Sunrise Shack - cute little stop before getting into the shopping atmosphere. My gf and I picked up a POG smoothie to share at a reasonable price. Would come here again for a quick energy boost. Extremely pleased with the drink!

WHEN: Sun @3:30pmI had just finished doing the half century ride, and I knew I wanted an açaí bowl after eating my lunch! It was hard to decide, but because I have never seen an ube açaí bowl anywhere else before, I went for the:UBE BOWL - $13.95Base Ube Extract, Banana, Coconut MilkTops Banana, Blueberry, Strawberry, Coconut Saucve, Granola, Coconut Flake.Okay it's more of a smoothie bowl but it was delicious! It's nice the smoothie bowls come in3 sizes and I got the small. Still had leftovers since I couldn't finish it all myself. The shop is super cute with with lots of merch to buy.

I was craving an Acai bowl and decided to come to Sunrise Shack to try! To be honest I was a little disappointed. For the Acai bowl i'd give it a 2 out of 5 because the only fruits that they put in bowl was just bananas. There wasn't much variety and what also killed it was the Acai tasted really watered down. After 2 minutes it would become sludge and it was just super icy as well.Overall,The staff was super friendly, but the Acai was an honest disappointment. I don't think I'll be coming back again.

We came to the sunrise shack to try their acai bowls! I got the papaya bowl (without peanut butter) and my boyfriend got the blue dream. Both were good. I felt like the papaya needed a bit more liquid so I added some of his blue dream to my bowl and it was delicious! This location is located on the first floor of Alo Moana near the food court so there's lots of parking!

The Sunrise Shack is a cute little food establishment located at Ala Moana Center in the food court. You can't miss it as it's bright yellow and has a very happy feel! I first heard about the Sunrise Shack on Cheap eats with Guy Hagi, but never had a chance to try them out until now.I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. They have a lot of options for smoothies, bullet coffee, as well as bowls, including tropical fruit bowl, Matcha bowl, and açaí bowls. I was really hungry, so I opted to get the turkey ceasar avocado sandwich. After placing my order, I had my freshly made sandwich within a few minutes. The staff here is super friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The turkey Caesar avocado sandwich was really good! It has organic turkey, kale, with carrots, onion, lemon, dressing, and salt and pepper on toasted bread. Really delicious and filling.I definitely want to come back and try some other other options, the bowls and smoothies look fantastic!

Freshness is found here...Lucky to live Hawai'i as there's so many fresh fruits and veggies found here and the recipe to combine all that goodness is found right here at The Sunrise Shack. Located in Ala Moana Center just below the escalators behind the Center Stage outside the Makai Market Food Court is this vibrant yellow shop with their service counter is a shack lol surrounded by various fun merchandise with the painted blue skies ceiling giving you that fun outdoorsy vibe.Whenever I feel the need for some "C" I do love to stop here for their yummy smoothies which varies depending on my cravings and mood and yes I'm sorry for no pics as I sip it as soon as I get them lol! Acai Smoothie or I Lava U Smoothie is my favorite all freshly made fast and efficient with the friendliest staff this shack has it all.Thank you!

I visited this location on 7/5 during my vacation in Oahu. It was inside the Ala Moana shopping center, inside the food court. My friend actually recommended this place to me, as it was her favorite acai spot. We tried the acai bowl and the POG bowl. I thought it was very refreshing, especially since it was a hot day, and there was so much fresh fruit too! The only thing that I noticed, at least for my order, was that it had much more granola than other places. I would have liked a little bit less, but that's a personal preference. The inside decor was so vibrant and inviting. The store sold their own coffee beans and shirts. They even sold stickers too (I had to pick one up - it was so cute!). I would have liked to try one of their smoothies but we had too much food. Next time!

The papaya bowls here are LIFE ($9.95). I usually go to the one by my place in Waikiki, but I was in the mall and decided to stop by I've tried almost every bowl on the menu and my go to is the papaya bowl. I forgot to say almond butter but they load them upppp with peanut butter. Such a good, filling, and healthy snack!
