One of the best meals we had on the trip! I had never done room service before and we decided that this would be the most ideal time to do it. Turtle Bay specializes in resort-style vacations, and their menu was way too enticing to pass up. My one qualm was that even though *17% gratuity is automatically included on the bill, as is a $5 delivery charge, there is still a space to add your own tip. It's not immediately noticeable at first, but it's fair. We added an extra bit on the tip because we ordered cocktails as well.We got the catch of the day and the garlic shrimp for our entrees, and creme brûlée and flourless chocolate cake for desserts. As cocktails, I got the Piña Colada, he got a Manhattan. Both were strong and well-made. All of our food was delivered within 45 minutes! It was nice to have everything brought up after a long day of exploring Oahu, but the room service is NOT cheap, as you would expect. Our total bill came out to $170.00 with tip included. It was nice to try it once, but it's not an every day thing lol. I'm really glad we got to try the menu items in bed while we watched a movie, because hiking all day was exhausting!

Our dinner was easy to order by phone and we received friendly service. The food arrived exactly in the estimated 30-minute time.My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and fries (with extra ketchup, of course). It looked tasty, was a good portion size, and had plenty of ketchup! My mashed potatoes (I wasn't feeling well that night) were tasty and abundant. Prices were more reasonable than I'd expect at a resort.

Fast and efficient. The late night (after 10) food is from the Grille downstairs and instead of having to worry about clearing a spot to eat (if every surface in your hotel room is covered with wet clothes, maps and sunblock like mine is) they wheel in a table to place at the foot of your bed instead of just a tray.Prices are steep but it's room service and options at this resort after 10 are quite limited. We ordered a pizza, salad and chicken wings (wanted to pig out on junk food) and it was quite good, more gourmet and less junky and the portions were not skimpy like most room service meals are. It's all presented quite nicely and the staff that brought it all was friendly and got in and out in a timely manner (no chit chatting while I try to not feel awkward in my pajamas).I also liked the options for having room service prepare a picnic basket for you during the day should you want to venture out to some of the other beaches on the island and not have to worry about leaving your lazy beach slumber to go find food. I didn't utilize this service (50$ for two sandwiches and salad and fruit seemed a bit much for someone who wanted to explore what the island had to offer) but it seemed like all your food needs were covered here should you want to venture out or stay in and have a romantic candlelight dinner with champagne. Or just pig out on carbs like we did.

We ordered breakfast through room service this morning. So far this hotel has been amazing and we were expecting an incredible breakfast in our beach side cottage. This breakfast cost about 70 dollars for 2 people and it was horrible. The waffle came soggy and dense. Not crispy and light. It was drenched in something sweet and pineapple. It came with a side of imitation syrup, instead of real maple. IHOP could have done better. My girlfriend got lox and a bagel. The salmon wasn't fresh and the bagel left something to be desired. Really disappointing.

Let's see.. my family and I were very hungry and they came 15 minutes earlier than expected. My brother and his girlfriend ordered a Caesar salad while I ordered fish and tomato soup. The chicken in their Caesar salad had fat and skin on it. My tomato soup did not look nor taste like tomato soup at all. I don't even know what that was or if they had gotten our order wrong possibly, although the receipt said tomato soup, so I am assuming there was no mistake. My fish was sooo bland I actually ended up pouring my gross soup on top of it and adding a lot of salt just to be able to force myself to eat it because I was starving. The bread and butter was the best part of our meal. Of course shortly after eating I ended up getting sick from it and the next day I was in bed all day as a result. We tried to let management know as soon as I was able to walk downstairs, but apparently the manager was "on lunch break" and we had somewhere to be, so we couldn't wait 30 minutes just to complain. The lady at the front desk said she will give the manager our information and we should be getting a call later today from them. Sure enough, they never did and we didn't bother to even try after that. It is obvious they don't care much about their customers.. I was truly disappointed in this in-room dining experience. I didn't order fish from Turtle Bay the rest of our stay there because I was too scared of getting sick again.
