Saw a board they had posted on FB, went down and got an even better deal than anticipate. Now off of Sand Island Access road. Huge selection of new and used short boards and longboards with totally reasonable prices. Their prices are some of the best on grounds of they WANT to move boards. But what I really value about Used Surfboards is they always answer the phone! Peeps that goes a long way.

Here I am back again, buying surfboards to play with on vacation, and sending them back home to Texas. Dean's the new owner and the address changed after the fire, but it's still one of my favorite stops when I'm in Hawaii. The selection is awesome, the prices are VERY good, and Aaron, Malik and Sanja were knowledgeable and fun to work with. They shipped my boards and took care of everything. Repair Se ctor of Used Surfboards HawaiiI've used their ding repair service twice, and love the results. The repairs were done well, and even looks wise, the repair sector tries to not only fix the issue, but also blend the colors and finish so its almost not noticeable. Both my repairs, were perfect and not even noticeable. 5 stars! The moment you need a repair, that day, just take it in.My repair was on a Sunday drop-off. It was a bummer that I dinged my board, but the silver lining was they were open on Sunday to take the board in, then a few weeks later it was good as new.Check the pictures, they did a great job. I even had some uncles check out the repair and they were impressed.

Great variety of used boards and new! Best place to sell your board if you don't got patience or time. Both side of the party profit. Maybe a lot of phone tags cause dealing with confirmed price from buyer-SHOP-owner. They also offer board ding repairs. Oh choooke (a lot) of surf accessories. Thanks Alex and team

Kai or Gene.. owner of shop and workers giving people the run around and avoiding paying back people for their boards after fire. Why would your worker say not to call and give out your 'burner phone' number??? Why a burner phone?? You will continue to have bad karma!Plus you got paid the insurance money!!We are planning to file in small claims court. Everyone else should as well.

They make you feel like family! Old school business attitude ! A must if you are in the neighborhood !

My husband's Channel Islands surfboard was burned in the stores fire almost 2 years ago. I've been told for over a year now that we'll get our money soon. Constant run around from Gene the owner. Either he's not in when I call or I'm told he's working on it and should be any day now. This is not how you run a business. It's shady and dishonest. I've left emails that never get responded to. I'm to the point of considering taking legal action. Give us our money!!

It's been almost two years since the shop burned down and my partner and I have still not received any money for the surfboard we put on sale here. It's so disheartening and their communication is terrible. No emails are responded to, we call every other day and never receive any concrete help. I do not recommend this business.

these guys bought the shop changed the terms of service and never notified prior consignment customers and then failed to communicate for 1.5+ years as to the status of payout for boards lost in the fire. Now more than 1.5 years later and ONLY after i had to raise absolute HELL to get any response i am suddenly forwarded a paypal for $318 for a BRAND NEW NEVER RIDDEN SLICK LONG BOARD ... $318 dollars ??????????? ....WTF ? terms of service ? I was never notified the place was sold; the new owner never notified consignment sellers; and then unilaterally changed the terms on his own yet acts as if i was party to the change and then screws me on the price as if $318 for a brand new never ridden board is adequate compensation in 2024 for a brand new never ridden long boardstay away from this business nothing but a bunch of GD thieves who not only believe but act as if your property is theirs and your money is theirs not to be returnedworst business decision youll ever make DONT DO IT THEIR TERMS ARE ONLY TO THEIR BENEFIT

Recently sold my board here. Makes life easier than trying to sell it myself. Owner and staff were great and the board sold for a reasonable price. They have some nice boards new and used. Worth checking out! Thank you Used Surfboards Hawaii.
