I LOVE LOVE LOVE Thai food. But finding an authentic Thai / Lao restaurant can be difficult.I think I found my place in Pearl City. This restaurant is VERY consistent in terms of their food flavors and food portions. The food never disappoints and the portions are huge with very reasonable pricing! Everything is meant to be shared, family style! I always order ahead and tell them when I'd be coming in. When I get there, the food only takes about 5 mins to be served. I think the lady that greets you is the owner. She's very friendly and such a good host. She's very attentive which is sooo refreshing !!! Food items I would recommend: papaya salad, nam khao, Tom yum soup, beef fried rice, pad Thai, fried chicken wings, the larb, I'm surprised this place isn't packed at lunch because for the price and portion, there should be a line out the door. It is THAT good.

Take-out review! Panang curry was spot on, consistency of the curry was great, a touch on thinner side. The flavor was creamy and rich. Ordered mild and the spiciness was perfect! The stuffed chicken wings fared pretty well for takeout. A good fried protein option to pair with the curries. Didn't care for the Tom yum fried rice. The sourness of the Tom yum didn't go well with the rice. Plus it was soggy too. Wouldn't mind coming back here as an alternative to my go-to Thai restaurant - Thai Bistro Suksabay Aiea.

Update 12-22-2024. My wife picked up dinner from Thai Loa Restaurant today. PAD Ki Mao (drunken Noodles), and Spring Rolls. The Drunken Noodles were good as before. It's the spring rolls which were horrible. The wrap they use was chewy, and gummy. It had no crispness. What a waste, this is one of my goto Thai restaurants. Hope the next time I go it will change for the better. Enjoy

I thought I was going to have great Thai food this past Saturday but was sorely disappointed. For Thai food, unless it's freshly cooked in the truck you can't eat it pre cooked hours in advance. The Pad Thai was really very dry. The noodles soaked up all the sauce and in the warmer makes it even worse. Score yo can't have pas thai pre cooked. It has to be fresh. The lemongrass fried chicken was ok. Very hard some parts of the chicken. Don't recommend at the Pearlridge night market.

I can only rate the food since I got it at their stand at the lunar new year festival, and it was amazing. The lemongrass fried chicken was perfectly crisp and tender and the lemongrass flavor was present and perfectly balanced. Definitely helped balance the heaviness of wings. The pad Thai was the right amount of chewy with sufficient sauce. And the pork skewer......amazing. Tender, crispy at the ends, well seasoned. Definitely want to go to the restaurant next time!

Update on this restaurant 12-22-24. Picked up dinner for tonight and was disappointed on their spring rolls. Don't know what happened but maybe they changed the wrapper but was gummy even though they still had a great taste inside. The pak ki mow with shrimp was still good but I forgot to ask for mild but my husband said it was fine but for me was spicy real spicy. Lol... other than that said I wish they go back to the original wrappers

Their curries are the most tasty and rich!! By far one of the best on island!! We've tried the panang and green. They're filled with ingredients so it's not just gravy on rice. I always have gotten take out so not sure about the service but it's always ready when I go to pick it up and the phone ordering is a breeze. Have tried the other dishes besides curries which were good but consistent with other Thai restaurants. Their curries are the product that stands out here!! Please never start thinning them out like other places have over the years.

I was craving Thai food and found this spot on Yelp. We've always drove by and never stopped. The place is a little dingy looking on the inside but the food is amazing here. A bit pricey in my opinion but all the dishes we ordered were delicious, amazing flavors. I wish the server would have asked us how hot we wanted our dishes because everything came out very mild. We had to add our own chili oil to our dishes.Hubby really loved the basil pork fried rice here ($17.95)! We had the following items: Chicken larb ($16.95) - very tangy and great lemony flavor. It has an addicting flavor for sure. The spring rolls ($13.95)- I loved the wrapper as it was a bit thicker than usual and tasted great with lettuce and vermicelli. The green papaya salad was so delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. Pad Ki Mao ($16.95) a little bit of oiliness for my taste but still amazing flavors. This spot may be our go to Thai spot.

Always drove by this place was never into Thai food but figured we try em... Located right across the street from pearl city Zippys across kam hwy....can watch the fail rail pass while eating and play "spot the passenger" lolA nice clean and comfortable setting....your typical asian tables and chair...Airconditioned and got inhouse bathrooms...(Real important when dining with Mom and Pops) The menu consisted of all kine Thai food ?I not familiar so dont know) Anyways...we ordered tofu larb..summer rolls..beef pad thai....and beef mushroom with oyster sauce and all was really tasty....The restaurant was pretty busy throughout our dining and seemed like a pretty popular place...I was pleasantly surprised with the food.. The staff was cool and did their job well....My folks definetely liked it and we will certainly be back...

I wanted to try a new Thai restaurant and I'd driven by this place many times so I decided to stop and try it out. The restaurant itself is your typical Thai place with the usual decor but the dirty air conditioning was kind of off putting. Service was not the best as there was only one waiter/server that day and he wasn't very friendly.I ordered the Drunkard's noodle and the evil jungle curry. The curry was salty but flavorful and when added to the white rice the dish was well balanced. The drunkard's noodle was also tasty but again a little too salty for my taste. I'm glad I got to try this place out but I don't imagine I'll be back.
