Top Hat Bar

I lived in Wahiawa many years ago.My cousin and wife brought me here to drink,this was before they had pool,darts,and karaoke,only tables.I was surprised that the live music was Peter Moon and his band and the dancer was a former Merry Monarch solo winner,I only remember her last name was Kalua I was glad to see Peter Moon who is one of the top slack key guitarist in Hawaii.I am still a fan of his music.It wasn't that crowded because nothing was advertised outside.it made for a more intimate performance and I felt extremely lucky to be here.Sadly we caught their last set and before they left I told them how much I enjoyed the music.Top Hat is a friendly neighborhood place that locals can enjoy beer and,pool,karaoke and has a friendly atmosphere you can feel.I will always remember my first time here.

Top of the Hat to you....As it says on the window. "Where friends meet" so this is my first time here and when you enter, Koa, likes to greet everyone by barking up a storm so that Aunty Lois can know that someone had just arrived and she's ready to serve. Top Hat has been in Wahiawa OMG! Ever since 1941! I never went there and I've always been scared to go in because first of all, it's a bar and I'm too chicken to go alone. Also, I grew up here, so when I was a kid, it was like don't go in there! Just don't and you listen until now. Aunty Lois knows everything that she has on hand and how much they cost and asks what kind of snacks we want and OMG! She even comes outside, if can, to have a cigarette and talk story with us. She is very friendly, helpful, attentive and LOVES MY SINGING!!! This may be a small facility but my singing was awesome!!! Or because I was drunk with everyone else, having fun and met new friends to say, yes, I'll see you next Thursday night again. Thank you Aunty Lois, thank you CJ, Mercedes, Mychel, Jesse, Honey and tee hee hee I forgot her name but she was Honeys sister in law,Thank you all for a great night, with great friends just having a great time!

Came here per my friends request because he goes here weekly. It's a cute little bar located near sunny side & the police station in Wahiawa. The owner Lois is super sweet & friendly. They have pool & karaoke. The time I went, it didn't have too many people, it's more of a place to come after a long day to relax. Oh & she also offers chips and water for you so you can leave not belligerent!

This is my spot. Friendly older crowd never busy. If I want a nice laid back place to drink this is the place!

Good place for a drink after work. Laid back and safe atmosphere. Pool table, darts and karaoke a plus.

Ditched the teenagers at the Dole Plantation Maze and stopped in for a bit. Sweet owner and super friendly locals! Nice conversation and some inside tips . . . Worth the detour!
