The Salvation Army Kroc Center

My niece loves this place (this is where she had her 5th birthday party), so we took her there on a Monday during her fall break. We got there at around 9:45, and there was a private group in the water play area, and we were told that we couldn't go in until 10 AM. Once they cleared out, the place was empty so I highly recommend going on a weekday. I've never been on a weekend but my sister has told me it gets super crowded. It's not just for kids though. There's also a lazy river you can walk through or use one the floats they provide. Unfortunately, the big water slide isn't open until later, so we didn't get a chance to check that out.You can't bring food into the center but you can always keep a cooler in the car, leave and come back. They clean the pool from 11 to 11:30, so that would be a good time to get lunch. If you don't want to eat in your car, there's a cafe that serves pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. all for a pretty reasonable price.You don't need to be a member to visit the center. You can buy day passes, which is what we did. It's $24/adult and $20/kid, so obviously not something you want to do every week but fun every once in a while to hang out for a few hours.

The Kroc Center is the venue where I do fundraisers for my agency. I work as an Investigator V Type B with the Department of the Attorney General SPID and do events such as booster seat check-ups, safe trick or treats, and cosplay parties for children who are child abuse survivors. I've contracted with them many times. I would go again. The only problem is it's so far.

My neice's baby shower was held at the Kroc. I'm tossed in giving them a higher star rating. A few years ago, I attended a birthday party there. This went off smoothly. And everyone had a great time. Today, the kids did have fun. But , the food came out late. Pizza came out first, and fifteen minutes later, the musubis and bento. They give you a strict time limit. So you would think that the food you have to order through them would be on time. So you have time to enjoy. The trash disposal cans were far away from the cabana we were assigned. My brother-in-law brought out a large trash bag to make it more convenient for the guests. The food was average in taste. The pizza was only warm because of the near 90 degrees heat from the sun. Fun place for kids. Enjoy

Today my niece had her baby shower at the Kroc center run by the Salvation Army . Located in Kapolei actually near the last rail station ha ha . It's like a mini water park with a lazy river ,2 water slides , jacuzzi area and a kids area to play with water guns and buckets filling up and dumping water on you.My niece reserved a cabana area for her shower but it was still hot . By renting Kroc center I guess they have all kinds of party packages. She got the package that came with a bento, pizza, and spam musubi . Along with a container with juice and water .The bento was just ok comes with rice, hot dog, Teri pork, spam , chicken . Support local

I in joyed swimming with my Ohana and meeting with new friends.I so enjoyed the weight lifting experience in the gym with my Ohana and friends.Sometimes they also have some great giveaways for the holiday time food giveaway that is a great way to celebrate with the community as they celebrate with everyone who wants to join in.

Just an awesome place for the family to hangout and enjoy the west side sun. Nice size pool and slides for the kids with just the right depth, Not too deep for the little ones to enjoy. Two lazy river channels, with a whirlpool and splash channel. Parents can also get in on the fun. Gym is also available for your summer bod needs lol. After a nice session at the gym, you can relax in their jacuzzi or swim a few laps in the main pool. Lots of other amenities to utilize.

Terrible business to throw a kid's birthday party. I threw one about a decade ago when they first opened and the workers were well-trained, polite and we had an overall amazing experience.This time around the staff at the pool were unhelpful, rude and even ignored guests at times. This is the first establishment that I've thrown a party at - that did not live up to expectations. Kroc Center has hired young, inexperienced customer service employees. Very disappointed especially with the cost of the package. Would not recommend to anyone, ever. Too bad, the pool and water play area is so nice. But, again - NEVER AGAIN!

It's OK.. pool could be cleaner.. . I appreciate the security guard there since the school kids pile up .. I wish they opened earlier and had a wet/dry sauna.. I joined 24 hr fitness as well because of that lack.

We attend the Kroc Centre daily to access the gym and pool services. The schedule for the water park is a little strange however the kids seem to really enjoy it. Family washrooms are locked until you request that they're opened which is a little inconvenient but a bathroom attendant usually arrives very soon after being requested. The childcare centre is an added benefit of the Kroc Centre, however, it would be better if the daycare fees were included in the price of a membership. Overall, the Kroc centre is great.

Tips for first timers:Day pass adults $24 (need ID)Day pass kids $20Bring your own lock (or you can buy one there for $7.95) to use their free lockers. Free parking No outside food allowed. They have their own cafe with snacks like hotdog, burgers, pizzas and musubi etc. (menu on their website)They have outside umbrellas and chairs. Can't bring your own. They provide tubes for lazy pool and water slides. Water slide only on weekends (Fri 2pm, Sat & Sun all day)Water fountain play starts from 12 noon everyday. Clean and friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay and will be going back again soon!
