Mililani is kind of out of the way for me, but I've been here a few times. Town Center of Mililani has a nice mix of retail stores and eateries. The parking lot is huge. You'll most likely have no issues finding parking. Some of the stores here are AT&T, HIC, Jeans Warehouse, Fun Factory, Longs Drugs and Times Supermarket. Some of the eateries are Tanaka Ramen, Thai Village, Popeyes, CPK, Five Guys, IHOP and Pizza Hut.Supercuts, Spectrum, Sylvan Learning Center, UFC Gym and Central Pacific Bank is also here.

Shopping and dining in Mililani, Oahu,Hawaii...Gosh... I haven't been here in a while. I forgot that Longs Drugs Store is "far" from Consolidated Theater. It's even further when it's rainy and windy! (It's an open-air shopping center.)Thank goodness Irene M. gave me a ride to my car after we had lunch at Tanaka Ramen and went to Starbucks at the FAR end of this shopping center!I also passed a Cookie Corner Store, Five Guys, Panda Express, Baskin-Robbins, and California Pizza Kitchen! I didn't go in between the buildings, but I'm quite sure I'll be back for more adventures!Note: we forgot to go to Morning Glory!!! Tip: Walmart, Assagio, Hele Gasoline, Zippy's, Popeye's, Straub Medical Center, Jack In The Box, UFC Gym, and Chili's are part of this Shopping Center!

I love coming here. My daughter loves coming to the Fun Factory here. There were a few stores and quite a bit of eateries here. I have yet to try some places to eat here. Overall I like the layout of this cute shopping center. Plenty of parking around the shopping center. There was a store called Morning Glory which was a cute shop that sold stuff from Hello Kitty to other characters. Definitely a cute store. There's restrooms located in the center of this shopping center. Hardly anyone here the day we came here. There was even a movie theater but closed due to Covid-19. A mask is required to wear. I would definitely come back here to try out the restaurants in the shopping center.

You know about the special connection between Hawaii and Las Vegas, right? The connection is so close, many people refer to Las Vegas as the ninth island. But maybe you don't know about the connection between Las Vegas and Mililani.Hawaiians love to play at the California Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. And it was at the Cal where a guy from Mililani made Las Vegas history. His name was Stanley Fujitake, also known as The Man With The Golden Arm.It was in the Cal, at a crap table around 1 am on May 28, 1989, that Stanley took control of the dice. He proceeded to hold the dice for a record three hours and six minutes, rolling those bones 118 times before finally 7-ing out. It was an absolutely epic roll.(To put this in perspective, the average craps player usually controls the dice for a matter of minutes, rolling the dice like 2-10 times)The table got so crowded and the payouts so complicated they couldn't re-stock the table with chips fast enough to keep the game rolling smoothly. The casino ran out of $1000 chips. They house was losing at a rate of $100,000 every 15 minutes.Players at the table won $1,000,000. The biggest bettor that night pocketed $100K. Stanley himself netted around $30K.To commemorate the achievement, the Cal had a cast made of Stanley's hand, holding a pair of dice. It's on display, covered in leis, downstairs at the Cal.Since that monumental event, the Cal started The Golden Arm Club to recognize anyone that held the dice for over an hour. On a wall in the corridor the connects Main Street Station and the Cal you can find of Golden Arm Hall of Fame. There are rows and rows of plaques recognizing players who have achieved dice greatness.Amazingly, Stanley went on to achieve Golden Arm status three more times. He has four awards on the Wall of Fame. When you visit the Wall of Fame you will be astounded by how many names are from Mililani. Sure, there are lots of people from Honolulu, Pearl City and all over Oahu. But so many from Mililani! So many! So, naturally, when I visited the Town Center of Mililani I expected to see some sort of tribute to the great Stanley Fujitake. You know, like a statue. Or a plaque. Something.Nope. I couldn't find any public display honoring the man. Surely he is the most famous person to come out of Mililani. But where's the love?Don't get me wrong, I love Mililani and the Town Center is beautiful. I loved visiting the city and eating and shopping there. Gorgeous city! But I think it's kind of a shame there's no memorial to the late, great Stanley Fujitake!Mikey C says: I'm all sixes and sevens and nines

Nice area, never crowded. Could use a few more small eateries. Maybe starbucks could move more into the center area and have outdoor seating.
