We attended our first polo match on the North Shore and The Streatz food truck was there, so we gave it a try. They had a small menu which made it easier to choose.I chose the Ahi Katsu mini plate with rice and greens. Husband ordered the Ahi Katsu burger and side of fries.My plate was good, nice seasonings, not the best I've had but good. Mini was large enough for me.Husband enjoyed his burger and fresh tomato, lettuce on top. His fries were soggy which was disappointing. The staff was fast and friendly. We'd give it another try in future.

Owner Menel Daquip had truck parked in front of Alii Place on Hotel St.He said that he is there on the 1st Wednesday of each month.I had asked a lady what she ate from here. She said my friend ordered ahi katsu. The menu looked good and saw reviews on Facebook. Got the combo: spicy ahi poke and butter garlic shrimp. Pretty tasty!!! Though, it may be my own preference, I did wish the poke was a but spicier and the shrimp more garlicy/less buttery, but overall good. A bit pricey for a plate lunch but can't complain considering the generous amount given- I had plenty of left overs. I'd come back again to try the other entrees.

Love Kimo, his team, and the food! We hired them to cater our wedding in Kahala and they were amazing. Everyone can't stop talking about how good the spicy poke, beef, and garlic shrimp was. Even my picky Uncle went over for seconds AND to compliment the food. Best part, it was affordable! Kimo was really great at responding to our emails and calls, especially with all of our questions about COVID protocols. His team is fully vaccinated and were on time to the venue.We were so happy that we were able to take home leftovers and Kimo hooked us UP! We will try see if he can cater for our other events and we will for sure promote the heck out of The Streatz.

What a surprise. We were just walking the dogs and there they were....food truck. I asked the guy what kind of food they make and said, "awe you know, comfort food". He was right. I ordered the garlic shrimp, rice, and potato salad. Let me just say, this plate was just as good, if not better then the places up in North Shore. Plates are made to order, and the shrimp was REALLY GOOD. If I was ordered to eat another plate right away, I would be okay with that. The potato salad was made just right for me, and I couldn't imagine not having it with the shrimp, here. Okay...the Brussels Sprouts were RIDICULOUS. Like Inna good way. We ordered two plates, and I think we regretted that we didn't order three. The sprouts were roasted perfectly, and tasted super fresh. These sprouts were also spicy, and I liked it. I loved this place. Thank you!

We booked The Streatz in June 2018 for our wedding in September 2019. We really wanted that casual "food truck" vibe and The Streatz was the perfect option for us! From the beginning, Kimo (owner/chef) was very responsive and professional. I told him our budget per person and he was able to create a delicious menu that worked in our price range. In June 2018 we met him for a tasting and loved everything we tried (bbq hoisin chicken, ahi katsu, fried noodles, furikake steamed rice). From there, we also added on curly fries and a green salad. Later on in the planning process I emailed Kimo asking if he would be able to create mini passed pupus for our cocktail hour. He came up with amazing options! (mini ahi poke bowls (regular an spicy) and garlic shrimp skewers!).The day of the wedding, The Streatz team was incredible! Showed up early, set up a beautiful buffet line in front of the truck, amazing presentation on the pupus, provided garbage removal service for a small additional fee, provided high quality disposable plates, flat wear and napkins and brought enough food and then some! Nothing ran out and everyone raved about how great the food was. We knew the food would be good, but everything from start to finish exceeded all of our expectations! I highly recommend eating here and renting them for your next outdoor event! The Streatz food truck puts out delicious, typical local plate items, perfect for our outdoor company event. We rented them for my husband's company party and the food was made fresh to order for each guest but, it came out fast! The Streatz was the perfect option for us to serve our guests hot food when they wanted and we did not have to fight flies away from food sitting outside, like we would if we had catered food, left out buffet style. They showed up early to set up, everyone was friendly, and they were ready to go when people started ordering. For our event, guests had plate options of garlic shrimp, braised beef with gravy, or mix plate and sides of noodles, greens, and/or potato salad....pretty much whatever you want on your plate (for event rental only). Our guests were so happy. I sampled everything on the menu, and it was all so onolicious!

Got the poke bowl and Brussel sprouts. Sooooooo delicious! Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly!!

Everything at this food truck is outstanding, and I love when they show up at the work center. Most recently, I had the fried brussels sprouts with kimchee sauce and the spicy garlic shrimp. I'm not the biggest fan of shrimp, but this dish was superb, as everything else from Streatz is. I've also had the braised beef plate, ahi katsu plate, poke plate, and cheese burger with fries. The seasonings are on point, the quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable, too, which is something that you don't always find at food trucks out here. Quick and reliable service as well.Wish I had some photos of my many meals here, but I highly recommend this place.

Date: 10/19/2023, Location: Pacific Warfighting Center, Ford Island - I had the cheeseburger deluxe (no onion, no tomato) & French fries today. In my opinion, it was very good. Just the way I liked it. The burger was juicy & the fries crispy with enough salt. I spent $15 on it and was satisfied. There wasn't a line to wait to order. I placed my order & got it within 5 minutes. On another note, the lady who took my order didn't smile much. Oh well... Anyway, the menu was simple but ample choices. Prices are reasonable, but not cheap eats. Streatz is one of the better food trucks on the Island. I recommend them.
