BEST. AMAZING. LOVE. I really can't say enough good things about TGA, truly. If you're considering a wedding planner at all, TGA are the ones to bring in. We used TGA and their associated businesses for nearly everything, and everything was beyond wonderful! Zabrina, Kala'i, and the whole TGA crew were amazing every step of the way, and executed a dream wedding for us. We could not have imagined anything better than what they created, and I loved every moment of it. They took our idea for a theme (Volcanos National Park) and brought it to life in the most elegant and beautiful way. It was immaculate. They even navigated us through an emergency venue change for the ceremony on a few days notice!!! They were so seamless with options and suggestions, and were able to pivot so easily (at least from my perspective, though I'm sure it was much more work on their side!). I had zero worries about it because I knew whatever they could arrange would be completely perfect, and it was.TGA Florals took care of all of the flowers except for my bouquet, which was a gift from one of my friends. Everything they did was stunning, and my lei po'o was particularly gorgeous. I even wore it the day after for our after party boat day because it was so beautiful I didn't want to get rid of it. WedCycle was perfect for all the small details that make a beautiful setting but the large rental companies don't cover. Since leaving as small a footprint as possible was one of my goals for the wedding, WedCycle did wonders where we would have otherwise had to purchase and donate votives, candles, etc. or had empty tables. Selection was great too (as were Zabrina and Ipo looking at what I got on the site and kindly saying "those won't be cute for you, get these instead." Lol). The Mahu Kahu was our officiant, and Ipo was wonderful! She worked with us to make the exact service we wanted: intimate, personal, not super traditional, private vows, with a beautiful Hawaiian prayer. My mom even particularly commented how much she loved Ipo and how lovely she and the service were, and I always think sweet call outs from Mom hit a bit different. =) I loved my time with these folks, and if we ever have cause to have an event again, I know who I'm texting immediately!

The BEST Wedding planners you could dream of!We are extremely lucky to have worked with Zabrina and the TGA staff in order to plan a Hawaii destination wedding on the North Shore within 6 months!Zabrina is a trail blazer for the LGBTQ+ community. As a gay couple, it can be very difficult to navigate the wedding and bridal industry. It is also very difficult to plan a Hawaii destination wedding when you are a Healthcare Provider. However, Zabrina is EXTREMELY organized, professional, passionate, caring, and thoughtful that she made our wedding planning experience very smooth and easy! Given her experience and connections, we were able to plan such an unique and one-of-a-kind wedding with memorable creative details at a very budget friendly cost. As a couple, we can have high standards and expectations since its such an important and personal event. Zabrina and her team went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

I don't even know where to begin in praising this team. When I started my search for a wedding coordinator and officiant in Hawaii, I was so discouraged because nearly all of them excluded images of LGBTQ ceremonies. I understand that many companies are afraid to offend conservative clients, but it became a hard line for me. By chance, we came across The Gay Agenda and I was ecstatic. Zabrina cares about the things that me and my now husband do. She introduced us to her fabulous wife, Ipo, who ended up being our officiant. It was very important to me to have as many LGBTQ people behind the scenes as possible. Because of self-induced chaos, we had many hiccups that resulted in a desire for venue and ceremony changes the WEEK OF our wedding. Zabrina rolled with it and made it all happen somehow. I want to get married again just to work with them! HAHA! We are so thankful to have found this team and I wish you all the most success in all you do!!!

As I was scrolling through my wedding photos this morning I was thinking about how blessed we were to have such an amazing team helping us coordinate and run our wedding. Zabrina, Ipo, and their team were so helpful, kind, accommodating, reassuring, and fun! Our wedding was at the end of 2021 which was insane with all the regulations going on. BUT they really did take on each challenge and made us feel confident that our perfect wedding was going to happen regardless, and it did. We love how they are passionate about inclusiveness, sustainability, and especially taking care of Hawaii and their people. We highly suggest you hire The Gay Agenda for your wedding and events!!

TGA was AMAZING!! It was a blast planning our wedding and working with Zabrina and Kala'i. They were kind, patient and easy going, which definitely help alleviate any stress we had built up.I first saw TGA on TikTok and Instagram in 2022. Being born and raised in Hawaii, it was important for us to get married on Oahu since majority of my family still lived here. When we first got engaged, it was not only important to find a wedding planner that could help us out from afar but also a wedding planner that included inclusivity, especially with the LGBTQ+ community. Thank goodness for social media because TGA's videos popped up on my feed again. We KNEW we had to work with them.During the process of planning, TGA saw the vision that we wanted. We loved that they had a "preferred vendors" list, which helped us make decisions on who to choose. It took stress off of our shoulders knowing that these vendors were "TGA approved" and were inclusive and supportive. TGA was very communicative and was flexible around our schedules, especially with our time difference. The day of the wedding went great and as planned. Zabrina and Kala'i were great and was there to support us throughout the entire day. TGA coordinated with our "people" who were in charge of taking some of our belongings. Zabrina got everything together and sent us on our way with our things at the end of the night.TGA fell in love with the concept of having our fur baby represented on our wedding day and we will be sending updates on our fur baby because how can we not.

Since we live in California, we both decided its best to hire coordinator(s) since we were getting married on the Big Island. We found The Gay Agenda Collective (TGA) on Tiktok when we first got engaged (2021). We reached out to them late 2022 when we started planning our wedding. Initially we met Zabrina and she is super sweet and bubbly. She went over what TGA has to offer in services and was not pushy during our initial meeting. What made us choose her was her calm/chill/confident energy she radiated during the meeting that made us feel at ease and comfortable that they'd get sh*t done, if needed. We opted for the day of coordination, which included a month of meeting and planning with the TGA team. Our main point of contact at this point was Malia. She was so nice, accommodating and knowledgeable while helping us finalize wedding details. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth wedding day. Our TGA team was Malia, Emma, and Kala'i. We were so thankful to have them! Once we arrived to the venue they took everything off our hands and made sure everything was set in the right place. Prior to this, Malia showed us her extensive checklist that included a timeline with ALL the vendors and what they were bringing and what time they should be arriving. Every meeting really showed in all the minor details they put into this checklist/timeline curated to ensure our wedding went smooth. During our wedding rehearsal, Malia made sure our court knew what they were doing and where they had to be. It helped out a lot because no one really had questions the day of. We knew exactly what was going to happen and what time things would happen, thanks to Malia for setting up our timeline. TGA team even helped me bust a mission to use the restroom without having the guests see me before the ceremony. After the ceremony, Malia and the team made sure my partner and I were fed apps and dinner. Honestly, our wedding + wedding guests (120) got a little crazy during the reception, Malia, Emma, and Kala'i held it down for us and handled us while my partner and I were drunk, lol! They helped set up to cleaning up to make sure the venue was back to what it was before we came. Definitely appreciate all of their efforts they put in that wedding weekend. Hands down, one of our top favorite vendor we booked for our wedding! If you're wondering if you should meet or book TGA, you definitely should and will not regret it. Definitely book in advanced because they were booked and busy () when we had to fit in wedding planning meetings. They made our life easier with wedding planning. We enjoyed working with all of them!! Thank you again Zabrina, Malia, Emma and Kala'i for all the hard work to make our special day run smoothly!

My partner and I live in Seattle but we decided to get married home in HI since that's where most of our family is. (I personally wanted to elope but my partner is old fashioned and wanted to invite all of our family and friends lol).I have a background in event planning (albeit, not with weddings, which have their own unique considerations) so I had originally planned to just work with the venue coordinator for whatever venue we went with. After a very frustrating, disappointing experience with a potential venue while we were home in HI a year before our planned wedding date, I decided to search for a third-party wedding coordinator. I actually found TGAC while searching for wedding coordinators on Yelp while we were driving away from our not-great venue experience. What drew me to TGAC was that I wanted to support a business with values that aligned with my own. TGAC is queer and Kānaka owned, stewards sustainable wedding practices, and focuses on weddings that honor and celebrate couples' uniqueness, even aspects may not align with traditional wedding standards. Plus have you seen their IG? So funny, cute, and informative! Full of great inspo. The planning resources they provide are very useful, especially for folks that may feel overwhelmed with where to start in regards to how to prioritize invitations, create a budget, create seating charts, etc. Though I feel like I could've gone with the shorter/less-expensive packages, I'm glad I went with the three-month package. The three months allowed us more spaciousness to focus on things like planning our rehearsal lunch, managing RSVPs, virtually wrangling our wedding party for their outfit fittings, etc. while we handed off more of the vendor communication and administrative tracking to their team. The three months also allowed us to become familiar with Malia (our coordinator) and make sure that everyone was on the same page.We also booked their sister companies for our wedding:- Wedcycle Hawaiʻi: wedding decor rentals (better for the environment and your budget! tons of cute, useful items)- The Mahu Kahu: officiant services

One of my close friends recently got married and her and her Partner chose the Gay Agenda Collective to help them plan their wedding. I was lucky to be invited to be a bridesmaid. Throughout the entirety of the process, Malia and Emma Rose were super communicative, thoughtful, creative, accommodating and just overall amazing planners. They really went out of their way to make the event special for my Friends and we appreciated it. From start to finish, they made sure to center the Brides and their vision. The rehearsal was fairly easy and seamless. They answered all our questions and made sure we knew where we were going and what we should be doing. On the day of the wedding- totally out of their control- there was a ton of rain. But that was not a problem for Malia and Emma Rose's quick thinking and planning. They pivoted EVERYTHING the morning of to make sure that all of the Brides priorities/non-negotiables were still intact, that everything looked amazing and that the show still went on. They did such an incredible job and my Friends got to have the wedding of their dreams. During the entire event Malia and Emma Rose handled everything with grace, courtesy, wonderful communication, and class. They were also extremely kind, and fun! At one point they were put in the uncomfortable position of having to escort a wedding crasher out and did so the in kindest way possible. Everything we needed during the wedding, they helped us with, and made sure no question went unanswered. Constantly checking in with the Brides the day before and day of the wedding to make sure they were aware of all updates and knew what the plan would be to ease any worries or anxiety. I can't recommend the Gay Agenda enough!!

The Gay Agenda made our wedding dreams come true! They were such a joy to work with--kind, passionate, and incredibly detail-oriented.We tend to get overwhelmed with choices, but they made the entire planning process so easy. Their suggestions for vendors, including our venue, makeup artists, photographers, and florals, were all spot-on. They clearly know their stuff and have a real knack for tailoring recommendations to fit their clients' vision. On the day of the wedding, everything came together beautifully. Our guests were blown away by how gorgeous it all looked, and we could feel the pride The Gay Agenda takes in their work in every detail. If you want planners who genuinely care and will make your wedding magical, hire them--you won't regret it!
