I recently received a free mountain bike from a friend who no longer needed it. Since I enjoy spending time outdoors, I was excited to get this bike. However, the shifting cable needed to be replaced. I called The Bike Shop and they provided me with a reasonable quote for the repair. I was able to bring the bike in the very next day, and they completed the work in just a few hours. The staff at The Bike Shop were friendly and helpful throughout the process. I was impressed by their efficient service and the quality of their work. I will definitely return to The Bike Shop the next time I need any bicycle maintenance or repairs.

Staff at the Aiea location need to take customer service training. Staff need to understand that some customers are beginners and do not know anything about bikes. I've been in this store numerous times and staff make me feel like I'm wasting their time or that I am asking them stupid questions. I would recommend that this store hire a front desk staff person and keep the "mechanics" in the back fixing/maintaining bikes because they do not know how to to talk to customers. #betterbikeshopsonoahu

First time in the shop for some service on my kid's new bike and I was absolutely blown away with the amazing customer here.Down to earth, chill and very helpful.I believe the man's name was Ranie? Sorry if I spelled it wrong.Appreciate the help and I definitely recommend visiting them if you ever need any sort of service on your bike.V

Called this bike shop and asked if they had a certain bike i wanted at this location. (I did see it on their website) he said yes! I told him i was driving to that location. He said ok. Long story short. It wasn't at this location. It was at the Honolulu store. Ugh! Another bad experience with a bike shop. What happened? I remember when this shop was a couple doors down and was called The Great Outdoors!! Back in the 80s and 90s. They had the best customer service and they were friendly aswell. Nowadays, not so much. Very disappointing.

Five stars. Highly recommended.Got my bike serviced over a month ago and they did a great job. Bought the bike off of Craigslist and it needed a good tune-up and overhaul after doing a race with a flat. The bike actually rode at one mph average speed faster. Great stuff!Today, went in for the bike tire change class. Jeri was the instructor and she was the best! Taught us really well, step-by-step of removing the tire from the rim, to removing the tire tube and reinstalling the tube. After learning how to change the first tire, the second one was a breeze! She's a fantastic and fabulous instructor! Highly recommend her as a instructor. I am very pleased with my new tire tubes installed for my next upcoming race.If you need any bike services or wanting to learn how to, highly recommend the Aiea Bike Shop for your needs.

Just purchased my #2 Electra Townie , the first Townie was a 7 speed bike , was a good bike but traded it in for a Electra Townie 7speed E bike . They both great bikes but due to my ailment , I needed the e-bike to help me continue bicycling. I bought the e-bike from Bike Shop in Aiea . I was serviced by two great employees Randal and Randy ( store mgr). They had a no pressure sale on my new bike and they took in my old Electra as a trade . Randy did all the paper work for my new bike and explained on how to charge the battery . Randal answered all my questions I had on the Electra E-bike . His answers and my trade in of my old bike made me want the new Electra Townie E bike . Customer service is a plus here and I recommend Bike Shop Aiea for all your bike needs. I was riding my fat tire e-bike that I built myself, on the pearl harbor path. My chain broke real close to The Bike Shop. The employee figured out what chain I needed and sold me one. I took the chain to my bike but not knowing how it was routed I installed it wrong. The Mechanic told me they charge $35.00 to install, I thought that was more than fair. I brought my bike in and in less than a minute, he routed the chain right. When I tried to pay him he refused, I know the magic he did wasn't time-consuming, but did the trick. I owe the bike shop big time. I was on my way to finish my ride. I will only use this shop and recommend them to everyone.

Walked in, walked out. If you don't know anything about bikes, they don't help you. Gloomy dead feel in here. More lively next door in Goodwill to be honest. Gonna spend money somewhere that appreciates new customers.

Took my bike in for tire repair and tuneup and now my bike doesn't feel like I'm pulling something behind me. Great job in short time
