Everything! Our host, the surf instructor, the wait staff - everyone was friendly, kind and accommodating. We can't wait to go back!

The LineUp at Wai Kai is so much fun for the entire family. I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time. The obstacles are so much fun and it's almost impossible to stay dry. You can climb ropes, swing from monkey bars, go down slides and jump off high peaks. Everyone gets a life vest too so you don't have to be an excellent swimmer if that makes you nervous. There's also a nice little beachy area with lounge chairs if you'd rather stay dry and get some sun, or shade. There is a cute little food and drink area as well as showers, changing rooms and lockers for additional things.

Decided we wanted to go someplace different than the standard strip mall restaurants for dinner this past Saturday. Seated at a table by window so we could watch the more experienced surfers and the ones new to it.Very friendly woman took our order of three appetizers and drinks. Enjoyed watching the surfers while we waited for our meal of Kailua Pork Sliders. Mochiko Fried Chicken and Avocado Crunch to arrive. The Pork Sliders were good and had a slaw to add to the dish. The Avocado Crunch was fresh and tasty. The star was the Mochiko Fried Chicken. It was slightly overcooked but still delish. All the staff were very friendly and supported the relaxed and entertaining experience

I swear I thought I reviewed this place already. For some reason I can't find it. I've been here many times. Even twice in one day. It's been a couple months and I'm overdue. There's a short rib dish that's my new favorite along with the cole slaw but, I'll say I haven't had anything I didn't enjoy there.Try the Cole slaw. I've even asked for a side order of Cole slaw just warning you that there's a small kick to it but minima

Yes you see it Trey Songz performed on 12-29-2023. Great concert and line up. The concert was 6:30pm to 11pm. We decided to go get food before the concert and take pics. They had a beautiful Christmas photo setup. I took pic there and then headed to the wave bar for food. The line was short and prices were reasonable. After your food and drinks are order they give you given a buzzer. You find a table and they bring your order to you. The food was hot and delicious. Especially the chicken omg. I couldn't stop eating the chicken. The drink was good as well not overpowering and not watered down either. The weather was perfect and the scenery amazing. They have the concert area on the lawn, two restaurants, the surfing wave pool and paddle boarding. It offers glow in the dark paddle boarding as well as paddle boating to cabanas. The concert area has drink as well. So you didn't have to go back to get drinks at the restaurant. They have their own parking lot and additional paid parking area. If you get there early don't pay for parking or at least wait until you get there to pay. I paid in advance a for parking and the paid parking wasn't open yet. I ended up parking in normal parking lot and lost my $25 parking I paid in advance for. I'm not sure if they normally have DUI check in the neighborhood leaving but after the concert they did. So drive sober if going to concert there or Uber. If you are GA for concert you can bring blankets to hang out on the lawn. Overall I loved it and will be returning!

Overall, the family had an amazing time. The obstacle course was fun and they could spend hours on it. It never felt crowded in the open environment. Unfortunately, there is not enough seating available along the sand or patio table seating. Shade is also extremely limited. The food at the Cafe, especially the Burgers were affordable and delicious. The wait for food was on the longer side, so more food preparation before the mandatory breaks would be helpful to cut wait times. Overall it was a fun & memorable experience!

Came to celebrate my cousins birthday. Jo was a great waitress! Catered to our needs & always had a smile on her face. Food was okay, could've had more flavor.. their Kalua pig was a bit dry but the lomi salmon was delicious! Took 2 stars off because we had to constantly flag someone down just to refill our waters even when they offered. They would ask then forget to even do it.

It's a great facility and well organized but to a first time visitor it is impossible to know how physically taxing the experience is and how easy it is to fall hard and in unexpected ways. The risk of injury is high for someone who weighs more or is older. It's great for ages 9 and up who are physically very fit and mobile. It's really hard to use the "step" to exit the water that requires clambering and hauling oneself out. I don't recommend participating without a buddy who is agile and can assist. There was a lifeguard but there's a big gap between being at risk of drowning and struggling to get back up onto the floating structure without any safety support around, especially further from the entrance.

Really helpful staff. Great times and good vibes. Did a 45 min session on the 65ft Channel, helmet and softop boards were included staff was extremely helpful with getting me on the wave, and showing with the ropes. Constantly giving advice each time I fell. Totally worth it. I was also able to join my family at the water obstacle course afterwards. Which they had a blast and I did too. Very humbling haha. Fun place, great staff, and good vibes. Will be coming back
