The Hangar

I had my son's 16th birthday here on Friday. Lots of Fun, Great Service & Good food!! We started off with Bowling, to pool table then darts. Fun for Kids and Adults!! We'll definitely be back!!

The 1st time I went here was for a company patty and I got to say hands down I had a great time there was something for everyone to do lots of space to socialize staff members where helpful and great food was off the chain I loved there bbq wings. I do treat myself there for lunch once a week. When I'm wheeler check them out. I do suggest check there hours of operation for the weekend/weekend.

10.26.19 Ride night manager that wear pigtails. Disrespect employees in front of customers numerous of times. She is very rude and nasty. Will NEVER return to this business. My spouse saw her sweep floor and cook our food with same glove. We didn't take food and she was very upset. ONLY GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE IT WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD POST!!

Food has been alright the few times I went here. Came in today and stood at the counter while the employees stood on their phones in the kitchen, I guess they didn't want my money.

Cool atmosphere with pool tables, darts, and bowling. Good little food menu and bar area. Easy place to make a regular hang out.

Upon entering the hangar excitement came over my family and I. It looked promising with the stylish airplane theme, the bowling lanes, and the decorated bar. However, the excitement quickly withdrew with the ordering and arrival of our food. Firstly, they had run out of various things such as pizza (due to a broken pizza oven), Turkey which they had offered as one of their new specials, and they had not been able to offer my family and i fountain drinks due to it not being operational. When our food finally came out we were disappointed yet again the fries we had order were colder than my drink, our chicken drier than a desert, and to top it off some of our meals weren't right and we had to return them to the front and request the correct meals. Upon further inspection we notice the manager in the back chilling out on her phone instead of displaying the proper leadership needed to help prepare the meals the right way. The hangar was promising at first the redone bowling alley/restaurant really seemed good but the overhaul should've been focused on the staff/food instead.

I called to inquire about having a party at the Hangar. This call took place on 07/25/2017. The lady who answered was not friendly at all. She was rude and sounded annoyed having to answer my questions. I read online that although they are closed on the weekends, they open for private parties or special events. When I asked her about it, she said they do not open on the weekends. I let her know that the website said they can open for private events and I would like an 8-10 hour duration. She responded by saying " I told you, we aren't open on the weekends. We don't have staff to open on the weekends." She did not ask about a date regarding the party to even consider the possibility and/or offer taking down my name and number to inform her manager of this inquiry. I have never felt so unwelcomed or disregarded. She needs to go back to customer service 101! I understand what it is like to be overworked and understaffed, but everyone can benefit by tactfully wording responses to ensure customer satisfaction...or if you are incapable/uncomfortable with doing so, allow management to do it. If she had simply said " you know what, i am really sorry, but we are really understaffed and currently not taking any weekend reservations right now, but let me take down your information so that my manager can consider any possibilities." than i would have hung up the phone happy. I hardly ever write Yelp Reviews, let alone negative ones, but this situation bothered me for the rest of the day. Hopefully this will allow the employee to learn that every call reflects upon the establishment and how they value their customers.

Taking the time to write my very first review because this place deserves it! Had my son's 1st birthday party here and everything turned out great! This place is normally closed on weekends, but will open for special functions. A staff of five came in on a Saturday and did a wonderful job. They were all very friendly and helpful. The pluses: nice/new/clean facility, good food (we ordered the roast pork, shoyu chicken, teri meatballs, fried noodles, tossed/mac salad, rice), nice workers, alcohol avail for purchase, big TV screens all around, separate bowling and entertaining areas. They will also allow you to connect a laptop/phone to their audio visual system so you can play your own music or put up a slideshow. Some drawbacks: with the exception of desserts, you must cater all your food from here (good thing it was delicious!) and you can't take home any leftovers per DoD policy. Lastly, I don't think they have any baby changing stations. I didn't look too hard or ask though, so it could be that I just didn't see it. Overall, excellent place for a party!
