The Cafe at Dada

Cafe at Dada is located in the Dada spa and salon at the Ala Moana Hotel. The atmosphere is very casual and the cafe is small but comfortable. The service was excellent.I had the hot pastrami sandwich with salad. It tasted good but was nothing special. The salad was a small pile of greens with dressing on the side. Both the sandwich and the salad were modest in size. Having recently visited New York, I think my expectations were too high and this pastrami sandwich was not worth the $20. I also tried some of the Dada salad, which also was good but not worth the $19. Unfortunately, there are so many other sandwich places in Honolulu that offer more for the same price, or even lower.

The mixed green salad made a perfect lunch after a day of shopping. The burger was very delicious, and I heard the bun was handmade by the chef behind the counter.

baked fresh every morning apple scone! All stars for out of the oven ʻonolicious goodness! Nice crust around and softer inside. The inside is not cakey and its not real crumbly. Friends had the denver omelette and tried a bit of it. Its good. Typical of a denver omelette taste and nothing real special. Itʻs on the small size. The bacon and portuguese sausage are comforting complements.The coffee is fresh! Canʻt go wrong with good coffee! Breakfast meals are pricey around $15-20.

Self care part two...After my salon service at Dada Spa Salon with Marlo and feeling really good why not chill right next door at The Cafe at Dada...yes the cafe is located in Ala Moana Hotel third floor right beside Dada Spa Salon not inside as you may image and is open daily from 7am to 8pm.For those late risers...they serve breakfast all day! Yes Strawberry French Toast, Omelette, Breakfast Sandwich and more though I was looking more at their Vegetarian Pizza, Frankie Pasta but went with Asian Pork Belly Taco and these three tacos is filled with Braised Pork Belly on some fresh lettuce is topped with cilantro and green onions is just a light and refreshing bite that needed no additional sauce as the flavor is just right and I enjoyed thoroughly.Though they have a great selection of grab and go drinks not including crafted coffee, tea and frappe drinks you can grab some alcohol as well making this a place to cheers to I decided to try these cute and tiny Choux Au Craquelin which is like a biscuit cream puff and was just delicious as the filling is not too sweet along with fresh strawberries and raspberries it came with two pieces lol so I shared one with BunBun :-)What a wonderful place to chill or celebrate as this informal cafe serves up some classy yummy bites.Thank you!

This is hidden gem in Honolulu! Having stayed at the Ala Moana for various events in the past, I always love to rely on this cafe when I don't feel like walking to the mall food court and want something quick. I sometimes order online and then go down to pick it up. I've had their flatbread pizzas and my favorite the Chinese chicken salad. I crave that salad even after I've returned home it's so delicious!!! So much crunch with the fried wonton strips and a nice mix of greens, almonds, cilantro, and chicken and an Asian peanut sauce dressing. There are always mouth watering desserts in their display case and I've ordered a few of those too. I've brought my computer here a few times to do work while eating as the ambiance is informal yet very comfortable with a couple of tables but the place is rarely ever full. I believe you can order food from here and have it delivered to you poolside which is nice. Such a cute little place. Service is always courteous and quick. Have been eyeing the strawberry French toast and will need to try that next time!

After eating so much heavy Hawaii food I was so happy to find this cafe in the hotel. Found the restaurant on the 3rd floor of Ala Moana Hotel, right next to the Dada Salon. It's a cute little cafe. Staff was friendly and got my order out super quick. I ordered an Açaí bowl, minus the coconut and IT HIT THE SPOT!

I only give a 3 star when I'm not happy. Last night we got in the hotel and we were so tired that we just wanted to eat fast. One of the ladies that was with me had never tried pork belly tacos and I told her they were great so we ordered them. Pork belly needs to be cooked properly so that it is tender to eat and you don't have to chew for ever to get it down. I have had pork belly a lot and this was the worst I had ever eaten. It was too tough to chew. I felt bad for my friend that had never had it before. I am going to go shopping around for my next meal thank you very much.

The BLT Croissant was delicious, it was accompanied with a side salad. Their caramel macchiato was also really tasty.

I love this little cafe .. this isn't my first time here .. as I keep coming back for their Pastrami sandwich. They have one of the best Pastrami sandwiches on the island. Although not a big place .. we always manage to find a table when we come for lunch. And it's a nice place to dine and chat with friends .. besides their food is good too. They also have a small dinner menu besides the sandwiches and the breakfast menu. Small menu but good variety !

How sad....Cashier was raving about how good the açaí bowl is, so I ordered it. What açaí bowl? I barely had any açaí. Either they were lazy to actually make it or their portion is very small . Like what they say out here after every sentence, Disappointing "yea". 2 stars tho cause it was pretty good "yea"
