To Thai For

These kalbi style ribs are unbelievably good! They have some sweetness with just the right level of spiciness. Even better with Thai beer (Leo).

We planned to dine at another nearby establishment but they were totally full so we opted for To Thai for. We were greeted by the friendly lady at the back entry whom seem to be the owner and seated right away. There was already a fairly full dining room and another younger female server. After being given our menus, I noticed that the owner went back to the kitchen to likely help prepare food leaving the one server in the front. She paid special attention to the large table party and we had to wait quite a bit before I decided to flag down the owner again to take our order. The food still arrived in a reasonable time. The best dish ordered was the fish fillet which was very flavorful but other dishes such as the home style curry was so watery that it would have been more appropriate as a soup. Service was very much lacking as my empty water glass was left empty even as the server filled the glasses of the large group.

Doesn't this name just says it all...Honestly looking for a very late lunch/early dinner but had no idea what...grrr! Well I had somewhere to go in Kaimuki and decided to see where my feet will take me. Driving up I noticed a newbie in the former Keep it Simple location and know that there are several restaurants here as well.To Thai For...yup I've been walking/driving up and down Waialae and no I've never been here though keep hearing so much about it that I thought it was time to see what it's all about. As I enter honestly was delighted to see how nice and open the dining area along with the uniqueness of having shelves filled with various snacks for sale as well. Walking to the back of the restaurant is the bar though it seems like they use it as that more like a beverage station along with more snacks for sale.I ordered the Pad See Ew with Tofu at Medium spiciness that gave it just the right amount of kick loved how the veggies was cooked just right with the crunch yet not raw the noodles was so flavorful and delicious. The service was nice as I was greeted and got my order in promptly along with verifying and allergies I may have. Thank you!

To Thai for is seriously the best Thai food we've ever had! We lived on island for three years and came all the time and have tried Thai food all over the world and it all disappoints compared to here. The staff is always so friendly and feels like family and every dish is made fresh to order. Our favorites are the pad see ew, pad Thai and Panama curry! You won't go wrong here.

Ordered take out Food was ready upon arrival FYI if your ordering to go make sure you ask for napkins and any spicy sauce you may want because this was missing had to ask for it Ordered chicken satay Chicken was juicy had a bit of curry flavor witch I didn't really care for but the peanut sauce it came with was really good but was a bit coldThe fried rice was amazing full of flavor and great portion had it for lunch and some for dinner If you pay cash they do offer a bit of a discount as well As far as parking there is limited parking in the front since I did order to go I was going to be in & out parked in the front but they do have parking n the back that cost I believe $14 My total for these two items was $34

Nice evening meal for four. Pad Thai, summer rolls (salad rolls), Panang curry, white rice, and a large bottle of beer came to $69. Food was decent, nothing really stood out. Charging for white rice was surprising though.

Great food and service is consistent here. Love the snacks they sell! My family (kids) like to go there when they come back to hawaii to visit.

I've been here long time ago not a usually place that I would go but ever notice how Thai restaurants have a way with playing with words that makes me want to try them out Wouldn't You !?! But I really love Asian Fusion foods and love to try anything ew and different types of cooking methods with different ingredients fishes chicken beef styles of curry noodles rice and salads Thai food are definitely aficionado and addictive to say the least and once you start eating them you can never get enough So go ahead try some food to Die For try to Thai For

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Buddha's Joy with tofu and garlic sauce. Flavor of sauce and veggies and tofu are cooked to perfection. I do eat meat, but I love the sautéed veggie dish at Thai restaurants. This did not disappoint. The customer service was wonderful also. I'll be back. A definite must.
