Great hangout...Once known as The Row Bar, The Row has changed it's last name to Kaka'ako though there is a grey area of the location being in downtown it's all the same as it's the center of attention in Waterfront Plaza.A great place to hangout after a long day this outdoor bar isn't really the place for the view but a place to lounge and enjoy the rest of your day as they do have some collaboration sometimes with local vendors like on this day was with Bing Mi 808 which makes Jianbing which is a popular Chinese street food somewhat like a crepe filled with savory items.I ordered my Jianbing and grabbed a seat at the bar which the staff was very nice and friendly though I did have a gathering in a few hours so could't stay but did enjoy the vibe here.Thank you!

Shopping and dining in Honolulu, Hawaii...Restaurant Row is currently named Waterfront Plaza. To me, this will always be Restaurant Row.It's like Pearlridge Uptown and Pearlridge Downtown... I cannot remember the new Hawaiian names for that mall... LOL...I guess I'm Old School. I want to remember Restaurant Row for the fun times we had at Studebaker's... haha... if you can remember that Restaurant/dancing place with the black and white checkered floor, then... you might have great memories like I have...It was so crazy one night that I lost my parking ticket and had to pay a lot for "lost ticket".Ouch...Well, Restaurant Row now has new eateries such as: The Porch, Carval Cafe, Aloha Mamacita, and @sushi.Ruth's Chris Steak House is still there... Thank goodness that some things don't change!Another new thing: pay for parking at the kiosk before you get to the car

Since when did they change the name from Restaurant Row to Waterfront Plaza???It's been years since I've come to this complex to look around and eat at a business. So much has changed in the last 25+ years as there is an array of different eatery businesses from what I remembered from back-in-da-dayz and the nightclubs like - Oceans Club, Blue Zebra, Studebaker's, Mystic (Mahalo Ruby S. for reminding me!) and my all-time personal FAVORITE - World Cafe are a thing of the past.I think the only business I currently recognize at Waterfront Plaza is good 'ol - Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The complex & parking structure hasn't changed much through the years, and the complex appears to be well maintained.Besides the various eateries, there are some law offices, financial services, health care services, and educational/publication services. Here's a link to help you see the various businesses at Waterfront Plaza -https://waterfrontplazahawaii.com/whats-here/Or you can look at my Yelp buddy - Da FAMOUS Auntie, Nadine C.'s review, as she posted a great directory picture of the various eatery businesses at Waterfront Plaza (Restaurant Row).If you're in the area, it's worth the time to drop by to check out the various businesses and support local.

I can't believe the Row bar is still around after all these years. I came here on a Friday evening to unwind with my work buddies. Open air is always nice but we noticed there were quite a bit of cigar smokers at this bar. Wait a minute, no cigarette smoking but cigar smoking is allowed? I need to go review the Hawaii statue on this.Row bar serves strictly drinks. They provide menu for an Ahi place nearby but you have to go there, order, and bring the food back. Another option is Aloha Mamacita, a Mexican takeout near the parking entrance. Row bar lets you bring outside food basically. They do offer Happy hour discount which was nice but not sure about the cigar smoking atmosphere.

What an awesome spot! An open air outdoor dining bar. I came here for the super bowl and the vibe was awesome! They had giveaways from bud light (beach chairs, Kona yeti cooler, a Stella Artois pizza oven, shirts, and free beers)! The bar is all open air so there's no AC if you're wondering what to wear. Parking was easy as I just parked in the street for free but they also have a parking garage, which I am not sure if they validate parking for. But this bar was fun, has TVs everywhere so you can see and hear whatever you may be watching for a big sporting event, and I believe they allowed people to bring in outside food. Since it is in a business plaza it may be busier during the week after work. I will definitely be back!

Beers on tap are still around $6. The biggest change is that there are no more food options as Tamira's pulled out. You can bring your own food. So if you're ok with drinking, smoking cigars (we are) and watching a game on the screen, this is the place for you.

They could improve on EVERYTHING, starting with service. Went to catch the end of today's game (Seattle vs Detroit). Sat at the bar for 20+ minutes before being acknowledged by one of the three (x3) bartenders, and no they were not crazy busy; simply inattentive.Placed my order for a beer and shot, and was subsequently told "we are out of beer." Okay, I will still do the shot. Waited another 15+ minutes, before being asked again, "oh do you still want your drink?"Really? At that point, I said no thank you, I would simply like my parking validated. I was then told by a very sassy could'nt give a damn less, cute little skinny bartender, "sorry, I cannot validate your parking without you ordering a drink." I did order a drink, I just never got it. Long story short, WORST BAR EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE and I am 68 years old. I will highly recommend that my friends stay away from this place which I understand is to be renovated over the coming month. They may want to consider some customer service training before they reopen...

Fine, outdoor experience. Service was very helpful and friendly. They sub their food out to an establishment next door. Which is not bad.I would not call this a cigar bar though. It's a cigar friendly bar. Big difference. They do not sell cigars, they had one lighter and the cigar cutter was a basic cigar slider that gouges the cigar enough to allow one to technically smoke but gives the cigar an open wound feel to it. My Ashton had the wonderful experience in unraveling throughout the experience. They have fans set up all over that either control the smoke or cool the patrons at the bar, either way, not exactly conducive to a great cigar smoking experience. Perhaps sitting at the outlying table would be better.
