Trydis BBQ

Every bite is packed with flavor!! I would absolutely suggest Trydis to anyone visiting the area. The staff is so friendly - truly all smiles, and the food is absolutely delicious. From the tuna mac salad to the homemade marinades and sauce to the melt in your mouth proteins (especially the smoked brisket), this food truck is top notch. 10/10 would recommend!No pic because I couldn't wait to dive in!

Stumbled upon this food truck area and ordered the three plate with lemon pepper wings, short ribs, and garlic shrimp. Came with rice and macaroni salad as well. It was LOADED Up! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Each of the items were delicious, juicy, and full of flavor! Only downside was I paid around $35 for this plate. Definitely on the pricier side.There was a few tables to sit at between all the trucks.

We decided to hit the food trucks on Kalākaua bc I heard good things about them. Trydis is Samoan owned, and offers many of the island favorites.We got a mixed plate of kalbi and creamy garlic shrimp. It inc two scoops rice and mac salad w/ tuna.First of all, the kalbi had a flavorful marinade, and was grilled nicely. The owner/cashier said she marinates the meat (she does an excellent job). Secondarily, the shrimp were super fresh and included the heads. The creamy garlic sauce was so tasty, and went well with the rice. Lastly, the "mac" salad was unique bc it was made w/ short strands of spaghetti. The tuna added a nice texture, and added more protein to fill us up.The owners are super nice and was surprised when I said "Fa'afetai ", thank you. IMHO, all us Islanders are related, so its good to learn some polite phrases in other languages.The ambiance is typical food truck park w/ plenty of shaded tables, and porto potties on site.Support a local biz, and hit Trydis when you are in the area. They serve good, hearty food, with a whole lot of Aloha.

I didn't catch the persons name who just reeled us in with describing how good their food is and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint at all. The best shrimp and short ribs I've ever tasted. Would definitely recommend. The tuna Mac salad was bomb too. The combination goes well together.

Great food. We had the smoked meat, chicken, and beef rib . Nice smoke flavor on the smoked meat and rib. The chicken was also very good. Very friendly staff.

I liked Trydis! The woman at the counter was super friendly while taking our orders. They didn't have the ribeye which is what I wanted so opted for the short rib! It was very flavorful. And I loved the tuna mac.

Best Chicken & Pork plates here!! Delicious food and even better service I will be telling everyone about this place!

I got the Lilikoi Smoked Meat and it was delicious! I would fly back to Oahu just to have a plate of it again! 10/10 would recommend! The Service was really good. They had some chill music playing so the vibe was great!

got here on a Wednesday from California and found Trydis BBQ. Excellent food. I ordered the rib eye with two helpings of macaroni salad and one scoop of rice. it was awesome. So much food that my wife and I split our order and still had leflyovers. Can't wait to try some of their other plates. Lady taking our order was very nice. Called me Uncle

My brother had this a few days ago and I had a small bite and I ended up craving it today. The nice lady at the counter tried to sell it to me and said best bbq in Hawaii and told her I know . I ordered the Lilikoi pork ans the short rib. This was perfect! Not too sweet. Didn't need to add any sauces and portions were great! (Although my brothers portions a few days ago looked more ). I will be thinking about this bbq and will miss it dearly!
