Don't call them. You'll get an angry lady on the phone telling you to stop calling (even though it was my first call). I called to see if they had a textbook in stock because my professor asked if any of us were notified via email in case they forgot to notify him personally. So I wanted to take the initiative and call them. BEWARE.

I went in there today to find mybook for class, & saw that there are some isles that are blocked off (you need to ask someone for it), except for the last isles of the room. I'm kinda lost in finding my book since i havent been there for a whole semester, so i'm browsing through the isles. I see my book across the room so im headed there in mind you, a COMPLETE OPEN isle with no rope blocking it off. Then one of the older lady workers yell across the room "youre not supposed to be back there! its blocked off! what do you need!?!" Seriously? where is the professionalism here? the isle that i was walking in wasn't blocked off AT ALL. I said "a culinary book" and she replied irritably "its right here." No care in the world. Then she went back to her desk and talked on the phone sounding so frustrated. Honestly, this is a great bookstore. But I really felt that this worker is very unprofessional and made it clear that she has NO customer service.

I come to the book store like everyday because I always get the candy bar cookies n creme. But there's not much people working so I just yell for help and I don't like yelling cuz it's a quite place. The book store is really pricy compare to getting it at walmart. The pens and highlighter are like $5 or more that's really pricy! When you can get it at Walmart for $1 or less for just one But they do have cheap candy bars! I love the cookies n creme candy bar so I always come and get it. I will be coming more a lot now days:)

Great bookstore, usually has all the books readily available for pickup throughout the semester. Books can be ordered online and picked up in person, so there's no need to go roaming through the store isles for books. The book store is pretty well maintained. All the store clerks are readily available to assist you if you ever need help finding a particular book. Like most UH bookstores, it is quite difficult to find used books at discount prices, so most people often end up paying full price. ALTHOUGH if yo're in luck there's a second hand book board right outside of the bookstore, with postings from previous owners looking to sell their books. I would think the bookstore personell would contest about these discounted book postings right outside the front door, but i always see numerous postings with a diverse selection of books posted for sale on the board. One of the perks to this store are the discounted beverage prices in comparison to the cafe. I think the energy drinks here are like .50 cheaper than buy from the cafe.
