Found Tropicake on Yelp and decided to check them out since I'd never had a cake like theirs before. It was my mom's 70th birthday, so we wanted something truly special--and Tropicake delivered! They did an amazing job, and we absolutely loved how the cake turned out. It was not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious!

Tropicakes made my Dad's 90th birthday extra special. I had been searching for a specialty cake to celebrate my Dad's big day. When I saw Tropicakes, I knew it was meant to be and was going to be extraordinary just like my Dad. I was late in placing an order. And I think I flustered Tamar because it was so last minute (2 days prior). But she had the numbers and came through in a big way. We had a brief discussion about my preferences and she offered suggestions and promised it would be beautiful. Let me just say, when Tamar sent me a photo of the cake, I had tears of joy. It really looked amazing. You can just tell that this cake was made by a true artist who has great pride in the end product. My Dad was so happy when he saw the cake and my family just ooh'd and ahh'd over the cake. According to my parents the cake was delicious! They enjoyed every single bite. Prices are on the higher end. But it is truly worth every single cent. And best of all, it tasted just as amazing as it looked. I couldn't be happier with Tropicakes. We celebrated my daughter's first birthday away from home so I wanted to make sure she had a great birthday cake. I reached out to tropicakes and they were easy to work with and great with communication. As soon as I booked the cake the owner reached out right away to work with me on the design. We picked up the cake on my daughter's birthday and it was beautiful. The owner even gave us a set of candles and happy birthday cake topper. There is a lot of attention to detail as the cake has hidden treasures on top like handmade chocolate shells and glittery macaroons. As we ate it in our hotel lobby people would pass by and comment on how beautiful the cake is. If you want a memorable beautiful cake I highly recommend tropicakes.

Taste - Not too sweet delicately flavored shortbread cookie cake. Everyone at the dinner from the kids and sweet lovers loved it.Looks - Love the luxurious look! Beautifuy decorated with colors of my choice. I did not want any food coloring, so I choose neutral. Price - It is not cheap but it is totally worth it.Communication - Quick response. We communicated through the instagram. Their website and instagram show many examples. Easy to understand the customization choices and prices. I was little worried when they asked to change the delivery time and had to reconnect with the restaurant but worked out at the end.

I ordered my sister's 18th birthday cake from Tropicakes prior to visiting Honolulu from Arizona. Response time to messages were super quick and easy. Service throughout the experience was amazing, and the cookie CAKE was DELICIOUS! The flavor profile was "chef's kiss"! My sister loved the presentation and everyone loved how it tasted.
