I am not one to write negative reviews but my recent experience with Tina Lau Photography has prompted me to do so. I am a first time soccer mom and when the messages we're being passed around about soccer photos and Tina i assumed she was quite professional and did this type of work on a regular basis, but i was wrong. She may do this work often but in my personal opinion her quality of work and professionalism is very subpar. When the kids arrived for pictures she wasn't very friendly. I mean they are kids, 4-5 year olds, so yes they may have been a little rowdy but she could have been nice to them. She pretty much grabbed each kid and maneuvered their body parts to her liking and then said next as she yanked the next kid up. She maybe took 2-3 minutes which each kid. Then when it was time for team photos she just had everyone line up and took a few shots. This led to a team picture with 2 kids standing off to the side who looked so disconnected from the team. The pictures she took of my son we're ok. Slightly over exposed but decent. Could i have taken a better picture with my camera, yes absolutely, but this was not my biggest complaint. I was very excited for the trading cards which were listed $19 for 9 cards. Wow, i initially thought kinda steep but they would be worth it since it was my sons 1st soccer season. You can't put a price on memories right? Well, i was wrong. I recieved these cards and the image of my son was pixelated... i mean WHAT?!?! Before i got too heated. I calmly asked other parents how their cards were and they had the same issues... pixelated images of their kids too. I thought to myself, ok this was probably a printer malfunction. This can't be right. So i nicely emailed Tina Lau and told her of my issue and asked if she could reprint. Her response... 'The cards were printed with a computer printer and reprinting would yield the same quality'. WHAT A JOKE??!?! Computer printed cards for $19?!?! Then she says if i would like a refund to mail her back the cards, since she was off-island. BEWARE of TINA LAU and her business. Please read all the reviews below before using her for your photos. I would recommend you save yourself the $19 (or $33 that i paid) and take your pictures yourself. I am giving her 1 star because you can't give 0 stars and because the the image of my son was not completely horrible. I really feel bad for the parents who's children we're very over exposed and looked washed out. Oh well, now we know better. I hope you do too. Thank you for listening.

Do not be fooled by the photographs on Tina Lau's website! We have used her "company" twice for soccer pictures and they have been awful. They are out of focus, dull in color and just plain terrible quality. I could've taken better pictures with a throw away camera.Enough said.

Horrible! The Photographer was rude to my players while we were there and the entire thing was rushed and due to this our pictures are poor quality and the experience left us all feeling slighted. She did not even take the time to look at us while she snapped the photo. Very low quality shots. Then when our pictures arrived they were haphazardly thrown into the envelopes. They were incredibly mixed up any person could have taken the time to see that it obviously was two different kids. Then one order just didn't even get filled. Her phone etiquette is childish and unprofessional. While on the phone to correct the problems all she did was make excuses and try to blame me. So incredibly unprofessional. I would never use her again and I strongly advise you try to find someone else.

She was 20 min late and did not treat the kids politely. The pictures looked as if it was taken by parents with their phone.

Tina did our soccer pictures and although we have not gotten them back yet I am giving her a 1 star review. She was completely impatient and rude to the children on the team, and even the parents. She rushed through all the pictures, I hope they at least come out decent.
