Their açaí is rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious, bringing a true taste of Brazil to Hawaii.But it doesn't stop there. They also serve amazing coffee and pão de queijo, Brazil's famous cheese bread, making it the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or just relax and enjoy. We're in Hawaii so obviously we were craving acai! This place definitely fulfilled the craving. Would've given 5 stars because the workers were so sweet. However, we ordered with our friends and they ended up forgetting multiple things from our order. So overall a 4/5 :) I ended up trying: Pao de Queijo, White Choco Mac Latte, and a Tropical Tribe Bowl with Premium Toppings. The acai bowl was fresh and delicious! Your standard acai bowl. I really enjoyed the toppings on top and they were heavy with the honey which I loved! My husband enjoyed his White Choco Mac Latte! It tasted good and wasn't too sweet. I also really enjoyed the Pao de Queijo! They were decently sized and served warm. I was pretty hungry when we got the acai bowls so I was super happy to have a little something salty. Loved the chewiness. I'd definitely recommend the Pao de Queijo!

Always a treat when I go to Tropical Tribe. They made an açai lover out of me. In the unassuming basement of the Discovery Center is a hole in the wall spot that offers delectable bowls with a smile. Staff is pleasant with good energy. Bowls are always fresh and the perfect amount of honey. You can even add a scoop of protein powder for 1.75$ (a bit pricey in my opinion but worthwhile).FYI Parking is also available for 30m - free for spends over 20$ or 1$ otherwise

A well-deserved five stars!!! We were visiting for a week and staying at a hotel nearby. Tropical Tribe ended up being our go-to breakfast for many mornings because we loved their açaí bowls. Their storefront is hard to see from street level - look for the stairs going down near the McDonalds on the corner. It is takeout only, but there are some small tables just outside. Loved the Brazilian style açaí with Pineapple paradise, Tropical, or Sunset toppings. I especially liked the honey and bee pollen- a nice compliment to the açaí itself which is refreshing and not too sweet. The small size was plenty for us. Their coffee and espresso were good too. Really appreciated their friendly and attentive staff! An excellent option for a delicious start to the morning!

Tropical tribe is a small hidden gem in Waikiki. This is one of my favorite places to grab an açaí bowl when I'm in the area.I love getting a regular tropical tribe açaí bowl with tropical tribe toppings. The fresh fruit and bee products always taste delicious and fresh. love the guarana juice they use in their tropical tribe blend since it's not too sweet like apple juice. The workers are always friendly and quick and their bowls are always consistent. I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven't already.

After several attempts, I finally got my ideal açaí bowl today. They changed the name from the Tropical Tribe Bowl to Brazilian - I like it better as it says exactly what it is. Keep up the good work and hopefully it stays consistent.

Easy parking.Service takes a minute but it's made fresh. Quality food. Yummy! Coming back for sure.

I've always passed by this place and finally tried it out. I love acai bowls and this place certainly hit the spot. It's located at Discovery Bay Center on the bottom floor. The parking lot is on the back side of the building and Tropical Tribe does validate. I parked here for less than half an hour and it was free. I'm not sure how much it'll cost if you stay longer. The hubby purchased the regular sized carioca bowl $11.40 + $0.80 for the premium toppings. The ingredients in the carioca bowl are banana, milk powder, condensed milk, pacoca and granola. This bowl was just amazing and different. I eat a lot of acai bowls and it was the first time I saw this combo. I'm not surprised though. Condensed milk will make anything taste good, lol.I also love the acai texture from here. It's not too runny and not too frozen. The consistency is perfect. I will be back to get another one of these.

This place was a bit of a letdown to be honest. First, it doesn't seem to be in the best area. It's like this underground area and it felt very dirty. We tried an açaí bowl. It was fine but honestly I didn't love it compared to other bowls in the area.
