My mother, in particular, loves the breathtaking views, the warm atmosphere, and the unbeatable location. We were in Hawaii to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday--along with my wife and brother, who are also January babies. When my mother chose Tiki's for this milestone occasion, I reached out to Erik, the Assistant General Manager, to let him know we'd be celebrating. What happened next exceeded all expectations.From the moment we arrived, Erik and his team rolled out the red carpet. Our server was attentive to every detail, ensuring that my mother's birthday dinner was nothing short of spectacular.Appetizers:We started with the Beet Hummus Plate--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly aligned with my mother's dietary needs. To our surprise, the chef also sent out a complimentary plate of gyoza--an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture. Who doesn't love a bonus?Entrées:My brother and I went for the Pulehu steak, cooked to absolute perfection. My father opted for the fresh fish special, bursting with island flavors. My mother enjoyed the Coconut Chicken, where the coconut chili sauce and papaya salad added the perfect balance of sweetness and heat.Then there was my wife's prime rib--a dish she's incredibly picky about. But as soon as she took her first bite, she did her signature happy dance--a rare and priceless reaction. Needless to say, there were no leftovers--except for the prime rib, only because the portion was so massive!Dessert:We decided on the Chocolate Fudge Cake, a decadent treat with a molten fudge center. While my mother couldn't indulge due to dietary restrictions, the rest of us demolished it. If you're a wine lover, this is a dessert made for pairing in paradise.A Lasting MemoryI don't typically write reviews, but when you spend money on an experience, you want it to be worth every penny. And Tiki's delivered in every way possible. Had a really great time here! We had Tony as our server and we'd come back just for his service alone! Super friendly, great sense of humor and efficient. There was also live music which was a nice touch. The martinis were great!

I almost didn't go here because the rating wasn't that high. I don't know why it isn't rated a lot higher. The ambiance is a retro tiki throwback vibe and perfect for a last night in Waikiki. The staff are all friendly, from the hostesses to the busers and the waitresses. We were there at 8pm and really enjoyed the live music. Our group all had steak, lobster, lamb and desserts. Everything tasted fantastic and was cooked to perfection. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely come here again! The drinks were really good too. It was a nice surprise that I was able to take the coconut cup home as a souvenir. Mahalo to all the great staff at Tikis

Great view of the Waikiki Beach if you get a table near the edge. We liked the smoked marlin dip and ribs. Good drink menus and it is always fun to have a live music, and the live music goes till late too. It was really busy when we showed up one night, so we made a reservation for the next night, and got a really good table. Despite the fact that this place was packed, our server was very attentive and food came pretty quickly. I think it'll be good place for a group of people or family, not really intimate.

You pay for the ambiance of being outdoors overlooking the beach. Drinks start at $20 and they weren't great. We shared a couple of appetizers that were just ok and then got your basic prime rib and lobster. The food was ok, but not worth the $. Wouldn't return.

Wanted something casual and easy for my birthday, so we made reservations at Tikis - 8pm and it was still busy. Forgot the name of our waiter, but he was great - friendly and attentive. Hubs ordered the Macnut crusted fish. Not sure what kind of fish it was but it was light, meaty, and flavorful. I'd order that again. Kiddo ordered the Pulehu steak. She liked the brussel sprouts - said the steak was ok. I ordered the Prime Rib - good flavor but I wanted it medium and it was more medium well. For my birthday, he brought a complimentary lilikoi cheesecake - didn't really have any flavor but it was a nice way to celebrate.

So the place is located on top of the Twin Finn Hotel. It is super cute with great views of you're sitting outside. The vibe is casual but it can get loud inside and it's pretty crowded. Food prices are a bit high but you'd figure that was the case for a spot in such a touristy area. The food itself is not bad, didn't care for my ahí tartar but the ribs and fries were pretty delicious. The coconut chicken was just ok but my mother enjoyed her lamb. Drinks were good but nothing out of this world. Our waiter was nice but it felt like he was overly busy since we didn't really see him. Overall all, high prices for ok food but beautiful views and decor.

Spectacular service! Tony was so attentive. He hustled yet took time to listen, explain the menu, answer questions and made great recommendations . We ordered the calamari steak ( melt in your mouth tender) and the watermelon salad ( so refreshing after a day on the beach) to start. This paired perfectly with their strawberry squeeze cocktail. We had the Thai shrimp Puttanesca and Macadamia nut crusted fish for our main course. Delicious! Eat here and ask for Tony for fantastic service!

Nik was a great bartender and service was amazing and her drinks were pretty. Thank you for a great time!

Overall amazing night :) From the dinner and drinks to our amazing server Sadie!! She took care of us and make sure the whole experience was phenomenal! 100% recommend and cannot wait to go back! This place sets the perfect vibe for a date night or group out with friends.
