Best Samoan Food on the island. Quality Service by Ross n his wife. Which compliments their great tasting, authentic Samoan food. Portions are big for the price. Samoan deserts like halfmoon pies, panikeke, they got it all. Can't wait to go back!

So glad to finally try Tia's Taste of Samoa. It's my first time to try Samoan cuisine and I actually enjoyed their foods. This hole-in-the wall offers authentic Samoan foods and the owners (couple) are kind and warm. The setup is simple, you'll see the cooked foods that are kept warm in covered trays once you enter the place. The foods we had were nice and warm but the downside is you wouldn't know how long the foods have been there. We ordered the Poly Plate with Luau Mamoe and Povi Masima, with taro, rice, and sapa suey, as well as a regular plate with Kale Mamoe. The dishes were flavorful but notably oily. The lamb dishes were tender, with meat that easily fell off the bone but it really requires careful eating due to the small bones. My favorite is the Povi Masima, great seasoned corned beef, tender and flavorful. There's enough tables and chairs to dine, and it was empty when we got there at around 1PM. The parking here is really challenging though.Overall, I still enjoyed eating at this place and trying Samoan foods.

Eat lots of Hawaiian food but don't see a lot of Samoan options out there so was excited to find this place! Owner was so sweet!! Got to treat my friends to a new cuisine for the first time. Sapa sui and the palusami was great! Wanted some muli pipi but was too full.

Can I just say YUM to the huge juicy pieces of corned beef! So far still the best in the island. However, all of our food was cold. Like I wanted to ask them to microwave it, but decided not to in the takeout containers. Unfortunately they ran out of meat pies at 1030am, so I will need to come back for that. Will give this restaurant another shot and take home to eat in case it needs to be warmed up.

We went to FestPAC at the Convention Center on Monday, and was hoping to find some cultural foods. Unfortunately, there was none, but we found this little hole-in-the-wall gem in Kalihi. We had Palusami (taro leaves, coconut milk), Palusami Pisupo (taro leaves, coconut milk, corn beef), Mulpipi (turkey tail) and Tia's delicious Peach and Pineapple Pie. Everything was so ono!Tia and Ronald, a big mahalo! It was a pleasure to meet you both! We will definitely try some of your other items on the menu.Sorry, we forgot to take photos of our food.

We just came looking for the Pineapple Peach Pie, but found ourselves introduced to fantastic Samoan food!Although we had already had breakfast, everything looks and smelled so good, we had to at least order a plate lunch to share. We went for the Polynesian Plate Combo to try a number of different things. The Curried Lamb was excellent. It was a mild curry done like a Japanese curry. The meat was falling off the bone tender. And there was lots of sauce to go with the rice and Taro in coconut milk. We also had a side of the "banana" in coconut milk that was also a good side to have. It's more like a starchy plantain vs. a sweet banana. My wife was missing the Teriyaki Turkey Tails that she had enjoyed growing up in Hawaii, and they were on the menu! A mix of sweet, tender with crispy edges! A mini-taste of Thanksgiving for mainlanders like myself, but with that Asian Polynesian flavor! The "Panikekes" (round-pancakes) were just like Japanese "Andagi" (donuts) to my wife and Jamaican "Festivals" (Fried Dumplings) to me. Delicious and filling if you want a snack to bring on car trips or to the beach.Unfortunately, they did not have the Pineapple Peach Pie that day. We had to come back the next day for a quick visit and it was so worth it! We wish we had gotten TWO of the pies!Their Samoan Meat pies are a meal unto themselves, very flaky and meaty. I wouldn't try eating one while driving - it would just be a flaky mess in the car. Best to eat there or take it where you are going. Something safer to eat while driving is their Sausage Roll. Same flaky pastry, but more manageable. The Tia and staff were nice and came around to ensure our experience was OK.To be frank, this is one of those great "hole-in-the-wall" finds where we will certainly come back the next time we are on the island.VIDEO:https://youtu.be/V6cZBX9qu7o

Happen to pass this newly opened eatery on our way to the Legendary Ray's Cafe on King St in Kalihi!Tia's is run by a very lovely couple, who moved from Seattle earlier this year! Not knowing anything about dishes from Samoa we decided to take outa lamb stew & pastries native to Samoa. Both were delicious & the pineapple infused pastry was very good! Can't wait to try more foods from Tia's Taste of Samoa. The owners are super friendly & explained the various dishes, just a nice layedback eatery with good Samoan food!

The Food is amasing and the service was nice. The servers were very friendly and I personally was surprised it was rather empty on a weekend. The ambiance is nice as well, but overall the food was great. The curry is island style with lamb and the chicken was AMAZING. I would definitely go back and eat here again.
