The Sunrise Shack - Kailua

Papaya bowl is yummy! I removed peanut butter though, and would remove honey too - it's too sweet anyway, and also there are bees. Smoothies are gorgeous, would try that again for sure!Got our drinks quite fast. There isn't any tables inside, but there are plants space outside.

After seeing this place for so long, I decided to try it out while on the way to the beach. They were out of many options including acai while I was there and the people working were super friendly explaining which ones they had left. I ordered the blue dream bowl as well as the loaded avocado toast. The blue dream bowl is pretty good! It's super mild and I loved the toppings. The avocado toast was kind of sad. The bread was slightly soggy despite watching it get toasted, avocado was an alright mash, and the arugula and cheese were decent. I would definitely skip this next time.There are places to sit outside but the tables had some swarms of flies so I opted to eat in the car.I'd still be back to get more bowls in the future but hopefully they have more options available next time!

One of many sunrise shacks on island! Walked after spending the morning at the beach, it was pretty busy and I waited about 10 mins. The girls working were friendly. I got a medium ube bowl, it was just right. The color, the freshness of fruit, and the look was good! They had a lot of merchandise inside for purchase too.

Got the tropical smoothie and papaya bowl and it was amazing! Papaya was so fresh and sweet. Definitely would come back. They were little busy and it took a little while for the order to get ready but they are friendly and have good service. They have outdoor seating only but great ambiance close to the beach. They also have parking spots.

Delicious açaí bowls! Really loved the flavors they had and it was fast service! They had cute stickers and t shirts inside the shack as well and only use organic ingredients

Was craving açai and came here, but was slightly disappointed by the limited menu options that day. It might have been an off day. They had run out of a couple key ingredients, but we ordered regardless. The açai was not bad, but also not very memorable. I did really like the vibe inside and the merch was very cute.

Can never go wrong with an amazing smoothie bowl. The base blend of orange, pineapple, guava and banana was so good. The guava adds a nice twang while the pineapple keeps it sweet. No idea how they make that pitaya sauce but it was incredible topping complemented the base blend well. I don't think there was really much flavor from the bees pollen but it did make the bowl super cute. I got the small but I would recommend the medium or large if you come with an appetite because I tore threw that small so quickly. Also be prepared for a high price point @ $15.95 for a small and additional 1.50 to $3.00 for a medium or large. Too pricey for this to be a daily/weekly visit but definitely was worth the splurge while I was on island. We went here for a snack before we hit Kailua Beach

I stopped here after a hike with my brother. I havn't been back to Oahu in over a decade, however the girl at the register automatically applied a Kama'aina discount which means she thought I was still local. Gotta give 5 stars for that. The acai bowls themselves were very good. Everything cold, fresh and of good quality. They came out quickly too.

Awesome food! Totally chill vibes here and great workers. Perfect scenery in the morning. I came here after spending my morning at the beach.I'll definitely come back
