Tini Manini

I loved the items in this store but was disappointed by their dishonest business practices. I purchased a Christmas present for my nephew here, as I always try to support local small businesses whenever I can.However, recently, my mom pointed out that there was a "Tax 1" and "Tax 2" on my receipt. They charged the standard state/county tax of 4.712% ("Tax 1") and an additional 3.5% for something called "Tax 2." I checked my receipts from neighboring boutiques, and none of them charged this additional "tax." It's a very small amount of money, but this method of deception is taking advantage of customers who are there to support them. My parents owned a small retail shop, and they cannot fathom how anyone could justify a hidden charge of any kind.I would have been happy to pay more if the charge had been transparent. I truly believe businesses should set their prices at what they need to--even if it seems high--in order to pay employees living wages and to make a decent profit. If it means the *listed* price of the item I bought was 3.5% more, I would have paid it without issue. What I don't like is being tricked into paying more than advertised.

We stumbled upon this children store after getting coffee nearby and it ended up being my favorite kids shop of the whole vacation! We were immediately greeted when we walked in and the lady helped point out where we could find everything they had in our baby's size. They have a great book selection too with all Hawaiian theme stories. I also found a bunch of Keiki Kaukau puzzles that I previously bought online and some new ones that I haven't seen before. I would've bought them all if we had any room left in our luggage!We ended up buying a few clothing items and a board book for our little guy. The owner of the shop was so friendly, and before each customer she would ask about the baby's size just to make sure it would fit well. She showed us how the swim shorts we got had an extendable waist to make them fit a bit longer, which we had no idea about! I love when shop owners are personable and helpful, which makes this place stand out to me!

By far the cutest store on the North Shore!! April is the kindest and most caring business owner I have ever dealt with!! I called from Phx Az as I wanted to surprise my daughter and son with some unique and local surf wear and of course support the local establishments. Dealing with April and everyone at Tini Manini was a complete breeze and such a joy!! I can't say enough about this awesome little surf shop!! So go see for yourself and buy something of value and you can't find anywhere else!! Mahalo an thank you for making our Holidays one to remember!!

This place is lovely! They support locally made products that are great quality. April is so sweet, helpful, and just a breath of fresh air. I purchased the most adorable baby clothing for my little niece back home. Thank you Tini Manini for not medically discriminating consumers!!

My family and I decided to take a long drive up to the North Shore. We came all the way from town and just wanted to cruise North Shore side since it's been awhile. While we were looking for parking we so happened to pass by this store. My husband was like "ohhh look, that store looks like they got some cute stuff inside" so we actually parked right next to the store. We were greeted with warm welcome. The owner was very sweet and personable. She explained everything in detail. My husband and I are so down to support local. Always! The store had so many cute stuff. We were able to pick up a few things. Thank you so much for the excellent service! She even chatted up with our daughter, guessed her age and everything. Which she was right about her age lol. If you're ever in Haleiwa and looking for some cute things for your kids. Definitely add Tini Manini to your stop!

Super cute children's clothing store. Family owned and operated. They even make the apparel which all looked awesome and super cute. Boutique prices but definitely worth the splurge.

Stopped in this cute little shop while shopping in this center and they've got the sweetest baby gear you could ever find! The shop manager is very friendly and informative about the two brothers that create the designs for the hats and tee shirts, super cute! I bought a baby rooster stuffed animal as an island souvenir and the homemade wash clothes that have a mermaid design on them, very high quality. Definitely stop in if you're in need of a baby gift or if you're buying for a little one, such unique and adorable baby gear they have.

Honestly, this is a children's store for adults--not for children. The items were beautiful and would be fine as gifts. But going in there with a toddler is like a bull in a china shop and we were treated as such. Just him being a toddler and wanting to touch things or rearrange things his own way was no bueno to the attendant. We left pretty quickly after.

April is the best! Stopped in to this family-owned shop to get gifts for my niece and nephew, and she had everything we could dream of, all locally designed and produced! There was an extensive array of baby clothes, accessories, books, and some toys. We had such fun stopping in, and can't wait to come back during our next visit!

Very cute store open during these times and following all covid protocols. April the owner was awesome to let us browse the store even when she was about to close the shop. They have a great collection of children's book, art and clothes.Parents must stop by if in the area !
