UBAE was one place I was extremely excited to try when visiting Oahu and it did not disappoint! Although the shop is small, the baked goods are delicious! Ube Crinkle Cookies: 10/10Ube Cheesecake: 9/10I highly recommend trying UBAE cookings and cheesecake! The price is a bit on the higher end, but it's worth it in my opinion.

Ubae yay...Or nay that I have yet to visit the shop in Kalihi though lucky me that you're able to find them at various events as well like the current Food and New Product Show at the Blaisdell where you can't miss the cute purple truck filled with goodies galore.Ube Cheesecake and Crinkle Cookies was brought here today along with various merchandise as they're voted Hawaii's Best size years in a row there's a reason for that.The service here is very friendly and great as I adored their Tart Plushie he made sure I knew it was available for purchase as well lol!! Lots of yummy treats and fun items as well making it a great spot for ubae anytime.Thank you!

Three and half stars. The place is cute and vibrant and colorful. I'm used to the ubae tarts in Wahiawa so this is my first try here. It was early so no line= perfect. The place is colorful and the choices were decent. I'm there for the ubae but they had other choices or a mix of all choices. The ubae tart is refrigerated so it takes away from the crisp of the tart shell but it still stays in tact. The ubae flavor is good. So the whole thing was good. The price is a bit high but I know what it costs for these tarts and the supply and to run a store front expenses. It all goes hand in hand. The young man that was there was kind and sweet and helped me with my tarts.

The ube crinkle cookies were absolutely delicious! Perfect flavor and texture. Didn't have enough room in my stomach that day and wasn't able to come back again but wish I could've tried other food there too!

All items had the perfect amount of sweetness and freshness. Ubae Cookies - not soft, has a bit of a crunch but not too hard either. Crumbles when you bite into it. Ubae Tart - delicious! The middle was soft and creamy. Prefer this over the cookies. Ubae Cheesecake - tastes like a cheesecake of course but less sweet which is good. Ubae Butter Mochi - soft, fluffy and delicious. The service was excellent and friendly. The environment was clean, organized, small and cute.

Came to try the infamous ube tart. Their place is very tiny and cute, just a place to order what you want. Cashier was very nice and helpful. Their tart was good, but I was hoping it would have a consistency of a cheesecake, this was very soft and kind of just dripped out after taking a bite. Also, they needed a stronger ube flavor (especially since they specialize in everything ube)

Got ube?! Come and get yours at Ubae. These are ubaeliciously delightful mini tarts. If you love ube then you'll fall in love even more with this ube tarts. I've tried their cake but it's not for me. It almost tastes like the one that you'll find at Foodland and it's cheaper. If they make changes to their ingredients and add real ube then I'll consider giving it another try. I've been to Ubae a number of times but I don't recall ever getting a really good service. The staff does not seem focused to their customers in front of them. I came once and she was talking to me one minute and then started talking to this guy who just walked in and headed in for the back. It seemed like her boyfriend or something. I'll leave it at that.

After hearing my coworker stops by this place to purchase gifts for friends before flying up to the mainland I decided to give this place a go! Smallish shop and selections looked limited. The cases had a small number of 4-pack tarts available and slices of cakes and crinkled cookies. I kept on thinking there has to be more. I have seen these selections at pop ups in Nordstrom and also CPB in town and there appeared to have more. The girls handling the orders were very nice and helpful. I was sad the ice cream machine was broken so that's why I dropped a star off. I ordered an ubae Swiss roll and a 4-pack variety pack tart. The Swiss roll is covered in real buttercream sprinkled with coconut flakes. The ubae flavored cake is soft and light. So yummy! Just could not stop eating.The variety tarts all tasted unique. I loved the chocolate haupia the best. The strawberry cream was a close second. The purple ubae flavor was okay...not earth shattering but good nonetheless.Ambiance is cozy but sparse. Will return again but please fix the ice cream machine!

Located in a small plaza in the back industrial area. They have a large shared parking lot and no restroom as it is a to go only place. We went at 9:30am on Sunday and they only had frozen items available. The staff might be in the back if you enter and no one is there. Just take your time to check out what they have available. Got the small Ube Cheesecake and it was frozen hard but softened in no time by the heat of my hands. If you are having it at home with some real utensils it won't be a problem but be careful if you are having it with the plastic ones. It is great with a cup of coffee as it is a wonderfully dense cheesecake. The Ube flavor was pungent and the portion was just right for one person. We also had the roll cake which was also semi-frozen but surprisingly soft when eaten! Trying to fork a piece out was hard but as soon as it entered your mouth, it turned into a fluffy soft cake.

Ordered a flanbae and chocolate bayous tarts. I think the ube cookies and chocolate tarts are the best things on the menu.Customer service was awesome. Parking available No-fuss
