Twisted Mac

I understand the season, but would not recommend take out from this establishment. Or even Uber eats,Doordarshan. Horrible just spent money foolish on COLD HORRIBLE FOOD.TWISTED FOOD

Ordered: Meatball Mac, Truffle Mac, Truffle fries, and lasagna bites. Took 2 hours to get to us - excused as it is a holiday. When it did get to us - super cold, needed reheating (and you know how that goes with fries which, btw, not sure why the holdout as "truffle")Lasagna bites - largely okMacs - wouldn't know. Got two child basics. Not sure if they were being lazy or mixed up orders. I was reminded though that I ordered from them in SF area and was super disappointed there too. Alas. Warning - DO NOT WASTE THE $$. Kraft is cheaper and better.

I thought I was supporting a new local business, but the receipt shows that this is actually an arm of Romano's Macaroni Grill. The name describes the offerings - various takes on mac and cheese. I tried the toasted ravioli, the regular mac and cheese (there was a 2-for-1 special on this on Uber Eats), the cheeseburger mac and cheese, and BBQ mac and cheese. Let's take each one separately. The toasted ravioli came with marinara sauce, but even with, it was rather meh. I lived in St. Louis many years ago and they have awesome toasted ravioli. This was nothing like those. Now I did expect them to taste different because the St. Louis ones have a meat filling and these are filled with ricotta. These were not breaded and were not drained before being put into the container so the bottoms were pretty greasy. Tops were crunchy, though.Suggestion: Stir your mac and cheese before chowing down.My favorite was the BBQ mac and cheese version. It was listed as "spicy" and it is, but it won't make you sweat. You'll mostly feel it in the back of your throat. It's a little sweet. I asked for the peppers to be left off, but either the request was missed or ignored, or didn't come through. This one has the best favor, IMHO.The regular mac and cheese was also pretty good. Could be a good choice for kiddos. Of my three choices, this one was the creamiest.The cheeseburger take was okay, but nothing special. Oddly, I could pay for several kinds of extras (i.e., steak, chicken - for all the mac and cheese selections) but extra ground beef was not an option. Beware: The cost for some of those options can be quite high. You can get extra sauce or vegan cream, too.The order came with plenty of parmesan and I tried some here and there, but it really didn't change things much. There are three sizes to the mac and cheese offerings: 1. Single2. Family3. PartyThere were a couple of salads, another appetizer, a few other main choices (including a vegetarian option), and some good-looking desserts. The desserts were expensive. The only beverages (at least on Uber Eats) were Acqua Panna or San Pellegrino. I would have gone for a diet soda but in the absence of anything but fancy water, I opted for free tap water from my kitchen sink.Craving pasta? Need a carb infusion? This is a good choice if you pick wisely.

Create your own bowl with spinach, brocollini and prosciutto....it had nothing at in the there...not at the bottom no place....trust the reviews here folks....they can't get an order right for the life of them

Let me start with, we are from the South, so mac and cheese is a THING!! Lol! This was ok. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad. It is a different take on mac and cheese. We ordered the cheeseburger mac and cheese and the meatball mac and cheese. Also, we ordered the lasanga bites and the fried ravioli. All were just ok.

Overpriced Sh*t food... wish I read reviews before ordering...I will once in awhile make an effort to write reviews, but rarely write negative ones... this place I tell ya...I'm actually so upset with the food, that I needed to write this... I had ordered; smoky mac with chicken parmesan, meatball mac, ravioli, and a cheesecake...CONS: Macaroni noodles are extra chewy, sauce is practically nonexistent, meatballs dry and overcooked, and ravioli with chewy edges and doughy centers...PROS: nice take out containers...This is the 1st and LAST time I'll order from this establishment, I'm so appalled by the food that I wouldn't want free food from them, just an apology...My only hope right now is the cheesecake...UPDATE: Cheesecake is good (taste store bought) but overpriced for the skinny sliver they give... it's like they bought 'Cheesecake Factory' branded cheesecake from Costco, cut it into 16 pcs and sell them for $5 a slice (greedy)... I rather go to Burger King for a cheesecake, at least they give a bigger slice ontop of taste...This place needs to reevaluate the quality of food, or close down because clearly this place has ZERO passion for food and NO RESPECT for the Culinary Industry.

The cheese sauce they use isn't exactly bad. It's easier to describe it as boring. The portion size is huge. The take-out container weighed over 1 pound. I ordered the Cheeseburger Mac. I immediately thought of Wendy's old saying, "Where's the Beef?"Like, seriously? I had maybe 3 small crumbles (if I was being generous in my count) lost in all that pasta. After 6 spoonfuls I was over it and ended up trashing the rest. I ordered the Meatball Mac and Cheese for my daughter. She didn't understand why they placed the meatballs from a red sauce spaghetti dish on top of her Mac and Cheese. The meatballs had absolutely no flavor and just like my Cheeseburger Mac, she called it boring as well. So there you have it, 2 stars. 1 star is usually because you can't give no stars and I added 1 more star for the portion size. Would I order from them again? Nope, just NOPE. The reviews don't lie. C'mon Romano's Macaroni Grill! Read your reviews and either fix it or shut it down.

Its's twisted alright! Ordered via Uber Eats, we ordered 2 simple items and both orders was wrong. Nothing close to what we ordered. Thankfully Uber Eats immediately reimbursed us... so we decided to eat the free meal anyway, and boy did it disappoint..DaWorst. In fact, after tasting it I was so glad they messed up our order and was able to get reimbursement. Save your money, I've tasted better better Mac N Cheese out of the box. #Regret&Cheese

The Mac and cheese was tasty but the hassle you need to go through to get an online only "NO" self pickup is Stupid!Delivery took 2 hrs I could have picked it up eaten it in that amount of time. Not doing this again for Mac and cheese

Some of the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. Huge portions and affordable! Great cookie too
