Wow, I have been waiting months to write this review to see if they would rectify anything but can confirm that I am super glad my child does not go to Trace. We considered it since it is super well priced and conveniently located. I didn't love how small it is and that there is no outdoor space. Kids love being outdoors! But it was worth considering. During the tour we were given a waitlist form and told it is $50 to hold the spot. Great! In mid-August I physically drove to the school to hand them the form and the check. I check my bank accounts at the beginning of each month, and thought it was odd it was not cashed at the beginning of September. I email the school to say that I noticed it has not been cash and am confirming receipt. NO RESPONSE I email again a week later. NO RESPONSE I start to think maybe something is wrong with their email. I have conversed via email before, which is how I scheduled the tour to begin with. I confirmed it is the same email address. I am also worried that maybe they lost my check and they are intentionally ignoring me until they find it. I don't know what is going on, but I go directly to their website and message them through their online portal. NO RESPONSE It is a huge red flag to me when I am actively attempting to give an organization money and they are not responsive. If they don't respond to me trying to give them money, how are they going to treat me once they have it? I do not know what their excuse is, but at this point, I don't care. Short staffed? Server down? Too busy? All not great things for a preschool. I decide to call Trace at the end of October. So they have had my check for over 2 months and completely ignored all attempts for me to contact them. Trace: I have you're check right here, I'll cash it todayMe: oh...ok. I have tried emailing a couple times. Trace: Yes, I got your emails. Ok...no apology, no explanation. Just telling me they've had my check sitting there for over 2 months and have actively been avoiding my messages. Honestly if she had been remorseful, provided an explanation or even been remotely nice over the phone, I would have considered still sending my child, but this conversation was the nail in the coffin for me. We really did not like the way we were treated as potential parents and decided to go elsewhere out of principle. I would definitely not recommend them and I would never send my child there.

Trace Academy Trace Academy94-1388 Moaniani St #205, Waipahu, HI 96797Every child is unique. Every family (Ohana) is unique. When we found Trace Academy 2 years ago for our granddaughter we found unique! And we found Ohana! Skylah is 4 now. She has loved going to school at Trace from the beginning. Her Daddy is a single Father. He is so grateful knowing his daughter is not just safe but loved while he is at work. Occasionally my husband or I pick up Skylah. It's always a fun experience for us. Her happy "Goodbye, see you tomorrow", and calling the teachers and her classmates by name is so comforting to us. The staff at Trace perfectly juggle being professional and personable! Our Granddaughter's education at Trace has exceeded our expectations! Note to anyone considering Trace Academy. Something no one can take from a child is their education! Thanks to Trace Academy our Skylah will be prepared beyond for kindergarten.

Poor communication between the staff, Rude front desk name Shailyn, was told to come in for a tour and at the appointment no one available to give a tour because of failed communication, no security cameras to log the children area, the director Joe had a very snobby attitude and didn't seem like she wanted to give me a tour,No outside play area the indoor play area is used for naptime and it's pitch black dark no meals unless it's catered meals which is additional money or home brought mealsThe gate that separates the children area from the common place area it's not exactly child proof or say and no permanent front desk person to watch the front at all times none

This is my child's first CDC! She attended the one in Aiea and she loves it! My daughter's first week is so rough! she screams and cries and throw tantrums but the number of adults supervising her made me feel confident that she is in good hands. She was semi-potty trained and happy that Ms. Jodine did not charge me for additional fee. She stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks and became completely potty-trained (thank you to the amazing teachers). They are very flexible too with picking-up and payments!

I took my daughter here from age 2 1/2 to 5 and she LOVED it. We are so very happy we found T.R.A.C.E Academy. They taught our daughter so much and prepared her in so many ways for Kindergarten. The teachers and owners are all amazing and will become a part of your family the way they did ours. I will always recommend TRACE to everyone I know and will be taking my son there. Even though we recently moved it is well worth the drive knowing our children are in good hands.

My two kids went to Trace Academy from 2 years old till Graduation. I cant say enough about how loving and family oriented this pre-school is. Our very first teacher was Ms. Kasy, and we definitely got blessed as she is the most loving teacher our kids could have as their very first teacher. As our kids moved up to the next classes, every teacher was passionate and caring (Ms. Raechelle, Ms. Kamiel, Ms. Ky, ect.), down to the owner and director (Ms. Bobbie & Ms. Jo), they were really accommodating and student focused. My kids loved going to school and I just want to thank The Trace Academy Ohana for all those amazing years and memories.

My son had attended for almost a whole school year last year and they had nothing but bad things to say about him. This was his first time being at a school as he had only been with a babysitter before. If they are really certified they should know that all children learn at their own pace and also need time to adjust. My son had 3 different teachers in that school year, having to get comfortable with a new teacher every few months. Also I had gotten sick towards the end of the school year so my son did not attend for the last 2 1/2 months. They kept the tuition for both months when he never even attended but I guess they had to be that way since they couldn't afford to keep their Aiea location open. What complete rip off! The owner especially, terrible!! I do not recommend!!
