The Underground Lounge

On a busy Saturday night in Chinatown with waiting lines at other bars, this place was empty. It's a hole in the wall, like literally you walk in and it's like a big hole of a room with a bar, a couch, and a little DJ area. The music that was playing had it sounding like a big club. The bartender was really into her job, one person in my group asked for a pineapple rum type drink and she proceeded to craft a delicious cocktail. I asked for something similar and she gladly accepted the challenge, dancing around the bar searching for ingredients and even adding a little absinthe fire flame. She could definitely bring people in just having a cocktail of the night because someone else at the bar saw what we ordered and wanted one and couldn't stop raving about it.

Despite its small size, it makes up for it with a lovely atmosphere and a great bar with friendly bartenders. Goth nights are held at this location and I always look forward to visiting every month.
