If you are looking for a place to get real relief in a short time - The Pain Relief Center with Kevin and Jennifer is the place to go. I have been fortunate to get body work done by both and each time had amazing results and relief! The work that Kevin does is a whole level up from most massage work I have had done - which is extensive. He uses a variety of tools but it's mostly the radar in his hands that knows exactly where to release the tension, knots or other issues I may be having. As a runner, I always have something going on that needs quick results and I know where to go to make that happen. Don't hesitate to go to the pain relief center for a wide variety of treatment options.

Finding this place is an adventure in itself, but just enter through the half open green gate where you see all those mopeds. The Pain Relief Center is located in the left with a Bamboo fence on both sides of the entrance.I had an appointment with Kevin that day, I found this place cozy and welcoming. The massage was a pressure point type and he really knows how to put just enough pressure on those knots and places on your body. You don't realize how much tension you've been carrying until you see him working those areas.Overall a great massage and felt like I worked out gym the day after, love that feeling of working those unused muscles. I would recommend this place for people with aches, pains or just need a good body tune up.

I found the pain relief center during a trip to Honolulu---I was suffering from severe discomfort in my calf due to a baker's cyst.My appointment was with Kevin. Kevin is a gentle soul with a healer's touch. He gave me a deep-tissue massage with a variety of healing oils. I felt amazing after the massage and my pain was greatly reduced. Kevin is also very intuitive. He tapped into what might be the underlying cause of my discomfort and pain. It was spot on!I went back for a second session as my trip was coming to an end and I am excited to say my journey home was a 60% improvement in pain and all I can attribute it to is Kevin and his healing abilities. I wish I lived in Honolulu--Kevin would be my go-to for my wellness needs!

They took me within a day, which was great because I was in great pain. Jennifer worked on me and it was great. She did different techniques to work on the pain and trying to get all my knots out. The oils she used were great while while massage me.She even used athletic tape after my session was over. I feel much better and was told I would feel even better tomorrow.

I called George several months ago trying to schedule an appt. He told me don't give up. I finally was so glad to have everything work out with the insurance due to Kevin taking me upon my word. It was the best massage I ever had! He hit all the trouble spots. Kevin is a gentle giant and applied just t right amount of pressure to give you relief. He said to let him know if it was too much. The next day I felt no pain from the accident or the massage. I felt so relaxed and pain free.He has great attitude, karma, vibes and caring.I would recommend him to anyone who wants to have pain relief.Thank you, Kevin!

If you don't need or want new clients, prefer a straightforward approach rather than passive aggressively wasting my time. Appointment #1 was fine. The massage helped loosen tightness and ease pain. If you're the type of client this business must prefer, then it should be fine. Otherwise, you'll be as disappointed as I am. Appointment #2 was canceled by the massage therapist. OK. These things happen. Appointment #3 never happened. I arrived five minutes after the appointment time. Parking is always tight along Kapahulu but it was surprisingly so for a Sunday, so I was a bit late. I sat on one of the tall stools in the hot waiting room thinking for sure the security camera or motion detector high on the wall would announce my arrival. I could hear footsteps up in the treatment area and sometimes laughing. I sat on that uncomfortable stool for FORTY-FIVE MINUTES! Didn't do much for my state of back and leg pain. Finally gave up and started looking for something to leave a note when the massage therapist came out. He suggested I reschedule! Excuse me? Don't think so. Obviously, I'm not a client worth working with. Should have said so before blowing off two scheduled appointments and wasting time I could have spent running errands. Other than that, there are other issues. As noted, parking is limited to street meters, a pay lot and, if you're lucky, a free space on a side street. Or take the bus. If you have trouble with stairs or use a walker, getting to the waiting room is a fourteen step climb. Another seven or eight to get to the treatment rooms. The only way someone in a wheelchair can get there is to be carried up the narrow, winding stairs, virtually impossible. As I already mentioned, two tall stools are the only seats in the waiting room and not very comfortable. No AC or cross breezes in the waiting room so it wasn't long before profuse sweating sets in. The entry is alongside that gritty moped rental shop everyone's seen on Kapahulu. It's a bit off putting, past an auto undergoing rehab and grounds littered with dead leaves.

This was unlike any massage I've ever had before! I realized after talking to my therapist for the day, Jennifer C, this place specializes in all types of body work. Body manipulation, reiki, acupuncture, energy cleansing this place does it all! 6 hours after my massage I'm sore but in the best way possible. Pricing starts at $90 an hour but it was so worth it! My muscles are less tense, I feel nice and relaxed and I would totally return. Located next to moped direct it's actually down a small alley and located in what looks like used to be an apartment building. It's a cute space and Jennifer C is super helpful!! She's also really, really strong so don't let her petite frame fool u. Highly recommend and if you check in on yelp you'll get a free offer for aromatherapy! Thank you Jenn!

I had a most awesome two-hour massage by Kevin. I was completely relaxed, and relieved of the tension in my shoulders and upper back by its end.I usually like a deep--but not too deep--pressure, and Kevin was a master at finding the spots that needed the extra umph. After his first pass on my upper back I told him we'd for sure be longtime friends afterwards. LOL. He was also super personable and very easy to talk with. GO SEE HIM RIGHT MEOW!And tell him Junior sent you.

I'm quite disappointed in the business practices here. I was recommended to them by two friends and fellow runners because I've had an insanely difficult past two years with my health, and it's taken its toll. I emailed this business - writing an explanation of what I'm going through, twice and didn't receive a response. Thinking there is perhaps something wrong, the third time, I wrote the following message."Hello, I've emailed you a few times now as I've been hoping to connect. If your practice is full or there is some other reason that there has been no response, would you please just let me know, so I move on. Thank you." Response by business-- "Thanks for the message, This is the first time I've heard from you. We're not interested at this time."The response I received was so unprofessional and unkind. A simple response of "sorry we've had trouble connecting" or "We didn't receive your messages, our practice is full, but good luck on your journey to finding relief" would have been fine. But this? You're in the business of working with patients who are suffering a bit, in pain, and this is your response? Come on, a bit more courtesy and professionalism would've been great. At least include your name--seriously lacking Aloha, what a disappointment.
