I went to the newest food truck on Hickam AFB today. We ordered the last chicken tenders (Zak style) and chicken sliders with buffalo sauce with loaded taters and Mac and cheese on the side. All was pretty good. It's a one time thing for me (due to diet restrictions) but it was good. This is located in the Burger King parking lot on Hickam. Across from the Commissary. $10 plates

Great chicken and chips! Cost ten bucks for a huge plate. Friendly service and they use vegetable shortening which is great news for kids that have peanut allergies. 5 stars!

The food is good but the owner is not very nice. Today while waiting for service, he was berating his staff. Then came out to the counter to another waiting customer and apologized and again blamed his staff. If he has a terrible time keeping staff it's not hard to see why. When square up asked me for a review I basically stated the same thing as this review. The response from Twisted Tater was "sorry, you did not like the situation was handled. Have a great day". Obviously someone has difficulty with personal responsibility. I won't continue to support any business that is not managed with human civility and respect- so obviously, I won't go back.

I love the food here, but they have very irregular hours. Being closed over the holidays is understandable, but they were closed for almost all of December and are STILL closed as of 5 January (despite a sign on their window saying they will be back on 4 January). Seems like they're always closed.

MAN! THEY REALLY WEREN'T KIDDING WHEN THEY SAID FULLY LOADED! COME CHECK OUT THE TWISTED TATER FOOD TRUCK. This weekend I just went to a fireworks show at Turtle Bay Resort and there were all kinds of food trucks. Although there were probably about a thousand trucks the Twisted Tater caught our attention. The truck had a yellow outside, with a menu on the left side of the window. It also had a green tent on the left, which is the front of the truck. There was a table and on top was all kinds of sauces A few family members got this before us and they said, "yeah, it's real good." It looked heavenly as well with all the toppings. We had to wait in a long line and now I know why. The BBQ pork with the nacho cheese and cream sauce seemed like a weird combination, but it really wasn't. The food came together as one pretty well, because of how they complimented each other. The aroma of the tent connected to the truck smelled like fried potatoes covered in fresh oil, right out of the fryer. When I got my food I could just smell the pulled pork smothered in BBQ sauce. The taste reminded me of nachos without regular tortilla chips, but instead they substituted it with their homemade potato twirls. It tasted like nacho cheese, pulled pork covered in rich BBQ sauce, and a hint of another creamy sauce. It looked like a potato sundae with extra toppings. I saw people with sticks with a potato twirled like a spiral staircase. When I picked up a tiny potato twirl it felt like a mini weight with an extra dumbbell on the opposite end of my fingertips because of how much filling there was. I heard the guys from inside of the food truck taking our order yell "Fully Loaded!" Overall the food was delectable, a work of art. The service was okay, and there's not much to say about the service because you are barely talking to them and they are barely talking to you. There is not much interaction with them because all you do is give them your order, they tell you how much it is and then you pick it up. This little sailor boat plate full of yumminess is put at a good price of 10 dollars. I give this place a 5/5 for their rating because it was extremely delicious and I'm glad we chose to eat that. MAN! They really weren't kidding when they said FULLY LOADED!
