We stayed here only during the day to have a room until our red eye flight. It was cheap compared to other options, but a real downgrade from our previous hotel for the entire stay. We checked our bags with the valet and they got lost and took forever to get to our room. They had dropped them off in another room. Luckily nothing was tampered with. The check in process was also a bit painful as our booking said we had a 2pm check in and when we got there, the reception said not until 4pm. We only used the room from 4-9pm, which we were actually only in the room about 1.5 hours to shower before heading to the airport. The bathroom was borderline gross. Hair and stains all over the place. We were charged a full resort fee, regardless of only being there a few hours. But the resort fee included free beach rentals at Beach Candy that we took advantage of. We got a chair, umbrella, and boogey board for 2 hours, so that was nice to kill some time. It's a budget friendly hotel that feels dated. Popcorn ceilings, small pool, confusing elevator, etc.

Booked the Twin Fin through a Delta vacation. We were "upgraded" from a partial ocean view to ocean view (read: they oversold the partial view). The room was clean and big enough were we felt like we had enough room to move around. Loved the fact we could use Beach Candy's services. Pro tip: go early if you want an umbrella. Breakfast was also a nice added bonus. I like that the options changed everyday. The location was great and easy to walk to several other spots in Waikiki. The beach was literally across the street. If returning to the area I would stay at the Twin Fin again.

My family had a weekend vacation here and enjoyed our stay. The best part is the location, with the beach right across the street. Overall we had a good experience, although our room furniture was out dated, it was very clean. Extra towels requested were promptly brought to our room and valet parking was convenient (texting system to request car with estimated arrival). I like the elevator system (scan key card and it tells you which elevator to go up) and wait times weren't long. There are water stations to fill up bottles and designated towel area by lobby to pick up towels for the pool and/or beach. The hotel is closer to the end of Waikiki towards Diamond head so it seems quieter than the usual hustle and bustle but still within walking distances to shops and restaurants. Staff was pleasant and accommodating throughout our stay. I plan to come back here again.

I'm gonna my stay wasn't that bad but also wasn't that great. The restaurant & bar area were great. Great customer service. But if you're staying at the hotel everything changes. I had to call multiple times to reach someone in front of reception. Many times the phone would just keep ringing so at times I had to walk down and speak to them. Multiple complains of kids jumping and screaming at 5 or 6am

I'm back on the mainland and can't brag enough about the amazing experience we had from beginning to end. A special thank you goes out to Fernando at concierge! His kindness amid infectious. My husband and I took a quick trip to Honolulu to decompress from the our normal day to day. We lucked up and scored a room in Twin Fin. Everything you need is at the hotel! (Pool, Store, Beach Rentals, and a restaurant) The location is prime right next to the zoo and steps away from the beach. The staff is impeccable. Don't expect a super modern establishment, (it is an island) but know the property is fairly modern, up to date, and well maintained. We had a partial ocean view room that met all of our needs. I really loved the resort fee goes towards beach gear. It's such a hassle to rent chairs, umbrellas, etc to enjoy a nice beach day. There is a restaurant onsite that is next to the pool that overlooks the ocean with live music. The food was consistently good.Overall Twin Fin is a super solid place to stay. Don't listen to the bad reviews!

Had a bad start but one of the staff helped to remediate the situation. The hotel could not satisfy the basic need of cleanliness ( sheets and towels were dirty with hairs and stains) and bathroom had little black stuffs ( see pics). While i was exhausted after a long flight, i had to call them, ask for new sheets, then changed room as it was not well cleaned. While the next room, hd to change the sheets again. Finally, when came the time to take a shower, no hot water! The hot water issue was from saturday to wednesday. Guess how i enjoyed the vacations! At the end, they fixed the water and i was able to relax at least the remaining days.Good thing : they give a recycle bottle to use. So, they are environmental friendly. Lifts were quick. Had a nice ocean view. Close to the beach. Kind of noisy if you are not used too. If you are in a vacation mood, you are good hahah! It would have been great if there was no hygiene and water issue. But for the rest, I liked it!

Be careful how you book your room! I booked a room just shy of 2 weeks at the Twin Fin. Good location for me, because I have some extended family and friends that live in Hawaii Kai and nearby just east of Waikiki. Did a Google search on hotels in Waikiki and this hotel stuck out on Hotel finder app called "Super". Not super! They are pure criminals by listing the cheapest price for hotels and not divulging the "resort fee" of $54/day that is not included. I am sure it is probably somewhere in the depths of the "do you agree" with button that I clicked. In summary, my nicely priced hotel of $1500.00, ended up being $2200.00+. I could have stayed at the Outrigger or similar on the strip for a couple of hundred more, and the hotel amenities would have been exponentially better. In the end, subpar experience and it puts you in the situation where the hotel says it's not their fault and the app pre-charges you, because they know people would just walk out. Keep in mind, I am sure the hotel knows this, because they are more than on it about charging the "resort fee" for the not so resort level amenities that they have. In summary, this type of business practice should be completely illegal. I am sure if I reported this to Consumer Affairs, they would not be happy about it. And I may do that as well. Stay at a real hotel, and don't use Super app.

The staff were always friendly, professional and helpful during our week at the Twin Finn hotel. After a disastrous start to our holiday in Oahu, when our pre-paid accommodation was double booked, resulting in our urgent need for new accommodation, the Twin Finn saved our holiday. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with lovely views from the balcony and open corridor on the entry side.Valet parking staff were always happy to oblige and the location is very handy to everything.5 stars to the Twin Finn!

Bad customers services and dirty hotel room! Management is so bad with attitude with customers! Also if anyone stay there have to be careful with their fire alarm sensor, if it goes off and the hotel will charge you 500 dollars and will not refund you, I had that issues when we stay there on 1/10/25 through 1/15/2025! We complained it to them and they didn't even do anything to help us get our money refund! They have bad services!
