Tropikal Party Rentals

I didn't use this services, so I don't know how they operate. However, I did have an unpleasant experience with one of the drivers from this company. While driving to Walmart in Kapolei, one if their drivers was on Fort Barrett Rd. Heading towards Makakilo. They had a red light so he took the far right lane as if turning to go to Walmart, then cut back on to Fort Barrett cutting off oncoming traffic. After I blew my horn, he had the nerve to flip me off. Word of advice, if you're going to drive like an idiot, cut people off then flip them off, make sure your company name isn't blasted all over your vehicle!

I wouldn't rent from them they have really bad service I needed them to set up at 7am and my party starts at 12 they didn't show up until 1130 and my guests was already showing up for the party we had to start decorated at 12 o'clock service sucks and Joe didn't even offer a discount now that's really bad customer service don't ever rent from this people and they was gonna just leave everything for us to set tables and chairs!!

Had a great experienced with this company on Thanksgiving weekend. Their drivers albert & anthony was very helpful in my setup and delivery.not only did they do there breakdown very fast professional they even help us breakdown of our tents and supply.the owner jo offer me a great deal on our tents, table, chairs and bounce house. i will sure to use them again. Just like to say thank you to jo, even if you couldn't been the one helping me this weekend,prayer for you get better soon and you albert and anthony for your excellent service.

I had a horrible experience with this company. The day before our party they called an cancelled the tent and bouncer that we wanted due to the storm that was coming for insurance purposes. They were suppose to deliver the tables and chairs between 8 and 9. At 810 I get a phone call from Joe saying that they are running a little late because his guys was waiting for him. So ok it's 1030 now still nothing so I call Joe he tells me their truck broke down on the kunia rd so they are loading it on another truck and will be there shortly. Now it's 1230 still no delivery he tells me they are down the road so they should be there soon it's now 130 pm finally they come and my party starts at 300. It's almost 500 and the concession stand that is suppose to serve popcorn and shave ice is not here. When I call Joe he doesn't answer so I send him a text message asking where is the concession stand he calls me saying that they had to cancel the concession but he never told me nothing all day I had to be the one to ask for it. He was suppose to come to bring my refund but asked if he could met us at 1 the next day in mililani. Come 115 don't hear from him so we call him now he ask if we can meet him after 7 cause his wife is flying in from Molokai and he doesn't have enough money to pay us. He only gives excuses and the run arounds so be very cautious when thinking of hiring this company we still have not received a refund and have not heard from them.

I have used them for an annual Christmas party for the second time in a row (2013 & 2014). Joe delivered and setup everything I rented and was very friendly and knowledgable. I found out about them through an ad on Craigslist. Their prices were lower than most of their competitors and they responded to my calls right away.

I was a little concerned at first given the lack of reviews on this business. Found their ad on CL and prices were very competitive. Joe was very friendly and professional, explaining the charges for delivery (across the island) and package options. Just a few weeks before our event, we had a big issue with our original venue location. We not only had to adjust our location but also had to adjust our rental needs. Joe was very accommodating, readjusting our contract and giving me a discounted price based on the reduced needs. They arrived on-time and provided quick set-up. He was also flexible on the "break down" time, arriving early the next morning to pick up the rental items. I believe in their services so much that I find it strange that I'm the first to review them on yelp. I'm hoping that others will follow suit and provide more positive feedback. I highly recommend their services based on their professionalism, competitive pricing and overall positive attitude.
