Stopping by Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut , even after two years, is a nostalgic experience for me. The familiar, friendly atmosphere always brings a smile to my lips.It is a favorite destination of visitors as well as island residents. This delightful outlet offers a wide range of locally made products.Visitors can sample a variety of coffees and flavored macadamia nuts, as well as being able to try body oils and lotions. The friendly island-themed atmosphere provides a pleasant place to browse products, including Hawaiian crafts that make excellent gifts and vacation souvenirs, including soaps, chocolates, popcorn, coffees, tea, jams, jellies, pancake mix, gift sets and more.Children and adults alike can enjoy the free activity of using stone to crack open macadamia nuts and sample them in their fresh raw state.

If you're a macadamia nut lover, Tropical Farms is an absolute must-visit on the island! This delightful farm offers an incredible assortment of macadamia nuts treated with every spice and flavor you can imagine. From sweet to savory, they have something to satisfy every palate. The highlight for me is their world-famous chocolate-covered macadamia nuts. These little bites of heaven are rich, creamy, and perfectly indulgent. It's hard to resist grabbing a bag (or two) to take home! The atmosphere at the farm is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They truly make the experience enjoyable as you explore the various flavors and learn about the macadamia nut process. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this spot is a gem that shouldn't be missed. Make sure to stop by and treat yourself to some of the best macadamia nuts around!

Driving back from North Shore, and enjoying the beautiful scenery, we saw Tropical Farms The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet and decided to stop in. Wow, it's a popular tourist spot!Open air buildings that have a lot of samples, Macadamia nuts, knick-knacks, clothing, souvenirs, etc.The workers there are friendly and nice. You can definitely find better pricing elsewhere, but these are fresh!

I had forgotten what a great place this is. It is on the beaten track for tour buses so it is busy, and it is easy to see why.We stopped because the kid wanted a cold coconut from the Coconut Hut. In 2021 she had her first coconut and then fed the chickens with the meat from the shell. We did the same this year and she spent a lot of time feeding the chickens. This year, each coconut was $12, up from $10 in 2021. The store is a mecca for macademia nuts, lots of different flavors. A short list of food items includes Kona coffee, hot sauces, salt, honey, oils, and dried fruits for sale. Lots of tourist type souvenirs--maps, toys, knick knacks, etc. that was not much interest to me but the kid liked looking. There is a small, but free parking lot.The setting is in the forest so it is beautiful.Overall, a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Wonderful stop if you're making your way to the north shore!! I came before tour buses arrived so we got to chat with the workers and explore the place before the rush. They had complimentary macadamia nut coffee, and 100% kona coffee if you ask for it! There are also sample nuts u can try. My favorite was the Kona Coffee coated macadamia nut! Theres also a place in the back where u can crack macadamia nuts and feed the chickens. The chickens love it!I would recommend supporting this place and buy some souvenirs!

The tropical farms is much more than just a macadamia nut farm. My husband and I truly enjoyed this pitstop and we spent an hour here. Not only is there a variety of macadamian nuts to buy but there's also Kona coffee, souvenir items, and beauty products to purchase. They also have samples to try for the macadamian nuts and coffee! My favorites were the honey roasted, cinnamon, and Maui garlic and onion flavors. I also bought a Hawaiian nights mist perfume and it smells heavenly! If you go outside to the back of the shops, there is a lovely outdoor area with a fresh coconut water stand and more! That staff are very nice! A huge mahalo to the coconut water server who gave us another coconut to enjoy. There was a large bin of raw macadamian nuts and we learned how to crack macadamian nut shells. The trick is to use a large rock delicately so to not smash the nut but with a nice powerful hit to crack the hard shells. There were also roosters, chickens, and chicks that we fed the nuts to but of course, you can enjoy eating the nuts yourself too!Really fun and cool place to check out! There are clean bathrooms available inside. Parking was in a gravel lot. We didn't have difficulty with finding a spot.

Tropical Farms and Macadamia Nuts is a must stop if on the East Side or visiting Kualoa Ranch. First off, the staff are such nice people and really work hard assisting customers. This is a great shop for trying locally made products or purchasing paintings or jewelry from local artists. Of course, the highlight is that you get to sample the different products from locally grown coffee and macadamia nuts to locally made jams, spices, and syrups. It's also a beautiful property to walk around and enjoy the views and don't forget to crack some fresh Macadamia nuts and say hello to the tons of chickens running around. Great shop to purchase gifts to bring home and if you buy too much, they will gladly ship it for you at USPS prices and $4 service fee.Awesome experience so definitely add this shop to your must stop locations while visiting the island.
