house restaurant of Lanikai Brewing Co. brewery. I couldn't recall any onsite parking. However, I found a spot along the main drag of Hamakua Dr. as well as surrounding side streets (please read any posted signs)! Another option was to hire a driving service like a taxi, Lyft, or Uber.ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCEBecause I never saw the actual vehicle where my food was coming from, I honestly had no comments whatsoever here. I couldn't say with authority whether or not it was your standard self-sufficient food truck with an exterior menu, order and pick up windows, an area for condiments, napkins, and utensils, etc.. I imagined natural lighting was prevalent during the daytime while your guess was as good as mine about the situation at night. The same went for any TVs or background music.ATTIRETotally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops.OVERALLI enjoyed my meal from Valentina's Brick Oven Food Truck and would consider them again whether at Lanikai Brewing Co. or if they were able to venture offsite. The quality was first-rate, the menu limited but varied enough with pizzas, pupus, salads, and sandwiches, the prices comparable within the food truck industry, and the service straightforward. Nothing earth-shattering here, so don't expect much more. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $20.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they (the brewery in this case) accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
