The food is phenomenal. Chef Terry brings a level of excellence in every bite. The ribeye steak is cooked to perfection every time. The service is friendly and on point. The art and ambiance of the restaurant feels sophisticated and cozy at the same time. It's a real gem of a spot. Their live music is always filled with talented local artists making it a wonderful date night spot and great for families events.

100/10 would HIGHLY RECOMMENDChef Terry's rotating Menu and the cocktails are UNMATCHED!Friends and I visiting from SD came to check out the Boardroom during our stay in HI and I did not disappoint. All the food was amazing and the Ube Painkiller *chef's kiss Coming from SD, Foodie Heaven, the Boardroom was top tier. We have the 4-course meal option (app, soup, entree, and dessert), everything brought to the table was amazing. The Honey Shrimp Linguine was simply amazing. Every plate was the perfect combination of artistry and home-cooked meal. If that home-cooked meal was made by a Michelin Star level Chef and team. Chef Terry was extremely welcoming and even got to know her background. Synopsis: 8-year Navy Vet, went to culinary school, cut her teeth in some of the best kitchens in Los Angeles AND Europe (crazy). If you watched "The Bear", it's like that in real life.

I finally went back to The Boardroom after more than 6 months to see how they're doing. My buddy and I went out to enjoy HH at another establishment, then top the night off with some bone marrow and cocktails at The Boardroom. The vibe is a bit more subdued than a year ago, but it's still classy. The menu has gone thru some changes, but it still offers my favorites; bone marrow and oysters that aren't offered at many other establishments. As with most bars and restaurants, the prices have gone up, and the portion size has gotten smaller, but that's unfortunately pretty common. The quality is still great, which is a definite plus. The bar was full, so we took the corner table. The manager, Grant, was still there, and they have several new wait staff and a bartender. The staff is friendly and the service is still good.I had the Ohia Revival, which was the first cocktail I tried there, years ago, while my buddy tried one of their new whiskey cocktails. They were both good, as was the bone marrow. They have started a new program to incentivize reviews on social media. They gave me a card for a comp appetizer on the next visit, but I have to show a review. All in all, it was a nice evening and I hope they have much success.

The vibe at the Boardroom in Kailua is definitely cute and nice for a date night or girls night out. The drinks are delicious but I actually prefer the ones in the beer garden vs the menu. Service is welcoming and friendly as always. My only dislike was the menu. There are only 4 entree options and a handful of appetizers. I had the Pan Seared Hebi but wasn't much of a fan. It was a bit overcooked and kind of tasted like overcooked chicken with a fishy taste. Was hoping they'd have some more menu options so if you're looking for a dinner date, I'm not sure this is the place for you. If you're looking for a nice hang out spot with some delicious drinks, this may be for you.

Was honey girls birthday and decided to fancy it up at The Boardroom. Honestly thought was one surf shop in Kailua small kine. If you hate deciding what to eat, no worries this place only had six dishes to choose from so we shared the $50 ribeye and the $30 bone marrow. The prices were higher than my hourly pay but bah the food was hammaz. The server knew that it was honey girls birthday and gave me the nod that the cake was coming. Hallelujah, she compensated the cake. Oh yea bah If you feeling funky, right next door they got this place where you can dance with all the Kailua Locals. Epic night. Shoots

Boardroom is great. They have lots of events and the outdoor garden space is perfect, I usually get breakfast here and love the paninis and their other food options are tasty too! I love the servers they always make me laugh. There is parking right outside and it's super easy to get to. Definitely check it out if you are visiting and looking for somewhere fun, the cocktail bar inside is delish and super romantic/vibey for date night

First off, I have never written a bad review on yelp because I worked for many years in restaurants and I know how hard service people work, but this meal was so terrible that I can't help but leave a review. We went to the Valentines day prix fixed last night, which was $85 and we got the wine pairing for $35 per person and a half dozen oysters. We first got the oysters, they were served on ice with only lemon and red wine vinegar, no horseradish or crackers. I like oysters but my husband comes from Houston and has been eating oysters his whole life, he could only eat 2 because they were not flavorful and he was questioning how they were raised because the shells looked polished, no barnacles or calcification on the shells. The amuse bouche was 1 small piece of bread cut from a store bought French loaf with some bland soft cheese topped with a few few pieces of caviar and a weird melted berry foam next to it.Next, the starter was a bruschetta. It looks like they used the same French loaf from before and grilled the top then put very finely chopped tomatoes mixed the with garlic olive oil on top. Nothing else mixed in and only 1 piece.Next was supposed to be a thai pork dumpling soup. What was next served to us was a brown oily broth with ONE dumpling. That is it, no vegetables or garnish. Lastly was a mussel and clam alfredo pasta. It was served on a small side dish with only 4 pieces of shellfish on top . The pasta sauce was very blah and one of my clams did not look fully cooked. Lastly the desert looked and tasted like store bought filo bought with chocolate and apple paste spread in the middle and melted dollip of spray can whipped cream on the side. The wine was also meh, and not pairing with the right dishes. (Red wine was paired with the clam pasta..)Over all the food was very bland and not flavorful, I commented that besides the oysters it was like a dinner for a young child. The dishes served to us last night looked NOTHiNG like the pictures on here or the website. I feel very ripped off that with tip we paid over $300 for this meal. Their was nothing substantial about the meal and we had to go home and eat something to feel full. I will never go back, totally a rip off!!

Been here a few times for cocktails and dinner. The last time, my daughter and I had a dinner reservation. After being seated, we were served water. There were a few waitresses who were chitchatting with the bartender. The restaurant was completely empty. 15 minutes came and went, and nobody stopped by to refill our water glasses or to even take our order for anything let alone cocktails. We were being completely ignored; extremely poor business practice. (I tried to make eye contact with the bartender who was directly facing us. But couldn't get his attention.)We didn't like the mistreatment and immediately went online and make a dinner reservation for Goen. We walked out and vowed never to return again. (Thank goodness for Goen because as usual, we had an amazing dining experience! )
