Shopping in Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii...My friend, Angel, wanted to return something that she had purchased at the University of Hawaii (UH) volleyball game at the Stan Sherrif Center. She knew that the UH Bookstore would be able to do the transaction, so I went along to take a look...Wow...The Bookstore seems gigantic and modern now! The choices for merchandise have really expanded! There are more products, styles, and designs for everything! For example...The clothing selection... from sweatpants to t-shirts and hoodies... gosh... we never had so much to choose from!Another observation was the accessories department. I don't think bucket hats were popular back in the day... I also saw beanies - which are hardly worn in the 50th State, but they would make great conversational gifts! The clear bags for stadium use were tempting. I like the UH logo... the logo was also on a Santa Hat!Well... I did buy some gifts... I know now where to shop if I need more!P.S. they also carry Eden In Love reusable tote bags - even a crossbody version!

It seems like forever since I stepped foot on this campus. Luckily, I still remember where everything is. I went to the bookstore at Campus Center to return an item I purchased at the Stan Sheriff Center. They were running a promo where you could get 20% an apparel item. I wanted a Nike Rainbow Warriors shirt, but they only had the green hoodie. They had mostly Champion Warriors shirts. They were ok.The return process was fast and easy. The guy working there just scanned my receipt and had me insert my credit card in the machine. The charge was refunded to my card.

The University of Hawai'i at Mānoa Bookstore was my go-to for school supplies and textbooks while attending the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. It was also a place for me to take a look at commencement-related items closer to when I walked (Spring 2015) and graduated (Summer 2015). Textbooks were competitively priced and were sometimes even less expensive here than available options through online retailer(s).School supplies for course-specific items were findable. Instructors for my courses did a good job in pointing out specific attributes they wanted in supplies and they tended to match available offerings at the Bookstore. If items were not in stock, workers could provide arrival estimates for next shipment(s). School apparel was available as a decent price. The location of the Bookstore, at campus center, was ideal in my experience.

Love this Place. From University class text books. To rare art supplies. To Friendly staff and students. Sport clothing items change frequently and per athletic season; therefore multiple visits through out the year are recommended. Air Conditioned well.ADA Entries and aisle spacing.

As a proud alumnus of UH Manoa... first off, GOOOOO BOWS! Second, this review is mostly for the rockstar service I received from the Campus Solutions' copy center that is located inside the Campus Center bookstore. Back in the days of being a student at the University of Hawaii, I hate to admit it but I rarely ever stepped foot inside the bookstore; everything is pretty expensive (clothing and UH merch is anyways), and I never really ever had the time in between classes. On the hunt for a printing place and copy center to get some cool Yelp schwag printed, my mom actually turned me on to this place! Long story short, she's a retired teacher who belongs to a few teacher sororities that still prints a physical newsletter that they send to their members. Frustrated with the steep prices of other copy centers and printing locations (i.e.-FedEx and Kinkos), she somehow managed to find this place! They are a one-stop shop for copying and printing. From start to finish my encounter with Campus Solutions was above all super pleasant and easy peasy. I found their online ordering page here: (https://www.bookstore.hawaii.edu/manoa/site_cs_copy_print.asp?). Once there, they have a pretty extensive list of paper options, finishing options (stapling, hole punching, cutting, etc.), and even offer other services like faxing, scanning and laminating. My favorite part about using Campus Solutions vs. somewhere else... their SUPER competitive prices. For a job that required me to print about 20 pages, on card stock, double sided, and in full color, cost me no more than $8. Compare that to the online quote I got from Kinkos and FedEx, the job would have costed me $40+. Safe to say, this place was a steal! The only downside I would say... finding and paying for parking on campus. :P Parking close to campus center cost me about $6 for one hour (almost as much as it cost me to print). All in all, my encounter with Campus solutions was great. Jake helped to fulfill my order and from start to finish he went above and beyond to help me out; he even did a bit of educating and gave me some tips for sending the job over to make cutting and printing the designs smooth. I cannot thank them enough for the awesome, stress-free service!

Yelp states that hours are until 6pm however store closes at 3pm. Horrible customer service at the bookstore. Staff inside the store but refuse to allow pickup of online order.

Although small, the UH Manoa bookstore has a little bit of everything to fulfill the needs of students, faculty, and staff. The best part about the bookstore is the Apple section. As an authorized seller of Apple products, they carry a decent stock of Apple computers, mp3 players, and accessories. They often run clearance sales on some of their computers. The bookstore also carries a nice selection of UH logo wear and accessories. When you're in a bind and need to buy a last minute gift for someone or need a shirt for a volleyball or football game, the bookstore is the place to go.Need envelopes, paper, pens, candy, or soda? The bookstore has it all, and when it's 3 pm and I'm dying for a candy bar, I prefer to buy it from the bookstore versus in the vending machines. You just never know how long those candy bars have been sitting in those hot stuffy vending machines, and sometimes those vending machines eat my money.31 Yelps Review Challenge: #10/31

The bookstore is a joke. Overpriced and rude is what I'd use to describe it as. I went to return a text book yesterday and they said they were closing and wouldn't take it back, and to come back tomorrow. I came back and spoke to the same person who is now telling me I will be barged over $100 to replace the book because I didn't bring it back yesterday. UHM bookstore is ridiculous and makes 0 effort to help its students succeed. Do not go here to buy any books and don't expect them to do you any favors. They are clearly just after money and nothing else.

The only up side of the store is that it is conveniently located in the middle of campus. Their return policy is a sham and the only way its the only way for the store to remain afloat because they know how terribly mismatched their peices are when compared to the competition. They'll tell you their policies are very generous compared to other university bookstores but the man who punches me in the face is marginally better than the man who kicks me in the face. They also have a chokehold on all of the overpriced spirit wear, the quality of which is only slightly better than something I can pick up at Wal-Mart for a 1/3 of the price. If you can, get amazon prime or use the free month of prime offered to college students when youre ordering your books. You'll always get a better deal somewhere else. Also, I've had better service at the DMV. Sad.
